I ordered a Master's thesis from Masterpapers.com in Oct. it was supposed to b e completed in 2 weeks. The writer did not follow any of the instructions. I have never been able to reach the company via "Live Support" and very rarely can I get anyone on the phone. I have been given the run around by the writer "Hellen" and the employees "Frederick", "Colleen", and "Melissa" for almost 6 months. Now that I have found this website, I realize, I have been totally scammed. It was an expensive lesson.

It's a subjective statement. So they've been working with you for 6 months and you still claim you were scammed? I understand you did receive a paper from them and it was not plagiarized, but you still wanted a revision - so the word "scam" may be too strong in your case.

All three or four of the MasterPapers employees use FAKE, "American" names. They are all Ukrainian.

Major- They were not working with me for 6 months. The paper was ordered in Oct and due 2 weeks later. The paper I received did not follow APA format or the specific instructions I gave her from my University. I did not get what I paid for. I got a useless paper. The writer promised to revise the paper, following the instructions. That was in Nov. There were several months where I could not get any response at all from the writer or MasterPapers. No like support, not response to my emails and I always got an answering machine when I called. When I finally did reach a person on the other end, he was absolutely clueless and did not want to give me his name. This happened over and over. Due to this fiasco, I could not graduate. My own fault for try to take the easy path, I know this. I am now in the process of writing my own paper, which I should have done in the first place. This does not change the fact that MasterPapers did not follow through with their promise and I am out $1300.

Never ever use Masterpapers.com. I just got back the work I have ordered through them and is a peas of crab ! Don't try to reach them-you will get no response ! I can't believe that happened ! It will ruin my entire studies as I must do it all over again and Im out of time. It cost me 500$ and lots of stress.

I never received my paper. I decided to start writing and stayed up all night into the early morning hours to finish my paper in time. I made sure I contacted my Credit Company in the morning to cancel the charge and I explained to them that unfortunately the Company was run by scam artists. The most important thing is to document all your messages with the company via E-Mail. I printed all my messages so that I have prove that I contacted them. The minute MasterPapers.com realizes that you are on to them they delete all the correspondence from their files. Fortunately I printed all my correspondence. My credit company is in the process in crediting my account and will investigate the company for future charges. I will check my Credit card on a daily basis to make sure that my credit card was not compromised.

Good day sirs, I am a new member of the site. I just joined recently but I've been reading the posts from time to time. Actually, I was wondering if I can share my bitter experience with this essay site.

Actually, I filed an order with 30 pages dissertation and I selected a deadline of 5 days. All the while, I thought my paper was being processed by a writer. But, two days before the deadline. I tried inquiring the status of my paper and they told me they haven't found any writer yet. Then, I waited. Then, after this, I inquired again 1 day before my deadline. They told me the same excuse. When my deadline was near, I sent them a note stating my cancellation. They told me that they've already found a writer but the writer is requesting a deadline extension of 3 days. I refused and requested for a refund.

But, it took me at least 4 days before I can refund my payment. I almost failed the subject because of the late submitted paper. I really learned my lesson back then. Now, I want to use a writing site where they can immediately provide writers for paper regardless of the deadline. Does anybody here knows any site like this?

Alright, No recommendations. But I want to know if some sites with these offers do exist:

1. The site immediately provides you a writer and does not have to display the paper for a writer to pickup.

2. The site provides strict plagiarism policy rules and deadline.

I have used MP for several writing assignments and all faired a 96% grade or higher. This was at the graduate school level. In two instances, I was not satisfied with the final product and MP immediately corrected the issue with the assignment of a new writer who still met my deadline. The only issue that I normally run into is the APA formatting. Yes, it's part of what you pay for but no writer is flawless, and it doesn't take but a moment to check for yourself.

It is easier to contact MP via their 24 hour chat line, though I have talked with reps at their toll free number. All in all, I would continue to use MP if I had a future writing assignment.

I honestly do not doubt that you have and, as much as I dislike him/her, am sure the rusty one is one of their better writers. I also know that they have another v good writer on their books (Vange). But, honestly ... how many good writers do they have? You three are in the minority. The majority of their writers are absolutely illiterate. How many revision orders did you pick up from other MP writers? Could you make heads or tails of the trash they tried to pass off as academic writing?

Another thing - should writers of your calibre be offered such low CPPs?

sure i wish i could get more per order, but they keep me fed. i get what you're saying, there are some crack pots there, but from my experience for the type of business they are in, they have decent intentions.

Why are companies like masterpapers still in business? How are they able to continue to deceive customers?

I ordered writing services from them for my blog. They completely botched the work. Their QA department agreed. However, when I tried to get a refund or a new writer, they demanded that the original writer fix the paper. On top of error, they delivered the work late (passed the deadline to publish).

It only got worse after that. The customer service experience has been a nightmare. I've been given a runaround for days, been told different things by different members of their customer service, had one of their customer service managers hang up on me, and was told that I had to have someone from the company speak with me to issue a refund. However, you cannot call them, they will give you no number to call, etc.

This morning (after a week or more) of going back and forth, I was told that I'd be issued a refund. However, they did send me this email"

if you're running out of time, for a deadline or something, get yourself a bucket of cold water and put it under your computer desk, put your feet in it, and work it through the night. seems to work for me whenever im in a pickle.

I don't know about the company this happened with, but it is the sad truth that there are a lot of scams out there. Taking some steps to keep yourself safe, including communicating with the specific writer handling your project, is definitely necessary.

Based upon the potential client's review of the comments coming from various places, and it is important to look for the negative comments as part of an equal search and information investigation, the student can decide if he or she wants to take a chance on hiring this writing service. Personally, I think that personal references from friends can help to limit the problems when dealing with the writing companies but then again, it might not. Just remember, always use Paypal and never the credit card to pay for the service as it is easier to collect a chargeback from Paypal than the credit card company.

@Smiley73 personal references have worked wonders for my writing career over the past 20 years. So I definitely support that comment on your part. However, the simple investigation that you are suggesting carries more cons with it than pros as far as I am concerned. Having been part of the inner circle of several writing companies in the past, I know how these competitors become adversarial through the "reviews" process. I would not trust an online review of any writing company because they constantly backstab each other through the online review process.

In fact, there was a time when, in my capacity as a copywriter, I was hired by a number of writing companies before the start of the schoolyear to plant negative reviews about one another and glowing praises of the company that hired me. The pay was good so I did not complain, but it got me to wondering as to what other lengths these companies would go to in order to get rid of the competition. I strongly doubt any of their "positive" and "negative" reviews were written by actual clients. Well, maybe one ore two but no more than that.

It is because of the con game that the sites play that I do not believe your suggested method of invstigating the background of a company using a simple "search" process will work to the student's benefit.

People continue to fall for this simply because, like you, they only start doing their due diligence after paying, and only once they begin to realize that they got ripped off. The amount of investigation you need to do to identify these kinds of problems really isn't extensive (or prohibitively difficult); but the right time to do it is before you decide to trust anybody with your money, not afterwards.
