I would not trust a company that brags about how they assign hundreds of deadlines to their overworked and underpaid writers pool. Most specially when they say the poor slaves never miss a deadline. The writer's are not Kryptonian. They are not capable of churning out hundreds of perfect pages per hour. This superhuman claim is one exaggeration that should not be missed and should instead, be seen as a negative by the potential client. If they say you need not worry about missing a deadline, you should do the exact opposite because the only aim of the company, is to collect a membership fee from you for one of their "elite" writing services. Do not fall for it.

The original url as posted here does remain offline at this point. However, I have heard rumors that the company has merged its system and writers pool with another company. That move has allowed it to retain most of its writers and also given it a fresh start as an affiliated writing company. It will be best for the students to err on the side of caution when looking for a writing company to work with. The poor student might end up with the umbrella company without knowing it. Do not bother to ask if the company you are interested in is an affiliate. None of these companies will admit it or give a straight answer when asked that question.

If a student has already done all of the work required to complete a paper and the professor sent it back based on the technicality of a word count, I see no reason for the student to hire an academic writer to fix the problem. The academic writer will just mess up all of the work that the student has already completed, leaving the student to do the work himself in the end. He will lose out on the unnecessary expense and also, lose his patience with a writer who does not know that all he has to do is compress a paragraph here and there to meet the word count as provided. This is the homestretch for the student, it is not the time to get lazy. Do the word count revision yourself, it is simple enough for the original writer to do, but could pose a problem for the unfamiliar writer if assigned to him for word count reduction.

What they did is called a "bait and switch" wherein they provide you with a good work sample to get you to close the open order with them, then they allow any writer in their pool to take the order regardless of his writing level. That is why the quality suddenly changed from good to bad.

If I were you, I would file a complaint regarding their services at complaintsboard.com. This complaints board has helped resolve several payment disputes involving this company in the past. Additionally, it appears that this is not a reliable writing company at all. Had you done your due diligence and done a domain name search using any search engine, you should have come across all of the complaints that accompany the use of this service provider.

File your case with the complaints board while it is still early and you still stand a good chance of getting a refund using a mediator (mediator = complaintsboard.com)

There is no assurance that a student will come across a legitimate or illegitimate freelancer or company at this forum. It is difficult to take their word for it since I learned that everything at this forum is for sale. For a monthly fee, they will help a company or a direct hire writer create a legitimate image by saying they "vetted" the company or independent writer.

Consider these Featured and Highlighted freelancer writers and companies at the same level as Twitter Blue at this point. They pay a monthly fee for the consideration perk therefore they are legitimate and verified in the eyes of the company runners. Nothing more, nothing less. Pay for play.

Do your own investigation before hiring company or anybody here or at other sites. It is just good housekeeping on your part. Know the person or company comfortably before you hire it / him/ her. Your safety and scam avoidance are in your hands.

All of the opinions stated in this thread should be considered by the readers as a warning sign or opinion to consider not only for the company being mentioned, but for other companies they may be thinking of hiring as well. I say this because the company seems to no longer be a problem for students because, you guessed it, the company is no longer in existence under this url. Once again, this is an example of the sloppy work the moderators of this forum are doing. Why doesn't anybody check for the validity of the url's presented here so that students and posters alike do not waste time dealing with dead links? What service does that actually do for the people participating at this forum? It cannot even be considered advertising since the site is dead already.

Essay Services / You Want a Writer? [3]

The company is misrepresenting itself as being UK based. Their unfamiliarity with the anti essay mill law is evidence of that. They do not realize that UK writing companies cannot offer blanket services across the UK anymore. There are exceptions to this rule.

The way this post was written also betrays the fact that none of their writers are UK educated or UK based. There are other truly reliable UK writing companies out there for hire. I suggest students look for such writing companies instead.

Any student who actually takes the time to peruse these websites in consideration of hiring them will find several problem points immediately which could dissuade them from doing so. The language used alone tells us that the companies are not located in the first world, which means their writers are third world ESL writers. The fact that they do not consider the new anti-essay writing mill rules of the UK when bragging about their assured grade point averages or the writing skill of their writers means they are not located in the UK as they claim. Finally, the shady way they reference their hiring process for writers tells us that they cannot be trusted to deliver a paper that a student could actually use. The risk of being scammed and blackmailed is even higher for a UK based student if you ask me.

