Hmm... for some reason, that url does not directly point to the website anymore. It has apparently been the target of attacks that has caused them to do bot security checks and IP address tracing. They are one of those companies that became afraid of the monster that it created, their own company. There is no reason for them to be extra careful unless they know that they are actually guilty of something. I do not doubt that a disgruntled client, possibly a student with coding prowess, managed to take their site down after they delivered shabby service.

It appears that they are still in business and have somehow managed to resolve their payment issues with their writers. I have been hearing some good stuff about their payment method these days. They are paying on time and respect the salary threshold of their writers. They are under new management as far as everyone can tell. The new owners are trying to keep the writer's happy and competitive with AI by offering free training for the writers before they start the job. Not bad. Here's hoping they keep up with their positive treatment of their writers.

I've heard that the company is actually bleeding money. They have not had the traffic that they used to enjoy for several years now. They are trying to stay afloat but it is becoming more and more difficult for them to do so. They pretend to be in the hiring process for writers so that everything will seem normal but then, they do not hire any of the writer applicants. They are trying to sell their domain names at the moment but there are no takers. Business owners are still observing how AI will finally affect the academic writing market.

They appear to be cost cutting. essaywritings.org is offline. The server cannot be found. It is a registered domain name without any files existing on the registered server. So I guess that was the company that had the least amount of earnings of the various company names. It was the least important so it was removed from the company listing already. The rest of the companies are still registered to the same person so the same problems still exist for the clients that hire any of these companies.

The website is still inaccessible to most. The main message is:
Website Unavailable
The website you are trying to reach is unavailable due to security measures in place which restrict unauthorized access.

The explanation is:
The request was unfortunately blocked by our system because the requested domain is not authorized on Cloudways server i.e. The domain has been successfully pointed to a Cloudways server but it is not mapped to an application.

It appears that the website has been taken down, but the domain name remains active for some reason.

Since there has been a slowdown in terms of human academic writing services, this field of employment has found a need to evolve. These days, the academic writers find themselves being hired as AI editors. What is an AI editor? The writer now has the job of going through tons of AI developed essays and articles, trying to make it sound more like a human being has written it. AI will eventually take over 10% of the human jobs in terms of writing, but it will never sound as good as when a human actually writes the article, essay, or paper. So I believe that more and more alternative writing jobs, in relation to AI, will be coming our way in the future.

Writing Careers / Eduwriters, do they pay? [23]

I am always thrilled to learn that a scam academic writing website has gone offline. Normally I would rejoice in seeing that the domain name is already up for sale since that signifies the company is out of business. Then I find out that these websites give up their domain names in favor of a more affordable and easier to promote FB page. Now I feel duty bound to warn both the writers and students who come to this forum to be careful. The company might resurface in FB. Remember, there is a reason for the bad publicity of this company. Do not trust them as a service provider or as an employer.

I wonder if this website is somehow related to facultywriter.com ? While the originally stated URL / domain name in no longer accessible or searchable, this similar sounding company name shows up as a Facebook page in most search engines. It seems like too much of a , to me. Does anybody have any information about this alternately named company ? Can anyone verify if a relationship exists between the 2 companies? Students have the right to know if this is the same lousy company under a new name. Is it the same con game?

Due to the sudden rise and dependence of students on AI for essay writing, independent writers and companies have found themselves slashing their prices to a moderate degree. That is because the digital competition comes for free and therefore, gets more student traffic. The students do not realize that quality work does not come for free. All they want is a quick way to accomplish their academic tasks, without having to spend for it. That is not the correct way to save on educational expenses. Independent writers and writing companies cannot work for free. However, if a student were to compare the AI product with a human written product, he should realize that paying for the essay, even at a premium price, will be well worth the money spent.

Essay Services / The owner of discuss essay [7]

The website in question no longer exists. Although, digging into its background seems to indicate that it used to be housed on a Wordpress server. That could not have been good. No decent independent writer would ever use a blog site for business. It is a good thing that the company went out of business though. It surely saved a lot of students from making the mistake of hiring the services of that company. Since it is Indian owned, there is no way it could have writers on staff that knew how to write even a simple grade school essay.

