Just reviewing Academic Sciences which is one of the companies advertised at the top of the screen.

I was not happy with the quality whatsoever, the have an english address which seemed legit. However, they do not like giving refunds.

The lady who runs it comes across as very nice and polite while you've paid etc but when you mention refund she gets very defensive. She promised an English MBA student would write the paper and what I received read as if it was a GCSE student: full of errors and sentence structure issues.

As well as the content being incredibly general. I would not recommend it too anyone as the quality is bad, its pricey and I have a feeling they will do anything to keep there money.

(FTR I am not a competitor, this is my first and only post. I aim to review this website that I have used and I am not trying to suggest any others)

I have done a review of this website. Its not a scam but the paper content is poor, full of errors and half of the sentences do not make sense and they say you can go through the critiquing service but this would only work if you have a spare year and they are not prepared to re-write any part of it, even if they havnt followed your original requirements. The issue that we have is that after a period of time had passed we simple got an email stating you were not happy and wanted a refund. No company will just say, "oh OK, here you go", I am afraid that is not how it works. The work was written by a PhD level writer. I am sorry if you found spelling mistakes but as was offered, this can be rectified and we have offered to put this right, which you do not seem willing to do. Even a small claims court would ask that we tried to put it right before settling a claim.

Lee, you're a piece of trash for immediately posting the person's name and email address, especially since you targeted the WRONG person! I guess that's what can happen when you have so many unhappy customers at once.

We received an email immediately from the exact same client asking us not to use his name on a public forum, so we know that we got it right, even if morally it was below the belt... tit for tat and all. I think that using individuals personal names on here is unfair either way, and I think that the fact the client was happy to post individuals names should be bought to attention.

Paypal looked into this matter and ruled in favour of Academic Sciences so I feel this post is purely because the client is unhappy he did not receive a refund. As for having many unhappy customers? We don't, that's how we knew immediately who had posted this.

We could argue about this all day, but at the end of the day, we have done everything we felt that we should, and the client is still unhappy. No company will ever have 100% happy customers, it just doesn't happen.

That's a load of garbage. PayPal "ruled in your favor" strictly because PayPal does not provide buyer protection for virtual goods.

Some customers have the habit of requesting refunds after they have received work without justifiable reasons. They download perfect essays only to claim that they have to cancel for poor quality. Only legitimate Companies consider the writer before rushing to refund the customer. If you have no money, simply stay away.

I think you guys are talking about academicsciences.co.uk[DND*]. I have had three jobs done from this company, when I placed the orders , the lady was being very nice at that time. But when I got my results 2 essays were not marked, as the work which was submitted to me was totally irrelevant. When I contacted for the complaint she became so harsh and called me stupid and dumb...is this the way to treat clients . I paid more than £800 for these two works but at the end lost most of the money and time.....:(

Uh, the two are related. In this business, the company that runs the scam, has to tell a mountain of lies to make their scam seem believable. That is why there is no difference between the scammer and the liar in this case. They lie so they can scam the clients and they scam based on their lies. See the relationship? So there is no difference between the two at all. Rather, they exist in a symbiotic form so that the crime can keep repeating its vicious cycle.

The reason I ask is because the services they offer are in direct defiance of the UK writing laws. Perhaps they are in one of those areas that, as I recall, may not be covered by the law? You seem to have indicated before that the law covers only specifics areas of the UK. Did I remember that right?

The law covers England in which the county of Hampshire is situated.
I have written to this company and will update you when/if I get a response.

It sounds to me like they are in the process of shutting down both their physical and online presence. There is a high probabity that they were caught in violation of the law in England and were forcibly shut down by law. Not wanting to affect their business name, which they no doubt would try to sell, they will make it appear that the office is merely reorganizing at this point. I would really love to find out what is really going with the company. I would love to see one of the UK violators really get caught and be made to pay for their crime which, contrary to their opinion, is not a victimless crime.
