I placed an order after i have seen one woman here said we are not fake company etc but in fact they are more worse that a fraud company . I paid ( 300 pound ) just for 4 papers to be delivered after one week , I GIVE THEM every things ID + additional information and i talked with online ( at that time they were not ****** each other so i took chance to speak with them ) , they said don't worry etc and your writer now is working into your work ... ok ?

after one week at the day of the deadline i receive message said that , you didn't send us your ID so we stop your work !!! , and now i am in my 15 days and no response to me or i just lost every things . Please , don't be as my situation there be carefull . I feel stupid because i see that is expensive , has office so go with them .

I am not a proponent of oxbridgeessays (TORG), at all. There are countless warnings about the company throughout this forum. Your post, however, is a bit confusing:

1) What about their "online chatting" and how does it prove that they are fraudsters?
2) They may not have received your ID the first time and, hence, placed the order on hold until they are able to confirm that you are entitled to use the payment method in question (that you are the credit card holder, the owner of the PayPal account, etc.)

3) One week after the deadline? Why didn't you contact them before that?
4) Price - yes, it is undoubtedly overpriced but, you agreed to pay that figure.

Onto more practical issues: if you paid and did not receive that which you paid for, demand a refund. If they do not send you proof of the refund within 48 hours (at the most) contact your credit card company and demand a reversal of the charges (chargeback). If you paid vis PayPal, submit a support ticket and state your reasons for the refund - demand one. At the very least, you shouldn't be out of your money.

i contact them after five mintues from placing the order and every three hourse during the day , every time they say your writer is working hard on your papers !! and at the deadline try to give any excuse just to escap with charge that you take it from them if they are late !!. i submit to them all my ID'S ( CARD , PASSPORT ETC FROM THE FIRST DAY ) .They are absoultely thieves . Even the online it is just figure with no one in it .I test that for along time not just now

Any way this is advice to all people here never ever place any order with them , try to work by your self this is very great lesson for me

good bye

I don't understand why this site is so full of warnings against Oxbridge Essays: they're expensive yes, but you get what you pay for in this world. Like WRT said, you can get a refund through your credit card company if you didn't get your essay which means that OxE would lose out by not sending it to you. On top of that they still have to pay the writer, so by not sending it to you they've actually lost a large proportion of that £300.

I've had nothing but good experiences with them: they do cost a bit but I found their customer service to be great and the essays were on time and good quality.

OXBRIDGESSAYS -- only horrible experience!!!!!!!!!

They won't reply to you even if you call or email them. INITIATE A CHARGEBACK. Owned by Philip and James Malamitinas. First they will say they lost the writer; then wont deliver right in time. Services are appalling!

Once you initiate the chargeback they will contact you and try to arrange something between you and the company to issue a refund but believe me it would take a long time to get a refund from them. The only thing to do is to INITIATE A CHARGEBACK from your credit card company

OXBRIDGESSAYS, The Oxbridge Research Group,--> SHOULD BE REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS!

ARE YOU JAMES Malamitinas by any chance???? Your posts seem to defend this company

Long drive, certainly, but why drive when you can take the Tube? Uxbridge is technically in London, and is on the Piccadilly line. I went there once, but I can't remember why.

help Oxbridge essay has scammed me of £400!

Hello, i placed an order with oxbridgeessays on the 19th of may 2010 totalling £400 pound, the order was to be delivered on the 24th of may, but i never got the order. I sent an email to Christain Honan, director of sales, he replied by saying he was sorry that the order wouldnt be delivered on the 24th has agreed. I was not happy because i got a confirmation email from this same Christain confirming the delivery date as the 24th , why then would he change what he has agreed with me . I requested a refund and he promised to have my refund processsed by friday the 28th and that he would confirm the refund to me by email on friday, i waited till late friday but never got any reply from Christain, then i wrote him asking if he had processed my refund, but he never replied by up until now, i have called him on the phone with no response, i was on the phone for 1hr 10 min and couldnt speak to him, i sent him mails with no replies..... What measures can i go through to reclaim my money, how can i go about it.

NB: OXBRIDGE ESSAYS IS UNDER THE TORG GROUP, OXBRIDGE RESEARCH GROUP! I WOULD MAKE SURE I GET MY MONEY BACK, WHATEVER MEAN OR WAYS!!