Writing Careers / beware of UVOcorp.com [38]

UVOCorp has moved its business from wherever it was they were originally located to the Philippines. The company is now known as UVOCorp Phils. So the services they provide and, dare I say it, their treatment of their writers just went from bad to worst. I mean, how can a scam company run out Europe improve when run by scammers from a third world country? Exactly. This is not a business model that an independent writer or student looking for good services should look into. The website really looks flashy and glossy. It will take you in with the sophistication of its design. Do not be fooled. The service is not up to par with the image they are trying to project.

How does Academia-Research and its affiliate companies manage to stay in business with such crappy services from their ESL and 3rd world writers? Their Writer's exam is a laugh and they do not have any actual quality control to speak of within their company. Do not believe that these companies are independent of Academia-Research. That is the main company that holds the main server. All the other sites are redirected to their Academia server once the order has been successfully placed. Do not put your confidence in any of their companies. They are sued on a regular basis and often found guilty in court. The problem is enforcing the penalty.

the mere fact that the company was located in India should have been enough of a red flag for most students. I guess the fact that the company finally went offline is the best response to the question regarding the trust factor of this company. It was never trustworthy. If it were, it would still be in business today. The URL is no longer accessible. The homepage is down, but the rest of the website is still active on the server. So the next question becomes, will the company resurface under a different name but with the same function? Students, beware !

Turnitin and other plagiarism detection tools are finding themselves having to keep up with technology these days instead of academic writers. Artificial intelligence has proven to be a formidable opponent to their plagiarism detection abilities. Something that they did not have to deal with when students were still mostly hiring human beings to write their papers for them. Unfortunately for these students who have come to rely on technology for their essays, it is also technology that have made it more difficult for them to use free or even paid AI writing services. Nothing beats a human being writing an original paper for the student. In the end, both TurnitIn and AI writing will bow to the perfection that is the human written essay.

I am not sure about when exactly the website of this company went down but it is now offline. It seems to be a pretty recent take-down since the domain name is not up for sale yet. The server connection has been severed but the handshake is still happening between the two. The files are just inaccessible already. So considering whether this company is any good is now moot. Students should consider themselves lucky that they have been saved from having to work with this scam site.

4 years later and the url is still up for sale. It is no longer a matter of Covid having affected them. It is more like nobody wants to deal with a damaged url. The writers of the company left when they were not paid and the image of the company as being non-payers affected the value of the website / company name. Any company int he academic writing industry that left with a negative image will not be able to resell their name. It is damaged. There is not a person or business that would risk using the same name for fear of repercussion from the writers that were not paid.

Students can disconnect from search engines these days and simply rely on Gemini or ChatGPT when writing their essays. These AI programs have become so pervasive in the academic writing world that students have come to rely on them to write their essays. The thing is, it is so easy to spot an essay written by an AI, which students fail to understand. An AI written essay reads almost the same as the OP. It is senseless, fails to make a point, and does not really help the student create a grade worthy original paper. Artificial intelligence is exactly that, artificial, lacking in logic and sense because it only takes information it finds and splices it together.

This is protecting itself from online attacks using Cloudflare. Why would a legitimate company be blocking people from certain regions of the world from accessing their websites? It does not make any sense. They should be trying to recruit clients, not keep them out. They are paranoid for some reason. Perhaps they have been reported enough times to the proper authorities that the only way they can protect themselves from prosecution is by limiting access to their website. It appears they are IP tracing the people who try to enter the site and blocking based on the trace.

I can only hazard a guess in this case. The person who started this thread was blackmailing the company and the Watch This Space threat was his way of trying to get them to comply with his threat. Since he abruptly stopped posting, maybe he got what he wanted out of them. How much he got is the question. This whole thread reeked of a veiled blackmail process. Everyone else who posted in support if this person were more than likely in on the blackmail scam with him.

Essay WarningNeither companies are good. Neither company can be trusted to deliver what the client needs. Neither of them will do refunds. Both of them are just out to scam the clients. Both of them run successful cons on almost every student they come across.

Both of them do not give a twat about what happens to the student as long as the check clears. Trust either company at your own risk. Then, prepare for the negative impact of their actions. Don't go looking for someone to blame when it happens. We tried to warn you.

Both companies are in violation of the UK education act, whose title I can never seem to remember. A true UK based academic agency would know that they are facing stiff penalties by aiding a student in cheating the educational system.

These companies are normally located outside of the UK, but using a .uk locator to make themselves seem legitimate. Do not engage their services for any reason. You will be risking your educational future if you choose to work with them.

