Well, their homepage claims that they are all Yale graduates, but then the bios of several editors quite clearly say otherwise, so....

I don't think it's an outright scam, but I doubt you'll get help that's worth the price.

They don't do research. They deal mostly with editing, admission essays etc. They don't scam.Probably their turn around time might not be good presently but I know people who have had good experiences with them in the past, not sure about now though but at least their reputation and work seem genuine.

I find it strange that for a company counting years in the business, there isn't enough information available about them at other review sites or forums that would indicate the type of work they deliver to the students. Run a search for the company and the return will only give you results for "reviews" from their own website, all of which are, as expected, positive and encouraging. The reviews are designed by the site owners to entice clients to sign up for their service. Since they do not really engage in academic writing, it is possible that the editing work that they do does return positive reviews. However, I doubt it can be positive all the time. They probably delete the negative reviews left on their site and, since they do not write "original" research or opinion essays, they do not get the kind of reviews that one would expect of a typical writing service.

I am not sure where Cite got the information that was posted in the comment box above. It appears that the company is no longer in existence, having taken their server offline, and returning the name to the company it was leased from. The domain is now available again for use in business of any type. The name is being disassociated with academic writing as much as possible. While there has been some interest in the name, the continued existence of the name in company review sites such as ES tends to make the interested party shy away after preliminary inquiries.
