The first thing you should do is ignore all his threats and block his email address along with his Whatsapp number. Make yourself unsearchable on the app. That way the harassment will end /stop. They can only threaten you if they can reach you.

Next, continue this thread by helping other students. Make it clear, by naming names, which company you hired from this forum since you claim to have found the company / writer via this site. That way the victimization of students coming across them here can be prevented.

Finally, stop worrying about the threats. Although there are some instances when they do try to contact the school officers, these actions often result in inaction from the school since the schoolk are conscious of these tactics.

Let this be a lesson to all concerned. Never hire a company or freelance writer to take exams for you. They will just Google the answers anyway which is something you can do yourself. If you are still getting a D anyway, you may as well save the money.

Consider yourself lucky that your school does not do an lP trace when you log in for exams. Had you been l P traced, the school itself would have immediately known that you cheated, locked you out of the test, and had the strongest evidence to immediately expel you from school.

These information are quite personal and should only be known to close family members and friends. Clients will probably be too sheepish to make such inquiries and willis would not appreciate the third degree. Students should instead be testing the writers knowledge in relation to the topic more than anything else. It is his knowledge and expertise in the field that matters the most. His personal background has nothing to do with the job. Focus on information that actually relates to the proper completion of the work at hand. These suggestions sound more applicable to a dating site profile than academic writing.

Elon Musk seems to have solved the problem of plagiarism and academic dishonesty when it comes to writing essays via his ChatGPT as released by OpenSource AI. The software is free to use and can actually develop usable essay papers for the correct high school or essay levels. This would explain why the academic writing business seems to be slowing down. Why will the students pay for a paper when the AI is available and, with a little content adjustment from the student, can provide a plagiarism free paper that they can confidently submit for a grade. While the program is not yet perfect, it is fast becoming the go to essay writing assistant of students of various levels. Even ESL students are benefitting from this new writing tool which, I believe, is the solution to a workable, scam-free ESL writer. Even teachers admit that it is difficult to tell the AI apart from the student written paper. Perhaps because the student actually has to participate on some level with the development of the essay content.

While the company may truly employ only qualfiied writers, who are tasked to write papers based on their expertise, it appears that the quality of the work from this site has deteriorated over the past few years. When you do an independent search for the company via Google, it actually comes across as one of the top scam academic writing companies. The writers are said to no longer be student instruction compliant as they disregard the writing instructions provided. The company also no longer applies any sort of plagiarism check prior to forwarding the paper to the client. Apparently several of their writers have been caught submitting plagiarized papers this year. The writers are now in the practice of self-plagiarism. These writers now simply paraphrase their previously written papers and submit these to new clients as an original. A very dangerous thing to do since students tend to submit these papers for a grade.

Essay Services / Beware of site essayforme.com [9]

The site is heavily text based for a reason. They hope that the student will quickly tire of reading the repetitive information and just go directly to placing an order. It is possible that this could happen in the case of students who hire services based on their available allowance as opposed to those that here the service after proper inquiries are done regarding services and writer quality. These are also the students who do not really care about work quality, until he sees his paper grade. These are only a few reasons why students will do well to steer clear of this company and their offered services. Stay away from this company. There is too much at stake to lose if you do.

the fraud gives username/password to his criminal friends from Africa who then take over.

Actually, it isn't only fraudulent writers that engage in this practice. Even the company affiliated writers got into this practice, which is why there was a bloodbath of account verifications in some companies a couple of years back. The actual account holder rented out his account to his "partners" who would get jobs at the company where there were not formally recognized as system users, complete the order, then wait for the regularly scheduled pay date for them to get paid, with a certain interest going to the account holder. It became so rampant that they were practically a sub-company functioning under the actual company. I do not know how the companies caught on to this practice, they just eventually did.

I just have to point out that the discusssion points presented by forumregulator actually make sense and should be taken into consideration by students looking to hire a writer directly or is in the process of vetting a company writer.

Undergrad papers are much easier if you are writing within an area you've studied because you can simply regurgitate what you already know.

Consider if you will that you will not have a car mechanic perform a surgery, even if he claims that he has the practical experience to perform an appendectomy, you would not hire a Biology graduate to write a paper on British History. He knows about biology and its related fields, but most certainly not British History.

As for Postgrad, you'll need to do more research because most of them demand use of theories and concepts that you first need to have already mastered before doing your research.

This is the reason it is quite difficult to write a postgrad paper in an area you are not familiar with.

I cannot believe that there was actually someone who was at this forum before @a1writer recently arrived and began saying the very same things. I am now more convinced than ever that a jack of all trades writer cannot writer papers higher than his actual educational level and also, within the actual realm of study he matriculated in. If you have not studied all of the available college and post grad courses, it would be improbable for a multi subject writer to deliver an A+ paper every single time, regardless of topic. Specially in the masters and Phd levels.

