Hi, Long time reader, first time poster. This site has helped me alot in learning about how to spot a legitimate website, and having been decieved once by a website claiming to be uk based, knowing what i know now, and ordering once from a genuine uk based company (no names) i was fairly happy with result and service. I have now now found this company (essayservices.co.uk) and was wondering if anybody has any information regarding them and whether or not they are infact legitimate, and use uk based writers. They seem fairly legit looking through their website, uk phone number, uk registered, but i am still suspicious. Has anybody ordered from them or know anything about them before i place order? Thanks for any replies.

If you have read my previous post then you will know i asked if anybody had a review about essayservices.co.uk. I have however ordered an essay from them, which i received fairly quickly. Sadly, it was not exactly what i ordered and my mind started racing a 150mph, thinking it could be plagiarised. I ran the essay through writecheck (don't use Viper as it don't work and is crap) and the results came back clean. I phoned up the company (reception) and received a call the next day, who apologised and explained revision will be carried out on my work. I am now waiting, But getting to the point, does anybody know of a reliable company who can proofread and grade my essay, just in case the essay is poor.

Many companies offer editing services. No one will be able to tell you what grade your paper will get other than the person that grades it. Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying.

What would be a reasonable price to pay for proofreading & editing work?

About the same as for a page of writing, honestly. It usually takes just as long--sometimes longer.

just got scammed

i just recieved order from essayservices.co.uk, and it was the most lame ass paper i have ever seen. the writer did not refer to the question at all and just wrote gibberish. The grammer style of the paper seemed pakistani or indian. the site may look real legit, but they have real poor writers. i phoned their number repeatedly and they have a receptionist 24/7 who knows nothing about the business. they never called me back. i paid by paypal, anyway to get my money back?

I placed an order almost 24 hours ago and have not heard a thing from these guys. I am not even able to sign up to their supposed tracking service. I have phoned them four times only to talk to a 'receptionist' who insists all they can do is pass on a message that I need to be called back. Thats it. What a fool I was!!! Of course they have accepted my credit card payment. I would be interested to hear of anyone else that has had experience with the company.

So roserose, what happen at the end? are you satisfied with your order or did you had similar problems just like Lazy Skeptic had?

You have to understand that when a writing company does not deliver the first time on the paper, based on the provided instructions, one should not hold too much hope that the revision will be any better. Why should it? The same lame ass writer will be doing the revision. If he did not get it right the first time, what makes anybody think he will get it right the second time? It is better to simply try and get a refund the first time you receive a useless paper. It is better than wasting your time hoping the paper meets the requirements before the deadline arrives. That never happens with third rate writing companies.

I guess the company did not survive the transition from the pandemic to a new open academic writing market. The domain name is apparently no longer active as the name can no longer be resolved during the handshake stage. I would like to believe that this is a good thing since there does not seem to be any positive feedback about this writing company. If it was UK based, it would have to take itself down and realign the company services to not violate the new anti-essay mill law that their parliament passed a few months back. Since it hasn't come back, then the problem with the company went beyond just bad reviews and unskilled writers.
