This is my experience of liveperson.

I contacted "Elizabeth Scott" about getting an essay written for me. She said it was more her husband's area so passed it on to him. She said his name is "Donald Turner" and he is on Liverperson too as D_Turner.

Live PersonAnyway I paid $200 and received my essay. I read through the essay and it sounded great so I paid and left positive feedback. A couple of hours later I started to wonder if the essay wasn't a bit too good .... and sure enough it was as it had been extensively plagiarized (as in entire paragraphs) from published academic articles available on the web.

I can't get my money back from Liveperson.com so I'm just posting this as a warning to others. Donald Turner's credentials - shown below - look great but he obviously has no scruples about selling someone elses academic endeavors as his own work. I've sent a complaint to what he says is his university too and suggested that they take a closer look at his submitted work - who knows whether anything he has posted on his profile is true though.

As an update: I've been told that I can dispute the transaction with liveperson even though I've paid.

So I have now asked them to amend the "expert's" rating as I now know the essay was plagiarized and I've also asked live person to make a refund.

I'll post how it goes.

As an update, the rating was changed within 24 hours to show the lowest rating possible - the comment was also changed to say that the essay had been extensively plagiarized. I got an e-mail yesterday from Liverperson to say that I had been refunded in full to my paypal account and I got notification of a credit to my account from paypal.

I am really pleased with the way Liveperson has dealt with this. I panicked when I'd paid, and then realized that I'd been scammed, that I wouldn't be able to get a refund but it has all been sorted out without any hassle.

How come this person has no rating now (NEW)? Some of your statements are inconsistent.

It helps if you read from the start Major.

The rating has been applied to "Elizabeth Scott" as she is the person that I paid and who supplied the essay - I talked to her quite a bit through e-mail and went through the requirements of the essay. She told me it was no problem and would be delivered on time etc but. She also said that she'd pass it to her husband "Donald Turner" (D_Turner) to actually write as it was more his area of expertise as he is getting his masters in international relations.

If you look on Elizabeth Scott's ratings - mine is the one that states "The essay has been extensively plagiarized".

The plagiarism was so bad that only 3 words of the 2,500 word paper had not been directly lifted from an article that has been published online. Essentially, a couple of headings were amended and that was it!

The two person involvement is why I have headed this thread with both names and why I complained to liveperson.com about both parties. I don't think that either party is trustworthy and I think that prospective customers should be aware of this.

LivePerson / Business_papers - LEGIT?

Hi has anyone used this website to order essays? It's a portal for freelance writers to offer their services direct to the customer without a middle company. This person in particular has high ratings and seems to be well respected. Does anyone think this is a fraud? Should one trust such a writer? Anything to watch out for?

Oh this thing makes freelancing untrusted. I've had same experience with Solutioninn.com the expert was named "Quality Solutions". however, on my continues appeals they refunded my money :) but now i'm really scared to hire any freelancer.

I have ordered an essay from a company with high ratings, and it was a waste of money. It was full of errors--spelling and grammar.

- Uhh... Did you mean the company name? That definitely doesn't sound like a human name, even in the age of made up names and forget how to spell the name presentations. If that was the name of the company, then you have a bigger problem than just being conned out of your payment. You shouldn't even have left the first grade !

The company is still in existence but no longer performs as an academic writing site. It has refocused itself as a business research firm and consultancy. It is a research company for hire to businesses, which means they saw the writing on the wall and realized that they will not be able to sustain their academic writing business based upon the model they were using at that point. I applaud them for changing their business platform instead of continuing to cheat students of their money with unreliable academic writing.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.