Ownership an location do not matter. What matters is delivering the job as expected.

This is very true. However, there are students who give value to the location of the writing company as it relates to their perceived writer's abilities and qualities. Which is probably why most of these writing companies, this one included, prefers to claim to have offices and writers in various locations. It is all smoke and mirrors. The company benefits from their perceived multi locations and their ESL writers are protected by the "writer's homebase" consideration. These are additional reasons to be weary of hiring writers coming from companies that prove to have multi locations. You never know what kind of writer you are actually getting. Regardless of the recruitment process of the company. It is up to the student to verify the writer's work quality before finalizing the order or accepting the assigned writer.

It is not possible to find a legitimate UK based writing company these days. Due to the anti essay mill law, which covers particular areas of the UK, most of the ones that actually have a UK based office have shifted to writing consultancy, editing, and proofreading services. Any essay company that claims to continue to write for UK based students are most definitely not UK based companies or writers. While it is not impossible that the "consultancy" services do not end up writing the the paper for the student, it is more difficult for them to engage in such services as there are now criminal penalties involved when the actual UK based company is brought up on chargers of fraud. This is the reason why the companies in the UK have tended to shy away from actual academic writing these days.

The company seems to have improved its website presentation. The services offered are much clearer to the student now as they divided the services into sections with clear explanations as to how the services work. What I consider most important here is that the company is not hawking writing services. They are offering academic help via online tutoring and consultation. That is something that I can trust a company to do well since the person assisting would have to really be knowledgable about the topic that the student is paying the consultant to assist him with. the student does his own writing, under proper information guidance. I would give this company a test with a moderately complicated assignment just to test them out. The kind of assignment I could complete myself, without help, but will use help this time just to see if I can actually use their services for more complicated topics in the future. It is a service that encourages the student to write his paper, without AI assistance and that is very important in these days of essay writing on the fly.

recommend previous students

These days students working on their dissertation can hire professional editors to help them with their papers. They will not write the paper for the student but will assist in sourcing information material, reviewing content, and helping with defense prepation. These are parts of the job that a recommended reviewer will not be willing to help a student with, but a paid research assistant, not to be confused with a writing assistant, would be willing to do for a small fee. Most students who hire research and editing asisstants have said that it is money well spent as it helps increase their writing time. Research afterall takes up more than half the time when creating the dissertation paper.

Is the company legitimate? That is kind of a moot question to be asking these days. The company has taken the domain name connection off from its internet connection. So while the domain name is still in existence, it is no longer soliciting business since the pages are offline, but not removed from the server yet. Where the company is located and who owns it are no longer important questions these days. All that matters is that students no longer have to consider hiring this company, since there is no company to look into anymore. It looked like a negative company from the very start anyway.

It would be very difficult to continue giving out this award these days. How can one pick the worst scam site in an industry that is currently overrun by fake writers, scam companies, and under educated ESL writers posing as ENL writers? It would be easier to simply give each company that has a negative review an award. The negative reviews come with proper documentation anyway and would really make the companies competitive with one another, in a highly negative way.

All 3 of these companies are notorious for ripping off their clients. It is a wonder that they still manage to stay in business. These 3 companies, which are obviously owned by the same people / person are regular fixtures at complaintsboard.com. Students file complaints and try to use a mediator to get their money back on a regular basis. The fact that their landing pages look highly similar and does not make any sense, unless you are an aficionado of classic print advertisement layouts, should be the first sign that these companies are not the kind that a student would want to willingly deal with. I wonder if the students they previously conned did not notice how badly written the web content of each of the pages were. I mean, one would have to be blind to not see those grammatical errors, which are a dead giveaway when it comes to the kind of writing that they will produce for any client,

Indian researchThere have been at least 5 complaints filed against this company at the Complaints Board. None of these were ever resolved as the company refuses to cooperate with the client, the mediator, and any other entity that has tried to get a successful chargeback claim against the company. They are well known scammers who never deliver the paper as promised, but often get hired due to their unbelievably low costs.

Their writers are not even ESL at this point, but they are willing participants in the scam. You should file a formal complaint with Paypal via the chargeback form. That may be your best bet since Paypal tends to side with the complainants in most instances. You may refer to the following information to help with your claim (if Paypal will accept it as evidence of dealing with a well known internet scammer):

I guess the company did not survive the transition from the pandemic to a new open academic writing market. The domain name is apparently no longer active as the name can no longer be resolved during the handshake stage. I would like to believe that this is a good thing since there does not seem to be any positive feedback about this writing company. If it was UK based, it would have to take itself down and realign the company services to not violate the new anti-essay mill law that their parliament passed a few months back. Since it hasn't come back, then the problem with the company went beyond just bad reviews and unskilled writers.

