Best and Legit Essay Writing Sites?

djnick  2 | 9

i know this will probably lead to spamming but i still havent been able to find any legit essay writing sites. When i think i found a site that is legit i manage to pull up some dirt on them through a forum or newsgroup. is there anything anyone can recommend? you dont have to mention the url just the name or something, i am sick and tired of the 99% scam sites. The only positive reactions I heard was about custompapers.com so far. What's your thoughts?

It depends on what you mean by "legit"...

I think a good and fast customer service is very important. Customer service will usually tell you a lot about the company because you can determine:

1. Promptness in Reply to Your Questions

For me waiting more than 24 hours is not acceptable. Assuming the company has many clients, it still takes a couple of minutes to write and send a reply so if the company is serious and "legit," they should reply quick. Some companies will even answer you on Saturday evening while others don't work at weekends.

2. The Quality of the Answer(s)

Before ordering anything from an essay writing company I send an email to their support with a question that requires at least a few sentences to answer. For example, "How long have you been in the writing business and how can I be assured you will not plagiarize or resell my paper?". Or "To which libraries do you have access to? Would you be able to fax or ship me the sources used in the paper?" The quality of the answer will usually tell me if the customer person is a native English speaker and if they know what they are talking about (sometimes it seems the customer service have no idea what they're doing or how to answer even the simplest questions...). A company that cannot afford a native English speaker customer person is not very likely to hire English native writers either.

Here are some other tips:

- Ask what methods of payment they accept; if they only accept 2checkout or similar, it's not usually a good sign. I tend to think more legit companies accept most or all of these: credit cards, paypal/e-gold, bank transfer, money order, western union. If you choose to pay by bank transfer you will know the location of the bank too.

- Look at their website - does it look professional; is the web copy written well, does it answer at least some of most common questions?

- Is it possible to contact them not only by email, but also by phone, fax, snail mail?

- Can you contact the writer directly? (some affiliate companies may have no idea who will be writing your paper unless you have placed an order; even though it does not disqualify them, it's always better to know you or at least the company can contact the writer should there be any problems with your paper)

- When ordering a big paper (let's say 50 pages or more), ask them to provide some background of the writer who will be writing your paper and the writer's overview on your topic. This might help you determine if the writer is at least familiar with the subject

As far as "dirt on some sites through a forum or newsgroup" is concerned, the information you may find on forums or newsgroups is quite often misleading. I think some competing companies may actually pretend to be an "unsatisfied client" in order to defame another company.

As I wrote above, you need to do your own research before you select a "legit" writing company. Good luck!

brat03 your guidelines are a good reference, however i still have found many scam sites that have these qualities. A well made site can easily trick someone into thinking its legit, but i have done whois and called numbers based in us, and they are disconnect, and the registrars are from ppl in foreign countries. Thats why im asking for sites that people have actually used and know arent shady, becuase word of mouth is better than what any search can give you

I don't think advertising sites here on the forum is permitted...

You write: "A well made site can easily trick someone into thinking its legit" but what I suggest is to actually contact the site's support in advance and ask a specific question/s. You are right - the look of the site doesn't tell everything, but contacting people who actually work for the site will tell you a lot....

WOW! Thanks for the tips! I like especially this one:

If you choose to pay by bank transfer you will know the location of the bank too.

I don't think a foreign company can open an account in US bank ;).

Very good! (post #2)

I would add one more point (worked for me every time like a charm):

- Email the writing site's support and tell them you need a 30-page research paper or dissertation within 24 hours. If they accept this offer, run away! :).

Usually only one writer is working on your paper - no matter how long it can be - so if the company claims that their writer could do 30 pages within 24 hours it must be a scam. [I don't think it's even possible to do research and custom-write more than 10 pages a day].

I was surfing the Internet and found this site ukessays.com. When I saw their prices I was like: Wow!! $67 per page! (300 words) - ukessays[DND*]/quote.html

Do you know anyone who has used them? Are their papers written in golden font ? ::))

don't use them at all. you will waste your money and time. when your deadline arrives they just come up with stupid excuses like we can,t cintact the writer we will assign your essay to another writer etc.. the writer couldn't deal with your subject. at least they give you your money back

I have used custompapers.com once.

They did an excellent job, and on time. However, it is very expensive!! A five page paper starts at $135!!
But if you are in a real bind i guess it could really be worth it.