The company url is connected to 51 different / other urls so expect the company to be using the same server and writer's pool for each differently named online writing company. The number of aliases the company goes by makes me wonder if there is no dark aspect to the way the business is run. Anyway, I would not give too much stock to the way that they sell their multi-subject focus writers. Their writers supposedly can write about any topic under the sun and can even whip out a dissertation or two within a week. That is a vote of no confidence from me, not that it matters. Remember, writing experience and learning through the writing job is not the same as actually taking the course, learning the lessons, applying the lessons, and graduating with a certification that you really know about a specific field.

The point is, their writers are not really specialized so they cannot be expected to whip out exceptional papers of any sort. The client will not fail, but he will not get stellar grades either. Let's not even get started on the possibility of needing numerous revisions because the writer is not really knowledgable about any topic in particular. Simply reading their website raises several red flags already that should make one distrust the service.

It appears that the free sample papers available at the site have been written by their existing pool of writers. That means, the student can pick a sample paper, read through it as if considering hiring the writer, and base his hiring choice on the way the sample paper was written. This is something that I would advise students to consider very well since it will show him/her if the writer meets his criteria in terms of writing skill, knowledge of the topic, and other considerations. The writer has the option to hire the writer whose sample work he reviewed or, if he wants to use the sample paper to develop his own paper. I see nothing wrong with either choice. The student is given the opportunity to make an educated decision in this case, which I hope he decides to take. Use the service you feel is best for you, based on the actual writer skills that will be offered to you through the sample essay.

Could this company be related to Assignment Writers somehow? Maybe a new url for a bum company? The reason I ask is because the two companies share a server location in the middle of the Cheney Reservoir in the United States. Additionally, the company has not been in business for 25 years. This domain name has only been in full function for the past 19 years. Unless, they used a different url prior to the use of this more well - known company name? Just sharing my thoughts about the possible connection between these 2 suspicious companies, I'll let the students come to their own conclusions.

It appears that both websites have a problem at the moment. SupremeDissertation is having server connection issues. Which leads me to believe that they forgot to pay the rent on their server so the server administrator took the site offline until he gets paid. The other site, SupremeWriting, is currently a domain available for sale through GoDaddy. It is safe to say that the 2 companies are directly related based on the word formatting of the company names alone. The second site was allowed to go offline perhaps in favor of the first site, which they are also in the process of releasing from their control at the moment. Since both sites are effectively out of commission, I think further discussing them as if they are still a threat to student services is useless.

I am not sure if the others at this forum have the same experience as I do when trying to access this site. I get through the handshake, the anchor page seems to be loading, then -- nothing. No anchor page, no error message, nothing that would tell me what is going on with this company site. Is it up or down? Is it having connection or loading issues? Is it an expired domain? What? Well, I guess that I should consider this a good thing. For each student that does not successfully access this page, there is a student who has been saved the bother of dealing with what is obviously a problematic and untrustworthy writing company.

The company allowed you to pick a writer based upon his uploaded credentials. There was a roster of equally qualified writers for you to choose from, as per the order requirements. You were even allowed to order a one page test for free from your chosen writer. It sounds more to me like you did not care to choose the best option based upon knowledge and writing skill. You chose a writer based upon your budget and cost per page. In such a case, you created your own problems with the order, not the other way around.

Those drop down choice menus mean nothing. "Best available writer" is only in that form for the peace of mind of the client. It does not mean the student will actually get a good writer. It is still going into the Wild West known as the "writer server" where the gung-ho writer who think he can write the paper based upon their understanding of the instructions and his ready access to materials will take the paper. Even if he realizes later on that he is in over his head, he is not going to reassign that order because he is a greedy money grabber.

The client should only hire a writer who can actually interview the pass both an oral and written English interview, he should be able to see writing samples (if available), and the writer should prove that he has advanced knowledge of the topic provided via sample sections of previously completed work that is somewhat related to the topic to the client. Do not hire a writer directly from a company unless these minimum background check requirements can be met by the company assessment process. If not, then look for a freelance academic writer instead. Any client can easily perform these checks in the open hire manner.