The reason why these flaws exist in the work of ESL writers, and why ENL writers can get away with just getting by with the essays they write is simple. The students who hire them do not hold either type of writer to the highest level of writing standards. What is the highest level of writing / standard? Whatever level the writer considers his highest level should be multiplied by at least 100%. Why? The students are paying for the service so merely accomplishing the task at the expected level, or the writer's idea of his highest level of writing should not be enough. It is up to the student to force the highest writing level out of his writer regardless of writer type. Never be satisfied with the work even if it looks like it will deliver the expected grade. For the money being paid, the students always deserve better than the best the writer has to offer in terms of writing and research skills.

One thing that the pandemic proved to everyone is that this particular field of work is recession proof.

This is no longer true. Writing companies have been releasing their writers at a faster pace as the holidays approach. Most of these companies have also freeze their hiring until further notice.

When I ask why this is so, they respond that there are not enough clients to go around anymore and the direct hiring sites have affected their bottomline. The business has also seen a decline in inquiries since the emergence of the writing apps.

It appears that the financial pinch has also affected the spending power of the regular clients. We can only hope that things improve next year for everyone (with the exception of @a1writer and I) concerned.

Has anybody noticed that the website seems to be designed by a child attending daycare? I mean seriously, there is no proper layout, the rainbow colored text makes it difficult to read, the elementary words used in the copy, these all represent the kind of amateur individuals who are involved in running the company and writing the papers. First impressions count when it comes to this business. So when a company comes across like a kiddie storybook rather than a professional business, I would have to question the actual skills of those involved and the mentality of the people running the company. I would not hire a company that looks like it was created to advertise a clown college.

This company no longer comes up in any search engine. Needless to say, it is pointless to even discuss the negatives of a company that has ceased to do business for some time now. While it is sad that they were able to do harm to the students who hired their services, we should take some consolation in the fact that they are no longer able to do so. I do not doubt that the negative publicity that their company garnered over time was the reason for the end of their dismal service to students. Students deserved far better than what this company offered them during the time they were active in the academic writing world.

This post leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It is one thing for a person who has a writing acumen to fall into the academic writing business. It is another thing for an educator of any sort to get into the business and even ask about ethical academic writing to a certain extent. There is no such thing as ethical academic writing when a teacher, professor, or instructor engages in academic writing for students. This should be considered a violation of the teacher's oath (if there was one) as he is aiding and abetting in the violation of the academic oath students take when attending school. The fact that this OP is encouraging cheating among students makes me wish I could have made his lose his job as an educator when he first made this post.

While I do agree that you do not need to second guess yourself, you should still go after giving yourself peace of mind. If you can get beyond the automated system of Paypal, perhaps they can help you trace all the way back to the time that you did use the service. That way you will know if you forgot to pay them or not. However, I believe you did not forget to pay them because they would have harasses you all the way back in 2011 if you did. By knowing the truth, you get preserve your peace of mind. Do not deal with them directly but get information to help you find inner peace. By the way, their server may be located in Kansas, not the company itself. The IP address tracers often give the server location rather than the actual company location. By the way, never engage the services of a private or company writer that does not have a company url attached to it. Gmail addresses are so easy to acquire that most scam companies use these addresses because they have no intention of doing work on the level.

If you are referring to essayscholars.com, based on the contact email you provided, the company url was only registered in 2019, not 2011. The server information is indeed rerouted to show a US location. The location does not exist. It is a body of water in the middle of Chicago. All information points to them hiding their actual location so ignore them. If you respond in any way, they will keep coming after you. So just consider it junk mail knowing all of this information.

Only students from Dubai should use a Dubai based writing service. Always remember that even if UK educational standards are used in a country, it still will not compare to the actual UK or US educational process and learning institutions. They are better educated when compared to their counterparts, but still at a lesser capacity than the UK and American original. Sure a Dubai based writer can get the job done, but not at the proper writing standards that a UK and/or US student expects when he pays for the service. For UK students, there is also a risk involved on the part of the student who is not covered by the UK anti essay mill law when he hires a writing service that is not governed by the law.

Companies that fine their writers these days find themselves with an ever shrinking writers pool. The writers now have other work options and do not hesitate to stop working for the company anymore. What with the emergence of direct hiring forums and websites, writers have all but eliminated the middleman at this point. Companies that still have a fining policy find themselves adjusting to the new workplace and have either reduced the fining policies or done away with it altogether. They need the writers more than the writers need them at this point.

Essay Services / Is custompapers.com a scam? [11]

While their website is highly unprofessional since it is heavily text based, without any graphic breaks, and uses elementary text font effects to an unreasonable degree, it does good work in explaining what sort of papers they produce. The page clearly states that the work is to be used as a model paper. They clearly indicate that they retain the rights to the paper content and the student should only use it as a properly referenced source in the paper that he wrote based on the information provided. This leads me to believe that they have integrity of service, most specially since they are members of an unnamed business organization in Florida. However, the non-mention of this organization makes me wonder about the way this reference is used. If they are a truly legit business member in Florida, this should not be a problem and they should have the authority to mention the organization as a proper business reference should students wish to check them out. How else can the students learn of the company is legit or a scam right?

