I'm pretty certain I'm in the process of being scammed by these guys right now. Do you guys have any advice as to what sort of threats I need to make to get my money back? Is it even possible to get my money back?
Further, do you think I should cancel the debit card I used to make this purchase? Are they going to be selling my card numbers or anything?
So glad to find there's a site dealing with this kind of stuff!
Thanks,
Nick
[Moved from]: Any advice on getting my money back from ewritingpal.com?
I got royally scammed by the gentlemen from ewritingpal.com. I paid 104 dollars for a short research paper, which they delivered three days late, and only after I called and e-mailed them repeatedly threatening them with legal action. When they finally delivered the paper, it was complete crap.
Does anyone have any advice on how I should go about attempting to get my funds returned to me? They're pretty gifted at giving the run-around, so if anyone has any good advice, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Pretty much impossible if they delivered a product that could even remotely be considered a fulfillment of your contract with them. Demanding a refund when they failed to deliver on time would have been a better option. Also, assuming your research paper was more than three pages and had a deadline of five days or less, you paid less than a reputable company/writer would charge.
I have also placed an order with them, wish could have read this earlier. I dont know what they will do with me. Monday is the deadline.
They did a great job... Thanks ewritingpal team thanks...

ewritingpal.com is a complete scam! Here is a printscreen of chat conversation with some guy named Mac Johnson, who turns out to speak Russian! Total ESL rip-off and garbage. Write an essay yourself if you do not want to be fooled.

No, just you.
Ewritingpal.com was created in the year 2010. So, I guess 2 years should be enough for it to have several reviews. If you want the real information about the domain, you may visit this link: verify1st.com/ewritingpal.com. You can find there some comments and reviews about the site as well as its reputation rate that you want to see. This will surely be helpful to you.

Which websites can you trust?
I like how most of the sockpuppet accounts have less than two comments. They could try a little harder.

atom1234 = RETARD from ewritingpal.com
I think its better that we should try eWritingpal for ourselves first. Thats what I think. I tried them and found them very professional.
Why would you make an ID as a company rep and then try to pass off your post as a customer?
The idiot did not understand the instructions for creating a profile at this forum. That is the only acceptable excuse I could think of for such a dire posting error. The person had no idea that he had blown his cover by telling the truth, about being a shill, then posting in the guise of a student. I guess we have to forgive this person for not understanding the English instructions as provided in the registration and profile page.
It was a rhetorical question, but thanks for responding.
It was rhetorical question, but look at that thread chats. Lolz. :)
Students who would want to go the honest route and write their own paper will do well to first visit their school's writing center. Sometimes, students hire writing services because they don't know how to approach writing the paper or, they are just afraid to do so. The writing assistants at the writing center are trained to help the students get started or, get over their fear of writing. They take the student's from training wheels to 2 wheelers , so to speak. It would do students well to try writing the paper themselves with help, just to see hour they like it and if they can do it. Any problems? Then hire a writing service.
