Essay Empire never came through. The website makes them look like an obvious scam, so I was dumb for even trying them. They don't even have a phone number. The only good thing is that my money was returned, even if I could never get ahold of anyone.

bestessays.com was more successful (even though ESL). They came through way before schedule and were helpful on the phone, but part of the work was incomplete, which was pretty damn annoying.

One possibility: the writer who took your order has already fired bestessays.

Your coursework should be done substantially on your own. You shouldn't rely on others to do it for you.

I ordered a 5 day essay and did not get my work done.
They charged my credit card,but never answered on my e-mails,and never got my essay.

Some more cases of getting victimized without bothering to have spent a little time in some simple research!

You see, some of these writing services take some clients' money and disappear. They know you'll never open a case for cancelling the transaction.

I would never take a risk of being kicked off the college for $40 I've lost.

You can't be kicked out of college for ordering something that wasn't delivered. Stop trying to scare your victims out of their money and fu*- off.

The papers from essay empire are plagiarized papers. The one that I received was copied and pasted from megaessays.com. Their promise of a refund of your money if you are dissatisfied is total bull as well. I contacted them within the two day window for a refund and never received a response. I reported them through the ripoff report. I am working with the BBB to do a report against the online business as well. This is just a post so hopefully no one else gets caught up in this business.

You should also try to initiate a chargeback via your payment processor/credit card company/bank.

Good advise. At least they offered a refund. Ripoffs in this service seem to be the norm. I think initiating a refund from the processor is a great idea.

It is a good idea, but only in cases of actual fraud/failure to provide service. Simple dissatisfaction isn't a reason.

Essay Empire.com must be a scam!

Wow, wish I had seen these posts before I purchased from them, now I'm out of money, and yes, there's no way to contact anyone! I did try another company who seems wonderful! Paperdom.com, where 24/7 you reach a live person at good rates. Also for you jerks who down those who use these services, up yours because not all of us sit back and hire someone to write our papers. I had one written and I merge it with what I've done, making it mine, changing lots because I either don't agree or see it's not my style. So I am still doing the work! I Just needed some guidance especially in getting started!

The site you promoted doesn't even exist. There are some sites with similar names that are pretty obvious scams, though.

Were they really? It seems to me that you were still not satisfied with the paper you received because it still wasn't the paper that you needed for your class. So I cannot say that one company was more successful than the other. Both failed you are varying degrees. Both left you in the lurch to a certain extent. Both did not satisfy your writing requirements. So neither company should get a pat on the back from you. Instead, you should be telling the truth about how you feel. I do not doubt that you feel cheated, betrayed, and left with no recourse.

Essay Empire has not improved since the time of this posting. In fact, it has gotten worse. The poor schmucks who hired them found that there is not a single shred of truth to their claims of writer expertise or proficiency. They proved for themselves that the writers are NOT UK based, educated, nor trained. The writers can barely string an English sentence together and, they do not accomodate revision requests. The uniform complaint is that the writers do not even try to write a good paper and it was not uncommon for them to simply take Wikipedia information and cut and paste it into a document, and expect to get paid for it !!! That company is a definite scam. There are other alternative sites out there that clients can safely use. Find and use them.
