Does anyone know anything about Asher Consulting, LLC? Here is their website: qualitativeresearch.org
I've not been able to find any reviews at all about them. I am looking for someone to consult/aid me with qualitative analysis (phenomenology) of my dissertation, and I wondered if this was a good, reputable company to go to. If they aren't, any one have any references/suggestions?

Thanks for your help! :-)

ConsultThe webcopy on the website is somewhat fishy with a few gaps in the organization of the ideas that talk about different types of research areas and the like.

Overall, however, it may be stated that whoever wrote the webcopy did some good background work.

Next. This is quite apparent to note that the owner of the website is trying to conceal their identity. No physical address, no contact information, little reference to 'who we are', and broken links.

There is only one photograph of Asher Beckwitt, Ph.D., the CEO of the company.

However, to a sad note, this photograph originally belongs to a woman with a different name.

The photo has been stolen from her LinkedIn profile.

My digging reveals that there are a number of subterranean links connected to this company. The decision is yours.

Hi MeoKhan, Thanks for your research about this company; I really appreciate it. So it seems there are some possible red flags...hmmm. I wonder if perhaps the picture of Asher E. Beckwitt, Ph.D. could actually be hers, but someone stole it from her? I wonder about this because I found this same picture attached to her name under the faculty listing of Northcentral University: ncu.edu/the-graduate-school

What do you think? Thanks again! :-)

There are a number of profiles with the same photo tucked under different but similar sounding names.

I am 100% sure that the person is a real human being and one of the profiles may be genuine. :-)

However, I don't think that's worth it. What matters is I am quite sure the website has constructed a fake profile. You should go ahead and try them and share your experience with us. We may be dealing with a genuine company. Who knows!

After changing hands several times, the company eventually went bankrupt. They have shut down their operations totally and have put up their domain name for sale. The company was plagued by problems from the very start. They could not get any decent writers on staff, nor could they control the amount of revision requests and chargeback procedures brought upon them. The partners decided to cut their losses, selling their server and other properties to get whatever they could from their investment. These were sold at a loss for the most part, meaning the partners did not really get a decent ROI from the business.

I wonder if this is the same company that is now existing as a research firm on LinkedIn? It sounds similar to the previously described company. It could be highly possible. Websites seem to be a thing of the past for businesses that rely mostly on networking and word of mouth for its existence. The company seems to be doing well on LinkedIn. No bad reviews. So maybe they decided to go legit since LinkedIn does take action when a company or person is proven to be a scam. They need to keep their name clean and their reviews positive.
