I have a specific need for art history paper that involves comparing 2 different paintings. The resources are scare on these images. Anyway, I find myself approaching a deadline and desperate. I received an inquiry response from custompapers of $359 for 10 pages. Still waiting to hear from papermasters. From reading the threads and recommendations I chose these 2 services. I know one person's experience can differ greatly from another but am seeking some kind of validation that I am making the write choice by going with one of these 2 services. There are other threads on these sites but nothing current so I apologize for being a repeat. Try to remember being in my shoes and be kind, I am already flaming from guilt for resorting to this means.

I don't have first-hand knowledge of either of these companies, but remember when you hire a company only about half of your money actually goes to the writer. You're better off finding an independent writer who will charge less and probably produce higher quality work because they actually get the full price of the paper.

I completely agree with JohnsMom. That said, I have heard that the two companies you mentioned are among the best in the biz.

srandrews,

What are some other good companies in this business?

Actually only about 25-30% goes to the writer. This is the type of company that has the writers bid on the orders instead of just giving a fixed price, which is generally not a good deal for writers.

i'm surprised there isn't more elance type formats for this where you actually see the writer's qualifications beforehand.

Writers can lie, and e-lance site operators (like scammers) make money by generating sales, not by producing quality work. These sites don't proliferate as easily because writers and customers move on too quickly.

yeah but that way the customer could at least see the writer's feedback

The writer's feedback could be made up, though, or unreliable for other reasons. What might be a "great paper" to a freshman foreign student struggling in a particular subject area might be a dismal failure for an upper division or graduate student, for one example. Writers earn reputations over a period of years, and you need a lot of feedback to reach any sort or reliable or objective measure of quality. These sites and/or the writers on them simply don't last that long.

that's a major challenge of this industry. there is great disparity of quality expectations between colleges, professors, students, etc. the idea that you can simply pay for a bachelor's or master's level paper and get exactly what you expect is a little ridiculous.

This is another reason I think direct communication with writers before sending payment is so important. Companies are great for their marketing power and their ability to provide several writers proficient in different fields, but the necessities of ordering from such large entities creates the idea that each page is interchangeable with the next, as though the writing process were mechanized.

I had a highly technical project that needed to be done at the last moment. I was really concerned I would fail. I mean it was a matter of hours and I hadn't a clue what to do. I contacted customer service at CustomPapers.com. I had a friend who had used them for editing her final (tough) project. I was desperate. Customer service was able to assign my order right away and I received emails from my writer (a real person) within minutes. The writer was very insightful and was able to put my anxiety at ease. I guess they do this sort of project all the time (excel spread sheets). What really amazed me is that it was a matter of hours and the writer sent me the final product that I was able to turn in on time. I also know it was original work and not some cut and paste job you see at these paper mills. I had to use Turnitin and the work passed without an issue. I was very impressed and I will use them again in the future. I read other reviews on other sites about them and the typical experience is also positive.

Go with custompapers if you really want to experience a fantastic writing job. The work experience a student has with that company is always a good one. I often refer my excess clients to their company whenever I find my own company swamped with work. I have yet to hear about a disappointed student among my referrals. They truly focus on the needs of the student and ensure that the students gets the paper that they want or need, the first time.

When it comes to quality writing and excellent client service, custompapers seems to be at the top of their game. I have yet to come across a client of theirs who had any complaints about the work of their writers. However, I have heard of clients that have cheated the company out of their fair income by placing one order and they totally changing the instructions after the paper had been submitted, forcing the writer and the company to take a pay cut to satisfy the bait and switch client. When you are dealing with an on the level company, you should treat the company in the same manner. Do not take advantage of them or their writers.