This is a perfect example of how opportunists exist in all forums. There will always be that freelancer who is more on the lookout for the con, rather than doing a clean and honest job for the money he wishes to earn. The OP was right to cancel the contract as soon as his gut feeling kicked in. The way that the writer used the email of the student to harass him highlights the importance of using a disposable email address when working with freelancers. Never use your legitimate or long term infomation when dealing with freelancers or any writing company for that matter. By using disposable addresses, the client manages to circumvent the blackmail plans of the writer / writing company. Always limit the access of the writer to any of your actual information. Never forward any data that has identifiers of any sort because the freelancer or company will definitely try to use it against you when the opportunity arises. In this case, since the OP did not continue with the deal, then he had nothing to worry about. There was no evidence of his having used a pre-written paper in any scenario the writer might have thought up to blackmail him.

The company claims: "Get connected to one of our 5,235 professional essay writers within minutes and have your writing assignment handled rocket fast!" Something that I find unbelievable. The number of writers they have on staff make me question the quality of the papers produced. With that many writers on call, the company is almost like a call center. There is always a writer available to fill the seat, you just might not get quality work out of it. The service could be subpar or totally unusable. With a 1 hour turn around time, regardless of the page count, I suspect that the client will get only cut and paste information in his paper, making the output unusable. It cannot even be rephrased or rewritten by the client to avoid academic dishonest problems. Students will do well to remember, when a company makes unbelievable promises, they will not deliver at all and you will be better off looking for services somewhere else.

I see. So basically, the law regulates an otherwise lawless industry by giving it working guidelines and borders of service that should not be crossed. These offered services have always been legitimate professions in all countries, but the UK is the first I heard of that actually passed a law to legitimize the industry in relation to academic writing. A very good step towards taking this profession out of the shadows and building client - writer confidence.

@a1writer

writers who don't care whether or not a student passes the essay off as their own are a disgrace.

This is true. I believe writers should take pains to guide the students they work for and care about how the model papers are used. After all, it will not serve the student a purpose if I write or wrote the perfect paper for him but he was caught using the paper dishonestly and he was removed from school because of it.

Writers should care about more than just the money. My previous clients always appreciated the small personal touches I developed with them and caring about how the paper was used once I gave it to them was one reason they trusted me and they kept coming back for my services.

That is one of the reasons why I started my crusade of helping students learn how to properly hire an academic writer, even though I no longer work in the business myself.

So let me get this straight, it is unlawful to have someone write my total essay without any input from me, but a collaboration is acceptable? Would that be considered along the same lines as hiring a ghost writer then? For example, Prince Harry provided interviews and information to J.R. Moehringer so the latter could write his book for him with the prince stepping in after the work was completed just so he can edit or add more information to the book. In the academic writing world, would such a set up meet academic honesty requirements and therefore circumvent the law?

I personally know of a case where a freelance writer actually followed through on his threat to blackmail a student. The student was brought up on academic dishonesty charges by his professor based on the in-text citations used in the paper the student submitted. The question of integrity came up because of the cited sources, which were completely referenced in the email to the school / professor. It should be obvious that the student refused to pay the blackmailer which is why he followed through on the threat.

Unfortunately for the blackmailer, he was not able to ruin the student's future because he did not use the actual paper he paid the writer to come up with. He only used the references in a paper that he wrote himself. He admitted to the inquiry board that he did pay for a guide paper to be developed for him and that he used the citations that were provided in that guide. He showed the guide paper as part of his evidence, asking the committee members to compare the guide paper with the paper he actually submitted, and was graded on.

The difference between the two papers were so great that he was cleared of charges and allowed to keep his grade for the course in question and student slot at the university. This is the reason why I keep saying the students should not submit the essay they paid for as is. Changing it by at least 75% could spell the difference between graduating and expulsion for the student.

The definition of the best writing service will vary per student. There is no single way to assess any essay company nor freelancer. A student can only have a pre and post work assessment of the service or writer. The first assessment will be based, as Cite mentioned, on the needs of the student and the second assessment will depend upon the applicability of the work provided and the need for revisions. It is never about the lowest price per page, turn around time, or ability of the writer to write based on multiple topics. The educational background, as proven by the writer is one of the major considerations in this case, along with his ability to follow writing instructions and provide the relevant paper. Beyond that will be the personal considerations of the student that he will attach to his personal satisfaction. Add everything up and the total will be the sum of the best writing service a student can find.

Regardless, I feel that these website threads should be taken offline since it no longer serves a purpose. What is the use of discussing a website url that no longer connects to the original service the domain name was intended for?