Best CompanyI've used ukessays several times and had no problems except for their being way overpriced. They don't ask for your payment details UNTIL they've assigned a writer and if the writer is late then you get a 10% discount every day they are late (not that they ever have been with my work). They also have a money back guarantee and they guaranteed £1,000 ($1,6000) compensation if any plagiarism is found in the work.

I've also used oxbridgeessays.com and they have also been fine. Not had any problems there and I have used them a couple of times. Again, they don't ask for your money until they have identified a writer.

My top pick American company is custompapers.com - this company has some good writers. GraduateWriter.com may be even better (for UK students at least).

For people considering using essay companies, do check out the companies carefully - there are a lot of companies that claim to be UK or US based but in fact are based in Pakistan / India / Ukraine / Panama / Switzerland etc and use poor quality writers. Some like Essay Relief are famous for being absolutely awful and complete rip-off merchants but there are plenty of others around who like to misrepresent themselves as good companies and have fancy websites to lure in unsuspecting students.

Regardless of where a company is based, try and get as much info as you can about the quality they provide. The best way is to talk to your friends and take a look at work that an essay company has already provided for them; online samples of work could have been written by anyone and they don't guarantee that your work will be of the same standard. Online reviews such as posts like this don't hold much value as you should ALWAYS remember that the person writing the post could be trying to promote their own company or undermine their opposition.

My top pick American company is custompapers.com - this company has some good writers.

I agree with you on that one, I've ordered from them four times now, and each paper was good. One of my assigned writers did make a mistake on one paper, they were quick to fix it within 48 hours.

I used echeat.com several times and they were great. I never recieved a late paper, and only once they called me to ask if they could authorize an additional page since my topic could not be fited onto my requested pages. Price is about $20/page for a standard delivery time.

Mic00, you are a liar. You are shilling for eCheat.

Why is it that in previous posts, you claim to be a WRITER for essaywriters.net?

Hello,

Mic00...It seems that you are a writer for a lousy company that only promises to take students money and never deliver.

I use resources to understand it depth was i have to do. not cheat well why don't you start a legit business....

Charging $3 per page yeah right ....getting re written papers echeat.com...please i would advice students who use it for cheating or not please go elsewhere.....

Everyone is asking for good companies, if you Google you can come up with a good number of them, but the likes of essaywriters.net will be among them, which means if they are bad for writers they should be bad for students too and there is no easy way of telling which ones are legit unless someone tries them. What I personally recommend is essays areon and after trying them, it'll be great if you post your findings here, but I know their work is good.

I have used "Custompapers.com" about 6 different occassions. I can honestly say 5 of 6 papers were "excellent". There was one occassion... I have work with the writer with a couple of revisions... but at the end, it came out great.

I don't like to give my credit card info to an unfamiliar company.... but Custompapers.com uses PayPal... which it is great!!!

I think I pay about $35 per page.. but it is worth the money.

I am very happy with their service... If I need them in the future.. I'd probably used again, instead of trying a new company. Too much at risk with a new company.

Since everyone else is pimping their favorites with reckless abandon, I might as well do the same, if for nothing else but to inform the public of safety risks.

Paper Masters and *********.com are two of the oldest, pioneering, high-quality companies in the industry. They were around before ANY of the other sites I've seen mentioned in this forum. They are both verified by Essayfraud, which means they both have pledged to never hire ESL writers, or risk losing their verified status.

Both companies were started by honest, tax-paying Americans in the United States, which means they are in full compliance with American business laws and consumer protection agencies. Foreign companies like Essay Relief, A1Essays.com, Master Papers, best essays, Superior Papers, etc. don't give a rat's *** about American laws or consumer rights. They know that consumers can't do squat against them after being ripped off because the "companies" are not on American soil. They count on their low prices to reel-in those penny-pinching students, which provides the con-artist criminals with a neverending stream of new VICTIMS.

Anyone who uses one of these low-priced, ESL scam sites deserves to get ripped off. Essay fraud states that anything under $16 per page should be avoided, regardless of where the site "claims" to be located. This is because qualified, American writers do not work for a company unless they get paid AT LEAST $12 per page. And there is no way a site survives by earning only $4 per page. With that $4 per page in profit, they still have to pay all of their business expenses, such as Web hosting, home office equipment, supplies, and the most expensive part--advertising.