Always remember this experience when you or other students are trying to choose between essay writing services or independent writers. It never hurts to ask for other people's opinions. It is better to seek an opinion rather than deciding blindly when hiring services. I hope that you will have better luck when choosing essay writing services in the future.

You have been had. That company comes straight out of India. They hire third rate writers from across the 3rd world. You were enticed by their cheap rates right? You thought you would be getting a bargain with those rates? Nope. The cheaper a service is, the more suspicious you should be. A high quality writer will never use discounted rates. He values the quality of his work too much to price it cheaply. That is not to say that all expensive writers are quality writers though. You still have to use your own judgement by interviewing the writer prior to hiring.

Africans are now pretending to be Indian at this and other forums, along with their own company websites. It recently came to my attention that EssayChat has started double checking the IP addresses of the writers and companies posting there, which led to this discovery. The fact checkers of this forum actually did an IP lookup and discovered that the "Indian" owner was actually straight out of Africa. They immediately posted a location correction alongside the username of the person. Thanks for going above and beyond in helping our students steer clear of fraud.

It is a definite benefit that your daughter did not use the sloppy work that they provided. Not that they actually have a meeting with the university head or anybody from her school, that is an empty threat. What I mean is that your daughter has a clear conscience and can sleep at night knowing that she did the right thing. Now, as for hiring writing services in the future, it is important that you recruit your next writer after a proper vetting of his information or the company background. You should come to EssayScam prior to hiring anyone or any company just to know if anybody here can vouch for the person or company. You might also get a warning that will help you avoid fraudsters.

Writing Careers / ESL academic ghostwriting stories [24]

The main problem that the industry has now are not the ESL writers, it is the ESL writers that use AI to write the papers. They manage to somehow come across a native speakers because of the AI behind their writing but, the AI is only as good as the writer himself. If the writer is ESL and does not have the ability to fact check the information provided and improve upon the material drafted by the program, then the ESL problem in academic writing just got worse. There is not a double problem in the sense that the student may read the writer's work as that of a native speaker, but he will be left with an error filled essay just the same because of the ESL writer's inability to edit and proof read the AI work.

Never hand over your money to someone handing out pamphlets in exchange for writing services. As a client, you do not have any recourse should the work of that client be unacceptable. You will not be able to get a refund from that person who can easily do a bait and switch on you. You do not know anything about that person. He doesn't even have a virtual office to speak of. You do not have the protection of PayPal, Payoneer, or those other electronic payment services that can come to your aid in case of a bad deal. Stick to an online assignment service instead. At least you have buyer protection that way.

Students should not fall back on the quick fix that the AI writing tools provide. While it can help you get your paper on time and it can provide you with a list of sources, the paper itself will be more problematic than if you hired a writing company to develop the paper for you. An AI writer will scour the web for information that will be cut and paste into a presentation, which you will think is original, but is actually plagiarized. You should instead, try to contact a human writer who can actually write an original paper for you. Just make sure that the writer is qualified to write the paper for you. There are several writers available here whom you can contact for such purposes. Just make sure to vet them well for qualifications and reliability.

EditPad.org is nothing more than a bloated AI tool that is designed to separate students from their money. The pop ups do not even have a human on the other end like they used to. That is also AI generated already and focuses on the target of the company, to sell you an AI service you do not need. An AI service that will not be useful to you because it lacks the logic of human thinking. It will only be a series of cut and paste information from across the web that you will not be able to use since there is no clarity to the way that the information is presented. Rather than using that app, hire a human being to work on your essay instead.

General Talk / Assessment blackmail [4]

Assessment HelperThe scam writer is just fishing. He does not have any information about your university while he pretends he does.

Anything he presents to you in the form of documentation is a fabricated lie.

That is the modus operandi of these negative writer players.

They will try to scare you into giving them money to keep quiet. Just keep on ignoring them. It will not amount to anything.

You did not submit the paper you paid for so you did not break any academic laws.

You can rest easy knowing that you are not vulnerable to their threats.

Just send their email directly to spam. Do not even bother to read it. You can always post your findings on this forum.

