Since a "student" (likely an agent of essayplant.com) thought it wise to SPAM this forum on August 19, 2014, I am providing a little background information about the site.

1. Essayplant.com was registered in 2003 by a Ukrainian, Alex Yeremenko. From 2003-2007, Yeremenko misrepresented in official domain records that "Montana State University" registered the domain. That is illegal in multiple ways.

2. Based on the prices (see below) that essayplant.com currently charges customers, it is extremely unlikely that any qualified, American writers with master or doctoral degrees write for that site. The payouts are simply too low.

Essay Plant12 hours: $28.95/page
24 hours: $21.95/page
48 hours: $19.95/page
3 days: $18.95/page
4 days: $17.95/page
5 days: $16.95/page
6 days: $15.95/page
8 days: $14.95/page
10 days: $13.95/page
12 days: $12.95/page
14 days: $10.95/page

3. Essayplant.com delivers papers in 12-point, "Courier New" font, which results in only about 250 words per page. That is a joke. Professors and students / customers aren't idiots. In fact, when I was in college, nearly every professor specified on the syllabus that one of the more "academic" fonts (Times New Roman, Palatino, etc.) was required for all papers.

Essayplant.com seems to be legit and reliable if you are a foreign ESL student. They are in business for over 10 years. Also, i contacted them and pretended to be a writer interested in employment so to find out more! :))) They notified me that they accept only American, British, Canadian or Australian writers and requested not only my resume but also recommendations from my university professors to make sure that I actually did have some degree! They really seem to care about quality of writing. Has anyone worked for them?

There's something fishy about "Robert" here (besides his incorrect verb tenses).

I don't understand spammers. It's a quick way to get negative publicity, and it doesn't really impress anyone. Hey, let's try to establish word-of-mouth marketing by shouting like a lone lunatic on the sidewalk. It's not just dumb and lazy, but it's annoying, too!

I come from a mixed family, and I never claimed to have perfect English. To become someone in life, I have to serve in the military and study at the same time, while you just sit there and make labels. If I met you in person and you started your bull, I'd "edit" your yellow teeth, brother Editor75...and then you'd teach me some grammar! )

You don't know me, ace... you might like me. I help out a lot of non-native speakers in my classes, including those from Eastern Europe and the former USSR. But your anger speaks volumes about your intentions here. Have a nice day!

RobertUSA, you're not fooling anyone with your "I'm a student/writer" routine. The more you keep up the charade, the more negative evidence I will post about your site.

I believe that Robert was sent here by the Ukrainians so help deflect from the actual status and client reviews of their services. The person was only too happy to sing the praises of the company. Additionally, he sounded like he was following a script or keyword instructions when he wrote the review / response to the OP. This is a person who was more than likely paid to post the positive review.

The url comes back with a warning. It is a potential security risk and FireFox prevents any further access to the site once the name is loaded into the browser. So the company is still active, but known to be a data collector. What they do with the data they collect is anybody's guess. It is in everyone's best interest to simply steer clear of this site. It is not a reliable nor trustworthy one. If it was just a matter of an expired certificate, the warning would not be so dire to the person trying to access the site. Stay away from it.