If people are too lazy to do an online background check before doing business, they'll suffer the consequences.

I would avoid companies that try to hide their addresses and use graphics instead of text to list their address information and phone/fax numbers. I feel they do it because search engines don't recognize text in graphic and since these companies may own a number of websites, they don't want their clients to look them up by address/phone number in search engines.

BINGO!

Case in point:
A1Essays.com, bestessays.com, SuperiorPapers, etc.

So papermasters.com was first and then there was masterpapers.com? Isn't there some kind of brand recognition issue? Since papermasters.com was established first they should have the right to use masterpapers.com too as it may be somewhat confusing to the customers (especially they are in competiton..).
Amy1978
Dec 08, 2006 | #23
That is also correct. If Paper Masters were to sue, they would win.

What do you expect from those Ukrainian criminals at Master Papers?

By the way, I have some other information about MasterPapers.com. The Ukrainian owner of Master Papers used to be co-owner of Best Essays. However, he had a "falling out" with his Ukrainian partner, so he left Best Essays (just as corrupt) and opened Master Papers.

There is an "online argument" between the two criminals and former partners:

Well, according to my friend, he was able to find an essay writing service that provides tremendous guarantees including Total + 50% refund pay if the order is either late or plagiarized. He said that they will first assess the details of your order within an hour or two then reply back if they can do the paper or not.

If they accepts the paper, the process immediately begins according to the deadline imposed. Otherwise, the money paid is immediately refunded by an automated escrow payment system (somehow similar to essaybay) within less than 12 hours.

Since promotion is restricted here in this website, I'd rather not mention the name of this website. If you want to know more about the details, please email me at ***@yahoo

You don't need proofs for something that's so obvious.

Come to think about it, Ur the only one acting like that.

Others are mere spectators voicing out their opinions. Know what, this site could have been better without you around.

How did I know? Try conducting a survey asking on how many people have you already pissed.

If its anything intentional, well good luck. >; )

CLEARLY: this website is not meant to help writers and students discuss who're frauds and who're not.

Totally Bi-ass-ed!

With WB around acting like that, this entire site serves the purpose of destroying sites' reputations.

Maria18, you're not fooling anyone. Tell me--how did you come to know this email address when it is not available in Google's, Yahoo's, or MSN's search results?

Take your SPAM elsewhere. The moderator will likely ban you soon.

KNOW WHAT WB,

guys like Joneszr Need help here at this site by the simple knowing of which is which. Now if you can't understand this simple BASIC humanitarian code, then you are the moron.

Also, please stop calling everyone MORON, IDIOT, STUPID and all those harsh words.

If the moderator can see how offensive you are becoming, then they should ban someone like you.

BUT, if they think you are an asset for them to get more clicks and rates, well that's some biased perspective

WB - I did respect you before but you ruined it and everyone else's because of your attitude problem

Those sites looked pretty real though, I'm thinking on giving up after hearing all this crap about frauds n ****.

[Moved from]: Good Sites With Academic Writing Company Reviews

Is anyone aware of a site that allows users to rate their experiences with companies?
Like a yelp site but for academic writing services.

Preferably something that is pretty active.

Any suggestions would be awesome and a great resource for everyone

No.

There is no such thing as an impartial rating service for "academic writing service." You show me a review site, and I'll show you proof that the owner also owns an essay site (which-not coincidentally-has a top rating).

Hi red :)

The problem here is that this forum is not here for users to offer recommendations. Do not take any PMs you might get at face value (in fact you would be better not to ask) because a lot of members here are company representatives and writers for certain companies. Worse still, they sometimes pose as 'satisfied customers' and say something like, "My friend used [insert company name here] and got an A+!!! And they're so cheap!!!!"

You would be best advised not to trust a recommendation made on this site, although many scam sites have been exposed if you feel up to searching on the forum for information on a site you had in mind. Take a look at any essay sites you might consider. Take a good, hard look. Avoid websites with really bad grammar and ones that look fake. Chances are that even if they claim to be 'top quality' they really, really aren't; you're asking for bad quality papers and/or possibly missing a deadline because of poor quality service and communication. Maybe buy a sample outline for your project to take a look before investing your time and money in the real thing? Sorry, that's all I can suggest. ^_^

Good luck :P
