I've been to their site a few times, and they really just seem like crazy freaks to me. What business offers online psychological counseling and essay writing from the same people? Why did they think that would be a good idea?

Btw. I found three interesting paragraphs on Psychotherapy and Human Psyche:

The dominant theme of this post is one with which I wholeheartedly agree; while Freud's perspective on the human psyche and the process of psychotherapy is largely reductionist in nature, Jung's perspective is conversely more positive (Corsini and Wedding). Since the process of psychotherapy is grounded in the notion that changes can be made, though the source and methods of those changes diverge according to the theoretical perspective being applied, it is necessary to frame the human mind in a positive light. In contrast to seeking out the roots of neuroses through psychoanalysis, with a deterministic perspective of the psyche severely limiting the possibilities of transformation through treatment, Jung posited that change was integral to the therapy process from the inception of treatment.

The post rightfully highlights that Jung's humanistic approach to psychotherapy emphasized awareness without over-focusing on neuroses as problems that entirely shaped the course of one's life. Jung's goals of meaning-seeking and problem exploration are far more evolved than Freud's purely analytical goals that do not encompass the ability of the individual to make changes in his/her life. Self-awareness is integral to both Jungian and Freudian perspectives, but Jung's theoretical foundations represent early support for patient/client autonomy.

I believe that the self-efficacy and self-advocacy of the patient is integral to the change process, and the Freudian perspective does not lend enough credence to these issues. The power differential that inevitably exists between therapist and client is exacerbated in the Freudian perspective and conversely equalized in Jung's view. While Freud did make important contributions to the field of psychology, as the post suggests, the Jungian view represents a natural evolution of the Freudian perspective.

This is my site :) Thanks for the feedback, the site is still being constructed. We don't offer counseling.

I am actually training to be a counsellor and once trained I am likely to offer this service also. There is no reason why the two services can't both be offered. In fact, I have had enquiries already from people who have purchased essays. I wouldn't, however, offer a service until I can provide the very best.

His site is listed in EssayDirectory.com and he used to (legitimately) advertise here and on EssayChat.com, so that's probably not a bad news for potential clients.

There is actually a consultancy firm using the healthpsychologyconsultancy name listed in LinkedIn. I wonder if these are the same people. I have heard that the writing companies have been slowly transferring to these employment service sites for some reason. Since the website is now defunct and no information can be found for either site online, I can only assume that the companies went belly-up and the company listed in LinkedIn just happens to be using the exact name as the con writing site.

I don't know. I find the credibility of this Nicola Davies to be questionable. It seems like an actual fact checking on her background should be done. I mean, can we really trust a person who claims to be a mental healthcare professional but also writes academic papers for others? A psychologist for hire? Was she even really hired by all these productions? Do they even know they are being used as references to sell this person to potential clients? I would pull back and rethink hiring such a person's services because, if she can be so open about what should be confidential hiring matters, then how sure am I that my sessions will also remain a secret or, that she won't resell the paper I paid her to write in the future? There is something very wrong about this person's background and business set up.
