Hi all,

Firstly, I am not a native English speaker. For same I ordered to edubirdie.com for a task. I'm also from Russia. They delivered the work but I need this helpful forum reviews on the work they deliver.

Edu BirdsI am pasting some 2 paras from their work for reviews. If it is all okay, I will submit it further, if there is issues in it, please tell me so I can get proof-reading of it.

Analysis of the profiles of offenders, includes discussion of several key components. In particular, offender profile is analysed below by age, gender, race and ethnicity, and by time between the incident and the time of arrest.

Analysis of offenders by age includes several key points. Out of the 9,778 arrestees between the years 2004 and 2009 arrested in parking lots in the state of Colorado, ages range from 9 years old to 78 years old. The most common demographic was the age range of 18 to 24, consisting of 36.66 percent of all arrestees. The average age of all suspects arrested or cited in all cities was 26.46 years old and the median age of these suspects was 23 years old. Detailed data is available in the graph provided below.

I will appreciate comments on it. Also if you guys recommend me any proof-reading service if there is issues in above work.

@Machelle: It's not very well written and there are some punctuation mistakes, but it's not terrible. If you're an ESL undergraduate, it might be a better match for your English than something written at a higher academic level and/or in perfect English. I'm only commenting on the writing and have no idea whether it's something that's original or something just copied from somewhere else, or something that's already been sold countless times. If it's original writing, it might OK for you.

There is a bit of a tweaking required alongside few punctuation corrections, but on the whole, its not badly written. Being a writer, editor and proofreader, I can sense that the written text makes sense every step of the line.

You can see a few proofreading samples done under my pen at freelancer.com/u/Naeem2011.html

Thats my online profile where you can see the real knack of my past writing record...

Best Regards,
Naeem

Re: "Analysis of the profiles of offenders, includes discussion of several key components."

Besides the misplaced comma, the rest of this verbiage is academically acceptable, and a little better than what I've seen many other writers produce. It should be pointed out that the creative process sometimes introduces these types of errors if writers aren't careful about proofreading their own work. In some cases, adding new words or revising what has already been written can cause this type of mistake.

More to the point, it has also been my experience that even after 50 years of typing, my fingers still have a mind of their own from time to time and will type whatever the hell they want despite my commanding them to type otherwise. I have even sat and watched myself think one thing and type another more than once. All in all, this ain't bad.

@Machelle These paragraphs seem to be fine but they do not look as if they were written by a native speaker.
I am also an international student and was looking for a good writing service with a high quality papers for long. The best website which I used so far was Writing paper. There is an option to choose either ESL or ENL writer so you can be sure about the quality you get after you pay for assignment.

@Machelle I would not take the advice of Lora_K seriously as she could be leading down the wrong path. She is everywhere on this forum promoting various writing services for students to try. None of which seem to be as reliable as hiring a freelance writer from this forum. The text that was written for you is obviously done in the style of an ESL writer. Based upon your own writing pattern, I believe that you can easily pass off the work that was written for you as your own. Try to avoid the services recommended by Lora because she is endorsing various companies that are not affiliated with nor recommended by EssayScam. Her recommendations are her own in her capacity as an obvious "marketing" person for these various academic writing companies. If you encounter any problems while using services she recommends, EssayScam and the freelance writers here will not be able to help you sort it out. We will only be able to offer you sympathy for any problems you might encounter. Since Lora is from the Ukraine, her recommendations are definitely questionable.

Everything from Ukraine is questionable, sad but true. Ukraine is the kenya of Europe when it comes to online research services.

@Harvard Study Any writing company located in the Ukraine and Kenya are not only questionable, they are downright despicable. The way that they scam the students and mistreat their writers makes them some of the most evil people on the planet as far as I am concerned. I would not even bother to make differentiating comparisons between them. These companies belong in the same rotten basket, regardless of the country of origin. I would not even pretend to think that there might be one or two of them that are on the level.

As a person who has worked for writing companies from both countries, I have no kind words for these people and I agree with your sentiment regarding these companies. They should never be allowed to conduct any sort of business related to services. The problem is that they are allowed to purchase fake U.S. and U.K. addresses for their fly by night companies online and as such, these shady groups continue to deceive people who would not bother to check the validity of their so-called "company addresses" before engaging in business with them.

Edubirdie is still going strong, at least if it is based on its IP address information. Whether they can keep up not paying their writers and being unable to recruit new students to scam is another question. Students are too familiar with their con already to easily fall for their smokescreen of a website. Last I heard, they have been fishing around for writers as well. Apparently the Covid 19 problem booted their 3rd world writers offline. They now have an almost empty server and almost 0 writers to assign orders to.

According to the reviews platform, they are not legitimate, you can go through Sitejabber, in fact there positive reviews are also fake...

Sitejabber used to be a legitimate platform. Like other review sites, they sold out and allowed paid advertising already when they needed to increase their income. It isn't really about helping students avoid the scams anymore. It is about allowing the written equivalent of a boxing match at their site. They have 2 opposing companies destroying each other using paid reviews and trolls. I would not take anything posted at SiteJabber seriously.