Hey,
I am sorry to hear you had such a hard time. That really stinks. I too am in graduate school and I am now on the verge of failing a class that will get me thrown out of the program. Its suppose to be an easy class, however, it is made difficult on purpose by the instructor. Anyway, I passed a paper into her a few weeks ago and apparently it was so bad that she actually returned it to me to do-over. That was actually nice of her, she said that she didnt want me to fail and wanted me to succeed. I dont know if it was BS or what, but, I appreciated the second chance!

I thought that I had done a good job, so, scared as I was, I went to academicwritinghelp.com. I gave them a specific list of points to cover, specific references to use and the grading rubric...

I just received my paper, It did not cover ANY of what was required... It was suppose to be in APA, and it wasn't... And, it did not actually cover the paper in the point of view of my profession (nursing.) THEN, I went to google and cut and pasted the name of a source that I had not heard of, it was the first one I clicked, and there was my paper, my paper that is plagiarism free was used as a sample paper on another website.

I feel your pain, I am very sorry this has happened to you.

Paid 'the Oxbridge Research Group' for editing of a personal statement. They said they'd send a questionnaire but didn't. I read (largely adverse) coverage of them online, and decided not to use them, and asked for a refund. They said they don't issue refunds (!) When I emailed to say they should consider the consequences of getting more negative feedback online given their already unfavourable reputation, they threatened legal action. I would recommend avoiding them.

How many times students would get scammed by such companies :(

Well, there are claims made that students in the UK have been able to visit their offices and presented their writing needs in person to the mostly British writing staff. So I would like to believe that they are more on the level than the other companies since they have a physical office that students can go to should any untoward events occur. I don't think that the OP was clear on how the company works, which is why his post is sounds so confused.

This is definitely a scam company if I have ever seen one. It is the only academic writing website that I have seen so far that manages to contradict itself from the anchor page all the way to the About Us page. At the front of the page, they assure the students of a high UK based grade. In the About Us section they say that they write model papers and do not advice that the students submit it for a grade to avoid potential problems. Then, they have a special warning section for UK based students, which leads to a dead section of the site. They obviously know that their services will get them sued in the UK but since they are not located in the UK, they never do give a physical address, they figure they can just confuse the students and get away with the scam.

Sorry but just have to put you right on a couople of points.
I have said it elsewhere on this forum so will copy it.

Excerpt from Oxbridge Essay website

Can I use your services in my country?

As an international company, we offer a wide choice of academic services: editing, marking, proofreading, tutoring, application assistance, copy-writing and model-writing services.

Nearly all of these services are permitted universally, including in England.

In June 2022, England introduced regulations which limit English companies from providing some essay-writing services to students at English institutions.

English students CAN continue to order from us if they are:

· Ordering a permitted essay-writing service (e.g., private research)
· An international customer
· A student in Scotland or Wales
· Studying abroad
· Ordering editing, marking, proofreading, tutoring, application assistance, copy-writing or model-writing services.

When ordering essay-writing materials, all English customers are required to confirm that they meet one of the above exemptions. So they can write custom essays for English students as long as they are using it for private research.

----------------------------------

Their website states "© 2022 Icarus Education Ltd. (UAE)" so indicates a middle east presence.
They also state they are a private company Icarus Education Ltd in London.
It looks like they are covering both bases as it were.

I do agree with you that their website is intricate to put it politely. However I have never written for them so students can make up thir own mind after doing their own resarch.

Always better to stick to reputable essay companies or freelance writers who have a UK qualification than those from USA, Brazil, Turkey, India, Nigeria (other countries are available)......!

@a1writer I have no problem with you correcting me when needed since you already know that I am not familiar with the UK based or affiliated companies and how the law fully works. Hence my disclaimer at the bottom of my posts. I appreciate it and addtionally appreciate the points where you agree with me. I apologize if I become repetitive. That is not my intention. I just cannot seem to find these registration information that you manage to find on the sites. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places or, maybe I should run a business registration search next time.

I find myself agreeing with you on several issues but will bear in mind your difficulty in accessing all pages of UK websites for the future. I think it is helpful that you appreciate the high standards expected of the UK student.

I think both of us are intent on protecting students from scam essay companies and freelance writers who profess to be a professional and competent writers in multiple subjects. I have a particular interest in pointing out such writers to UK students for obvious reasons!