Since most digital / online exams these days require the digital ID / photo of the exam taker, it is not a good idea to pay someone to take the test for you. Aside from the fact that you will be deluding yourself by thinking that you actually did well on a test that you did not take, you may not be able to claim the score for yourself based on the digital identity requirements. It is always best to simply take the test personally, after you have gained the confidence that you are more than prepared to take the test. Never pay someone to take the test for you. In case you get caught, you can be brought up on charges and you will have ruined your own future..

I would ask students from the UK to steer clear of this writing company as they are in direct violation of several UK laws pertaining to the hiring of essay mills. Once caught using an essay mill, and yes, the UK has successfully brought such cases to court, your academic career ends and so does your chance at a brighter future. You should stay within the guidance of the law when it comes to hiring writers from the UK. Hire someone who actually knows the law and how to get around it in a legally acceptable manner.

It is one of the better known writing companies out there. Their writers are professional and work well with clients. The problem, is that the company is also struggling to keep and broaden its client base because of the AI writing craze. While AI writing does have its benefits, it does not have all the attributes of a human writer. You would do well to combine the AI paper with a human writer from custompapers. I've heard positive stuff about that combination from some users. Give it a try. It won't hurt. The company is not a blackmail or scam predator.

The academic writing company owners tend to change their citizenship depending upon the global mood. There was a time when being Ukrainian was the in thing so they used their original nationality. Later on, it became bad for their business to be identified under the original citizenship. Since nobody would be asking them to present documents to prove their citizenship online for their academic writing companies, they decided to change to Canadian citizenship. Give them enough time and they will change that citizenship yet again for an undisclosed reason.

The company is still in existence but no longer performs as an academic writing site. It has refocused itself as a business research firm and consultancy. It is a research company for hire to businesses, which means they saw the writing on the wall and realized that they will not be able to sustain their academic writing business based upon the model they were using at that point. I applaud them for changing their business platform instead of continuing to cheat students of their money with unreliable academic writing.

24 Hour AnswersThe company does not pay the writer in this case. They pay the person who provides the best response to the question of the student. It is like a bidding war. The item up for grabs? Whoever delivers the most believable answer to the most lost student out there. They make their money hoping that the gullible student will pick the answer that they think is correct.

Even when they hire someone to work out the problem for them, they cannot be sure that they will be getting the right answer. Not until they get their actual grade for the paper. I would not advise any student to take such a risk. There is just too much involved in terms of grades that make hiring this company risky.

This is not an academic writing service as far as I can tell. It appears to be more of an academic assistance site where students can go if they need additional help with their classes.

There is nothing on the site to indicate that they will do anything more than guide the learning process of the student. It is all about helping them understand their lessons through tutoring or work guidance. So no, I do not think it is a scam at this point. It is just a study aid site.

Getting paid in this business can be tricky when you are dealing with the company solely online, without an e-contract, and no proper payout schedules. Some ocmpanies have really been struggling with paying their writers these days because students have come to prefer using an AI to write their paper first, then adjusting the paper on their own or, then hiring a writer to smooth the rough edges of the presentation. Either way, writers and the companies have been struggling to gain regular clients and large orders since the start of this year. Let's hope that the AI writing trend in academics comes to an end soon.

Since the information is eritten in Chinese, there is no need to worry that a non Chinese student might get scammed.

AI works on the concept of plagiarism. It is trained to take information from all over the web, then it rewrites the information in a manner that may seem fresh to the average reader, but not to a professor or a plagiarism checker. That is the danger when it comes to using AI in academic writing. You can ask it to write a 250 page essay for you on a given topic, and it will do it. However, when you check the paper, you may find the content to be empty and often uses repeated information, as if it ran out of information to rewrite. A professor will see that and the student, should be the first one to spot it so that he can correct the problem before submitting the paper. An AI paper should not be submitted for a grade without first passing through human intervention.

Essay Services / KillerPapers IS SCAM - FRAUD [12]

Killer PaperThe thing is, the company uses fake testimonials to gain an audience.

They claim to have a 5 star rating on SiteJabber and Google.

Ratings are not given by Instagram users in terms of stars or anything else so they made a mistake in referencing that social media site on their page.

Students who are gullible enough to believe in the presentation of this company are not the sort of do due diligence on a company or writer background.

So they will end up in trouble later on with the company.

It is best to never use any company that claims to have stars on social media for ratings.

Always talk to the company rep or writer directly and trust your instinct if it is telling you there is something wrong with the person on the other end.