Essay Services / researchwritersinc.com review~ [5]

It will be difficult to review an essay writing company that no longer exists either in EssayDirectory or via the url. When I accessed the page, I was led to a placeholder written totally in Chinese. Which leads me to believe that the company was probably Chinese owned since that part of the world represented a minute section of the academic writing industry. They helped mostly fellow Chinese (students) who need help in developing their academic papers since their grasp of the English language was never that good in the first place. Needless to say, we should be thankful that this company is no longer in existence because it could not have done a good job on any paper for any student, not even a Chinese student for obvious reasons.

There is no sense in charging clients for an "original" paper if they cannot submit it for a grade. That is what the student is thinking. Then again, the student may realize that the original paper was not written to be used as is. Some companies and freelances clearly indicate that in their TOS.

A student can use the paper only if he makes changes to the content. By changes, I mean, he rewrites the paper using the given information in the paid paper. It cannot contain a semblance of the original writing except for the sources, since students could end up using the same sources for the paper in some instances. It is difficult to prove plagiarism based on sources alone.

By not submitting the original paper they paid for, the student also manages to avoid the pitfalls of future blackmail from any writer of bad intent.

It appears that the OP did not pursue this interest. Perhaps he got a better job offer during the time that he was considering becoming an academic writer. Too bad. I believe he had the potential to actually help the UK based students even from his home country since he was UK educated and therefore, capable of passing on papers that would be on the proper academic level as the student needs.

Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. On my part, I would like to further let to you know that I appreciate the time you have taken and continue to take to educate me (us) on the differences between US and UK academic writers. I will admit I was not knowledgable about that before but I am now taking pains to ensure that my response to students carry that separation so as not to make it appear that writers from both sides of the pond are equally skilled when it comes to addressing specific tasks per country.

Essay Services / Assignment writers are helpful? [5]

Assign WriterI have my suspicions about the validity of this website. Their servers are located in the middle of the Cheney Reservoir in the United States. Which means the physical address for this company is fictitious. What else could be fictitious about it? The writing staff?

The actual education that their writers completed? The location of their writing staff? Their ability to properly complete an order?

The sincerity of the people running the company? I would deal with this people very carefully. The location of their server alone reeks of a potential scam.

Imagine, they have over 4500 PhD level writers willing to work on advanced, college level, or lower papers for a student. They do not have writers with ordinary college degrees. Yet, their prices are rock bottom. They want to help Canadian students using servers based on America. There is not an ounce of truth being said on their website as far as I am concerned.

Stop dealing with the blackmailer. You have done everything right to prove that the paper is a fake and unsolicited. Even the previous emails sent back and forth prove you were not serious about the deal. Be upfront with your school and tell them you had no intention of hiring a writer and your submitted work proves that. Your mistake was sending him $20 but if you can prove the transfer was not for services rendered then you should be safe.

The best way to explain this to a clueless student is this; "You will always pay more for a PhD level paper!" So why spend unnecessarily for a single page that is not suited to your needs. No, the professor will not appreciate the level of writing since it appears that the student grew a brain overnight. That is not how it works. College level writing will always be different and cheaper than a masters or PhD level paper, regardless of page count.

Starting a new career of any sort can be nerve wracking for anyone. It requires one to swallow his pride and ask for jobs (sometimes providing the work for free) just to prove himself. Do not go to that extent though. Instead, work the job market for potential opportunities. Never forget to mention you are a writer when in the presence of others. Do not focus on just academic papers. Say you are a generalized writer that way you open yourself up to more opportunities in the creative writing, advertising, and ghost writing field as well. Networking is key in this instance. Make sure to network at book readings, online chat groups and forums, among others. Remember your digital calling card. Once scanned it should list your work description as well. You never know when one digital card exchange can bring you a work opportunity.

Signing up at writing websites are no longer the best way to get employed in this business. Anybody interested in an academic writing career can very well just sign up at other employment websites where clients can directly contact the writer and discuss the project, terms, and payment schedules. Yes, drawing up a unique refund policy for the project can also be done at these sites. I have heard that some writers do achieve a far more regular income using the project sites and they earn far more than they would have earned at a writing company. It is a bit difficult to get projects there though since the clients look for evidence of relevant education and professional experience (whenever possible) so writer's who are looking for a break should not go for the technical and high priced projects at once. Establish a profile first using simple and low cost projects. Afterall, it is the regularity of the work that will dictate the income, so more low priced projects can eventually bring in more income than single high priced projects.

