I have ordered a case analysis at the Masters' level from essay acadamia. I originally paid for a one day rush but received the analysis in 2 days as the writer asked for an extension. However when the analysis came back it was not close to what i had asked. It is important to note that throughout the process i was constantly in contact with the writer and telling him how it should be done.

Essay Academia ComplaintI asked for a revision but after another 24 hrs, the same paper was sent to me as revised. As the deadline was past and no more time, i contacted customer support with a complaint that was referred to the quality support department and received the following email:

"Please find the reply from our Quality Assurance Team-
We are ready to pay back your money paid for the essay, which
you claim to be low quality and late submission. But, we have a refund policy that
we can refund your money if and only if the paper is caught for plagiarism,
which can be authentically proved in the contents of the paper. In no other
case, we are obliged to refund. For more details, please read

Thanks for understanding and patience

What does this mean?

If you really can't tell what it means, you shouldn't be in college at any level.

It means you gave your money to a well known scam company.

Scam companies are multiplying these days. Be careful before placing an order. Spend some time in simple research beforehand rather than get under stress afterward. I feel sorry for you.

You are sunk buddy. First of all, how did you get into an American or UK university without having any English comprehension skills? That email is so self explanatory even an imbecile can understand it. Next, why didn't you read the fine print of the contract before signing up? Some students truly take the cake, you are one of them. Since the company has a no-refund policy, then that email means just that. You are not going to get your money back. You will never see that money again. I bet that you never did right?

Anyway, this is the perfect example of a student who did not vet the writing company before hiring the services. There should have been an explanation given to the student regarding the refund policy either within the sign-up sheet, the FAQ of the website, or during the chat with the company representative. It should have occurred to the student to ask that question because that relates to the cost of the paper in the end. Having a no-refund policy for shabby work is dubious. Companies that are on the level always have a tiered refund policy in place. Individual writers may or may not have a refund policy. So always ask about it before agreeing to hire the service.

This

We are ready to pay back your money paid for the essay, which you claim to be low quality and late submission.

is completely inconsistent with this:

But, we have a refund policy that we can refund your money if and only if the paper is caught for plagiarism

Further, that policy suggests that they wouldn't issue a refund even for a blown deadline.

The company's horrid writing on the company's website should have been enough of a warning for the OP to have never ordered to begin with. That's too little too late and there's nothing that can be done. The OP placed and proceeded with an order where the TOS is clear on refunds.

The student should have looked into the refund policy first, then considered hiring the company second. In my case, whenever a student seems inclined to hire my services or the services of my writers, I make them read the electronic contract first. I make sure to highlight the refund policy on a separate page and, I ask them to electronically agree to the refund terms. That way, the student has the opportunity to ask additional questions regarding any payment concerns they may have. Students need to learn to investigate first, hire last. That is the only way they can protect themselves from these scams. Not all writers and company owners are like me, who will lead them to the information they need to know about before closing a deal with them. For me, it isn't just about the money. It's about creating a long term working relationship with the student.

This is why it is important to discuss the Terms of Service with the writer or company before placing the order. Get the agreement about the refund policy in writing each and every time, regardless of how often you have used the writer or the company for your academic work. You never know when the policies change and you will be left holding the bag. The refund terms must be easily understandable by the student and cover all possible scenarios for a refund, including act of nature and God (I'm exaggerating a bit here). Don't just agree to hire a service and pay. Make sure your rights as the client are protected first.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

It is difficult for us students to hold these writing companies accountable for their actions based upon their terms of service. Most of them just put that on their website to make it appear like they are easy to talk to. I have had classmates who lost thousands of dollars to these scam companies. They are very fond of using the bait and switch game on us students. Which is why I try not to use a writing company when I absolutely have to outsource my papers. I do not trust these published TOS since we all know that these writing companies are not even legitimate businesses in the countries where they claim to be located. So they are not bound by any law to comply with their published TOS.
