A recommended college paper writing website not listed with BBB?

I went to the bbb.org website today and it told me that a college paper service I consider for my essay papers is not filed with them and they have three complaints listed. The website specifically says "It appears that this business is no longer in business."

I'm confused now because I have just ordered from them because it seems to be a reliable site. May I get clarification please. Thanks.

BTW - Can a company based in Ukraine or Pakistan get the Better Business Bureau (BBB) accreditation? Or only companies from the US and Canada can get it? Some members on this site say bestessays or essaywriters are not from the US and that means they cannot get this accreditation?I saw on custompapers.com they have such accreditation and was wondering if a foreign based company (outside the US or Canada) can also get it? thanks.

Looks like Asianperson is correct, I too searched the BBB just for the hell of it and found that they are not accredited by the BBB? However, this custom essay service does not claim that they are BBB accredited as far as I can see? The BBB can be a pain in the ass and really not bring any real benefit other than the dues and the logo. If they claimed they were I would lead the charge against the fraud but there is nothing here.

I've been writing for them since 2003. Totally legit company. If you place an order you'll get your essay and it will be 100% original work. If no writer takes the order off the board, you'll get 100% refund on your cc statement. Like any other company, the quality of the paper always depends on what writer takes the order. Once you find someone whose work you like, you should always request that same writer in the future.

How do you request a writer? What spot on the form do you use?

This is neither the essay company's nor any other site's customer service center.

ok. point taken.

I stumbled onto this web site after typing in essay and scam and couldn't believe something came up. I plan to email this site to all my friends. So many students are upset right now about feeling ripped off from fradulent essay writing services. It's very pervasive.

There must be something we can do!!

"worried"

It is clear you are a shill working with WritersBeware to hype the company you're promoting. Do you do this job for free, maybe you are his "SEO writer" too?

College Paper StudentI'm not hyping anybody!

I have no connection to anyone, other than feeling ripped off like alot of other people do, and we're sick of it!!

If you would like to assist kids that have been ripped off by Best Essays, Custom Writing Services, and many more, please let me know. I know alot of people that have gotten essays that have been slammed by TURNITIN. Many others have received papers by "writers" who obviously cut and pasted from (can you believe it) Wilkipedia!! There is no teacher in America that will ever accept Wilkipedia as a source.

Sorry for the sloppy typing, but it's late.

If you would like to email me your name, address, and phone number, I can post it on campus and have the complaints come straight to you.

also, please send email address.

Please do not call me a "shill". Rudeness is never appropriate.

Since you obviously care about quality and ethics, I will make sure in my mass texting and email messages tomorrow to every single student in every single organization that I have ever belonged to, that I mention that they should definitely look you up on this site personally!

I believe a "pass it along to everyone you know" text will be appropriate. Should go through 10 or 15 states by Sunday!

So, does this mean that all the sites listed with "bbb.org" are legit ? This is what I found out:

As far as I know only US and Canada-based companies may get the BBB accreditation.

In North America, bbb provides a trust mark program and dispute resolution services for businesses that have committed to a higher standard of ethics and customer service.

Presently, BBB does not offer these programs to businesses headquartered outside the United States and Canada.

I have sent in three rate quote or info wanted emails to college paper but no response. I have also called the number listed twice and left messages? I have talked with a couple places but decided against them and would like to get an idea from them. Any advice on how to get it started with them or where to go? I am running into a deadline and would like to get started soon. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "rate quote"? Their prices are all listed right on the website, aren't they? I'm just a contract writer and have nothing to do with administration but I might be able to answer basic questions if you want to post or PM them or contact me on aol.

"worried" doesn't understand caveat emptor or karma. take your spam threats somewhere else, whiner. if I were your writer and you acted like this, I would give you a Wikipedia paper on purpose. why don't you try being charming?

Where on aol? When I said rate quote I meant: There is a spot to call or chat, but when you click chat it says its unavailable? And the message on the phone number says it will email back ( but I have not received one yet). So I sent in an email in regards to all the particulars hoping to get a response or a call, but still nothing? When I checked the BBB site it says they say its no longer is business because they cant get ahold of them through phone or email either? I'm thinking I might just go with a couple other choices, but not sure which ones yet. Also is custom research for student a spinoff? I sent an email there to get a quote or talk to someone but still nothing. The reason i need to talk to someone or get a quote is because there are some added things i need besides just the paper. Any help would be appreciated since I'm kind of running into a time crunch

I have no idea about how many people work in what offices or shifts there but I do know they get pretty busy. They'll eventually e-mail you back but chances are you could probably just ask your question here about things like "how much extra is an outline?" or whatever. I don't think I'm allowed to post my e-mail address, but it's pretty easy to figure out.

I will try and figure out the email, but in the meantime are there specific prices that most companies charge for outlines and bibliographies? what about a synthesis page or a more elaborate biblio? Can I just get a rough draft and then make revisions accordingly? Sorry for all the questions.

No problem. Bibliographies are always included; just add a page to your order if you need it annotated for more than a couple of sources. Generally, all that other stuff (outlines/syntheses, etc) should just be requested with your order. It's up to you if you want 8 pages plus an outline or 8 pages including an outline, but if you order and pay for 8 pages total, you can't expect 8 pages plus more work on a outline or synthesis without paying for it...figure each of those things should be an extra page unless you want them done in half a page, which is also up to you. Revisions can also be ordered later but aren't included unless a writer screws something up in the original order. In my experience, if you need an 8-page paper revised, you should probably place that as a new 3-4 page order with instructions to rewrite the original, depending on how extensively it needs to be reworked.

The website specifically says "It appears that this business is no longer in business."

The BBB should make it obvious to the user that they do not deal with non- American and non- Canadian companies. That is because most users will get confused by the default "no longer in business " response when the company is still obviously, very much in business. It causes unwarranted stress for the client. The information provided his not helpful for the purposes of the student.

The BBB is nothing but an unhelpful business organization that charges its members affee for their ratings. since they are not a government organization, their ratings are worthless. They cannot even properly facilitate communications between businesses because, that is not their function. They only file consumer complaints in their system then do nothing else. So asking them about any business is a waste of time. They do not have all businesses listed as not all business owners are willing to pay for a worthless membership. They are too lax because they could care less. They probably do not even know that scam companies are using their logo to lull clients into a false sense of safety.