Interesting to note that #26 is another opportunistic instance of self-promotion

He doesn't care about relevant discussion anymore. He will discuss what he wants, whenever he wants, in whichever thread he wants because he has been spoiled by the mods at this forum. They let him pretend that he owns this forum and we owe him the favor of being allowed to post here. He is delusional at this point and I will no longer defend myself against him since he understands no reason nor real logic anymore.

I refuse to humor him any longer and will ignore his threads going forward since I know that he will always be spouting lies, self-promotion, and also, painting himself into a corner where he will eventually have to retract or adjust his statements anyway. It is best to ignore him and his statements. I am here to protect the students and that is all I will focus on doing. He can do whatever he wants. The students have seen through his deceptions and lies by now.

Actually, the past few years have seen the demise of formerly popular and well patronized writing companies due to the rise in popularity of freelance writers. I beleive that this is because students have found more networking avenues that help them reach out directly to the writer and negotiate with them. More and more students are now using freelancers while companies struggle to gain student clients due to the problems associated with writing company use. It just simpler to negotiate directly with the writer as opposed to passing through the company rep every time the client needs to contact the writer.

While there are several offline url's listed in the original post, several of them have gone offline while the others are either no longer existing (but with an active url), or existing with negative client reviews. What I did notice is that the names of the companies and the url's appear to all be related and could very well be leading to the same company / server every single time. Companies that exist with more than one working url is normally a scam and should be avoided as best as possible. They are not the kind of companies that would be honest about writer training, educational background, or actual writing skills. Try to find some other company to work with instead.

The reliable independent writers are found there.

I would take that statement with a grain of salt. These independently listed writers are not neccesarily reliable, nor can they be considered truly vetted since they pay for their ad placement at this forum. The more services they sign up for, the better their advertisement positioning. Properly interviewing the writer, as if he were applying for a job with you, rather than you looking for a writer and asking them if they are capable of writing a paper or not is the incorrect way of going about this. Have him write a short portion of the paper you are interested in placing with the writer. See if he can meet your needs. Remember that US writers will be writing in a far different manner from a UK educated writer so if you are in the UK, ensure that the writer is up to the writing standards of the UK, even if he is US based. Test the writer well because you are the one who will pay with your grades later on if he fails to deliver. Hire a writer who passes your writing criteria and requirements. Do not be afraid to ask questions and test the writer. Make sure you are hiring a writer worth the money you will be paying.

If an ESL writer can find a company that is willing to pay him $4 per page, then he should consider himself lucky. The rate for ESL writers per page these days are far lower than that and yes, penalties will still apply. I do not believe ESL writers should aim too high when it comes to their cost per page. If they can get $5 per page, then he should be satisfied with it. There are a lot going against an ESL writer these days in terms of work qualifications, actual writing skills, and delivering client satisfaction. Get what you can and accept it. Do not look for higher salary at this point. Even the essay writing companies are caught up in inflation problems with regards to their businesses. They are fighting for survival too.

It is too bad that this thread got hijacked in content towards the end. It was a very promising idea that the OP had regarding starting his company. I had hoped to read that he had eventually legally registered his company in the UK and that he hired only UK based writers since he was UK educated himself. I believe that integrity and client satisfaction will also come from the client knowing that the company is legal in all ways and means and that they hire writers that are truly familiar with their work as based on UK educational and writing rules. There are very few companies that seem to do that these days. I wonder what happened to him and his ideas.

@a1writer Thanks for the information. I was able to track their address to an actual physical office space rental building but the name of the essay company is not listed as a tenant. I wonder if their web name is different from the physical office? There are 2 probable offices related to the company. One could be Opus Virtual Offices (self-explanatory) or Rochester Educational Foundation. The latter is supposed to be a registered foundation though so that may not be it. Hmm... The virtual office space is then the most likely place the site is (virtually) located in.

On another note, I tried the url again while I was typing this message and the site loaded without a problem this time. I wonder if it is my browser that is the problem. DDG has been known to block sites that it deems inappropriate without informing the user. I will try using FF for a period of time to test out my suspicion. Thanks again for the lead.

The url does still lead to a tarot reading company. Further investigations into the url indicate that the name was first registered 23 years ago. While the historical use of the domain name cannot be found, it is quite possible that the name was previously used by a 3rd world writing company. Afterall, this post would not come to exist if the writing company was never represented on the internet. It probably just did not last long in the business and, upon sale of the domain name, it ended up being used by a Chicago based tarot reading company.

