Looking for some advice regarding my order from best essay help

Ok, so I just paid $300 to bestessayhelp.com to write a paper for me. I have never done anything like this, but have experienced a death in the family and haven't had the time to get my work done. The paper is due in a week, should I be pulling all-nighters and call my credit card company to cancel the charges? I am completely stressed out at what I am reading here!

I have no firsthand knowledge of this company, but their prices seem a little low...this is a cause for concern. Also, the "$45" in savings that they advertise on their homepage is a load of bulls-i*--no legitimate companies (and very few scam companies) charge extra for a reference page or revisions. Most legitimate companies (perhaps all--I can't swear to that, though), will NEVER provide a title page, for any fee, because this makes it clear that they expect you to use the work as your own, which is illegal.

I'm sure WB has more info on this company, but spending $300 on your first order with them would definitely be a cause for concern. Unfortunately, you won't really be able to demand a refund or start a chargeback until after your deadline has passed--until you have evidence that you were scammed (failure to deliver, delivery of plagiarized work, delivery of complete crap, etc) no credit card company will reverse the charges.

I know this doesn't help you now, but in the future you should start with very small orders and deadlines much sooner than when you actually need the example paper. That way you'll know sooner if you made a bad choice, have more time to pursue other options, and risk less of your money overall. Find a good company/writer using small orders, and stick with them for the big ones.

Is there a reputable company/person whom you would recommend? I am going to contact the company and cancel my order. Then I am going to contact PayPal and let them know the order has been cancelled and not to pay.

recommendations aren't really allowed here--they are seen as advertisements and are more often than not supplied by representatives from shady companies posing as customers.

So, how would I go about finding a reputable company, or an individual? It seems apparent that one cannot trust the internet.

you are lucky because for others such realizations come too late in the day. Imagine placing an order and an hour to your deadline, you receive a Wikipedia article-complete with pictures and links contained in the article and you are told that that is your money's worth. You will be left wondering whether to go after your money or first work on something you can hand in to your prof. Luckily, you have a bit of time in your hands to fix the problems.

I have used 2 sites, and both have charged considerably more than this. Half the time the research I was paying for was of the quality you would expect from paying next to nothing.

I wouldn't risk this at all.

They can even charge $100 a page, but they would never give the writer anything more than $8/page, so what we end up with is a huge disconnect between the writer's perceived obligations and the client's expectations. What if the client, having found service not commensurate with the fee paid decides to launch a complaint? The writer is fined and the client will probably be asked to shut up or go to hell.

This company has found a way to make use of the Russia-Ukraine war for their personal gain. They now have a donate directly to Ukraine button popping up on their homepage once you access it. As a matter of financial security and data privacy, do not click on the button. Do not make a donation because it is definitely not going to the Ukrainian war efforts. It will however, go to lining the pockets of the now admittedly Ukrainian owner of the company. If you want to donate to the war efforts, do so through other, truly legitimate and above board channels. Never do it through a private entity. Just imagine, if they can lie about war donations, what else will they do once they receive your money as payment for yet to be delivered work?
