The company does not pay the writer in this case. They pay the person who provides the best response to the question of the student. It is like a bidding war. The item up for grabs? Whoever delivers the most believable answer to the most lost student out there. They make their money hoping that the gullible student will pick the answer that they think is correct.
Even when they hire someone to work out the problem for them, they cannot be sure that they will be getting the right answer. Not until they get their actual grade for the paper. I would not advise any student to take such a risk. There is just too much involved in terms of grades that make hiring this company risky.
This is not an academic writing service as far as I can tell. It appears to be more of an academic assistance site where students can go if they need additional help with their classes.
There is nothing on the site to indicate that they will do anything more than guide the learning process of the student. It is all about helping them understand their lessons through tutoring or work guidance. So no, I do not think it is a scam at this point. It is just a study aid site.