Misdirected Request
The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection.

I have no idea what this means. I just know that this message will prevent the company from running further cons on the students who would otherwise have been victimized by the people that ran the company.

The company servers are actually located in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. It is not located in the UK at all. It is not even located in a dominion or commonwealth republic. It is situated in a non-UK related country. Now, while I did say that I admire how they hire their writers, and knowing that the servers are at least located in Europe, I cannot help but continue to wonder about the actual location of the company. While their writer pairing process for orders is admirable, these do not prove that the company is actually based in the UK and that it is run as a legitimate physically based in the UK business.

They're threatening to send a legal notice and they told me that I'll have to hire a lawyer and that I'll be sent to prison for a few years.

Wow! They were just spouting words that they hoped would scare the OP enough to not go through with the refund process. They do not even understand that even when academic dishonesty is proven, the worst case scenario is that the student will be expelled and blacklisted from partner universities and colleges. There is no prison term attached to using academic writing services.

Well, that sentence just caught my eye so I felt a need to say something about it. What I actually want to say in this case is that the company received its just punishment since it is now no longer in existence. I guess their threatening ways did not work among the students and the refund demands just piled up to an unimaginable scale, leading to bankruptcy. A possible scenario since the company never had a good academic writing image in the first place.

There are huge differences between the 2 sites when it comes to refriend policies. The first company clearly spells out what their acceptable refund scenarios are and how to go about it. The second company does not specify any refund policies at all.

Another reason why I would be more comfortable hiring the former company would be their writer qualifications. There is an 8 step hiring process starting with the writer being UK educated. As with a site I previously reviewed, the UK trained writers at this current company are degree and work experienced limited. In other words, a writer with an irrelevant degree will never be assigned to a course he has no relevant studies in. They would do it only if the client approves such an assignment though. I sincerely doubt a responsible student would agree to such an arrangement though.

I am beginning to understand what @a1writer keeps repeating here about why UK writing companies will never allow a US educated writer to work on papers. Their writer's background, hiring process, and order + writer assessment procedure simply will not allow it. Writers in the UK do not just take orders from a server. The writer is paired up with an order based on the client needs and instructions. Now I get it ...

The first website made my eyes hurt just reading the first half of their blurb. I have never read such a badly worded, punctuation error riddled, waste of server space in my life. Wait ! I take that back ! I lose a few brain cells every time I read an obviously 3rd rate writing company website. How these companies manage to con students into hiring their services is beyond me. I understand and ESL student would most likely hire the company but, I would like to believe that the grammar of the student should have improved over time staying in the UK or the US for him to know when a company has mangled the English language. Why hire such a company?

At least the second company went out of business. However, the domain name still proves to be active so it must be a fairly recent company fold up. GoDaddy is trying to resell the name for which, I believe, there are no takers since the company name is synonymous with bad service. It is not a name you want your new company to be associated with.

While the company does not provide any information regarding the location of their main office and worldwide branches. There are several considerations that might make it a reputable company.

Firstly, they specialize in countries that (appears to me) use the UK grading system. Secondly, their writers publish their university majors and specialize only in those majors They do not use multi expertise writers. Writers work on their educational specializations only. The same applies to their Phd writers. Finally, They have clear revision and refund policies in easy access and reference form.

So what is suspicious?

They have writers educated worldwide. Does that include ESL writers? How can we then rely on the claim that they have highly trained writing specialists? Do they really work only based on their educational specializations?

The domain name was listed a little over 2 years ago, but the website claims it has been existing since 2010. Under what name? Was there a name change? Why?

These are just some of my observations. It is up to the student to do the rest of the work.

A majority of the essay writing companies have their refund basis clearly spelled out for potential clients either through their FAQ page or, as a stand alone page on the site. Those that do not have it posted usually have knowledgable client assistants who can explain the refund process beforehand. Remember to take a screenshot of the conversation for future use (if needed).

This information should always be clear to the client before placing the order to ensure his grounds for and right to a refund. Some companies try to confuse the client about this when a refund is filed so it is important to keep a copy of the refund rules. Additional refund questions or clarifications can be made lbased on the FAQ or refund page information.
