I placed a few orders with this "company" with a deadline one of week for some, but then I started having doubts, so I tried to cancel my orders 2 days before the deadline. They asked me to send them resources, which I did. Note: It was only 4 business days after I contacted them for a refund. They told me that their "writers" or "experts" don't work on the weekends.

When I asked for a full refund, we started having a huge fight on social media which lasted for hours. They said that their Legal Department will deal with me. They know my address because I paid through PayPal. They're threatening to send a legal notice and they told me that I'll have to hire a lawyer and that I'll be sent to prison for a few years. I told them to send it by email, but they said that legal notices can only be sent by mail. They even claimed that I used services from another company called Nexus Corp, which had like 20 or 30 brands, even though that's not true because I've never even heard of them until they mentioned it. When I searched it up online, it says it's a Pakistani company. They even said that their manager from their Legal Department will contact his branch in my country to verify my address and phone number. Not to mention, they even said that they would contact my school by forwarding emails and text messages and ask them to expel me. They said that they will make my life miserable in every way possible.

They were so aggressive, intimidating, pressuring. I've never heard of a company that claims to be legitimate blackmailing and threatening their clients just because they asked for a full refund. They even tried to extort me and said that I owe them double what I paid for causing them stress, but I never paid them anything extra, despite their frequent requests to ask my friend or family to pay them. I always refused.

They were being so cruel to me. They were so insistent and demanding. "Cancel your PayPal dispute claim now and don't ever ask for a refund again." I hate myself for canceling the PayPal dispute claims even when I never received any of the items. I told them many times not to send me anything because I didn't want it. They kept making me extend my deadlines and even when they said that the "work was 100% completed", I told them that I didn't want anything.

They were bullying me so much, manipulating, controlling, guilt tripping me, and verbally and emotionally abusing me so much. They called me names like I'm a cheater, fraudster and scammer who tried to cheat them and my school. I never tired to cheat anyone nor my school because I tried to cancel. They were basically saying whatever they wanted and using every blackmail and threatening method they knew to get me to do what they wanted.

They even told me that since I never completed the ordering process and paid them the remaining half, they wouldn't even send me the items anyway. I'm not surprised because I did tell them many times that I didn't want anything from them and to just refund me back in full.

Every time I tell them to do something, they always seem to go the other way. Like when I asked them to delete all the emails and texts I sent them, they wouldn't. When I told them not to send my anything, they sent me useless work 2 and 4 days after the deadline. Many of it was incomplete and not as described. They bibliography probably took up like 1/3 or 1/4 of the page.

They always said that "I wouldn't have to ask for a refund", but when I asked for a refund, they said that their items were customised digital services and that they can't sell it to anyone. They said that they must pay their "writers" or "experts" for doing the work.

They said that they will go any lengths to prevent a loss in their company, that I locked my horns with the wrong company, that they will make me face the consequences for supposedly trying to do **** with them.

They said that I "compelled them to do the work", but I can't even see, let alone know what they're doing at all.

I personally don't think it's fair that they spent hours compelling me that to close all my PayPal disputes when I never received anything at the time. They knew full well that once a dispute is closed, it couldn't be reopened again.

They always told me that I was being unreasonable and illogical and that I treated them really badly, even though I never took their money nor did I want the work.

The reason why I changed my mind and wanted to cancel, even though I placed the orders not long ago and the deadline was a bit short, was because it was work that would take normally weeks to do, not 4 business days. They said that they offer unlimited revisions, but I figured it would turn out badly, which is why I wanted to cancel.

Please review their website. It does look professional at first glance. If you check properly, you will notice that they claim to have 100% money back guarantee, that they never miss a deadline, 24/7 live customer support, premium quality services and is 100% secure and easy to use.

They claim to have been operating for 7+ years and have many good reviews. However, when I checked their domain, they have actually only been operating for 3 years and that they have no reviews on SiteJabber and TrustPilot. I'm sure the reviews on their website are all fake. They even claim to have images of writers and experts and universities that claim to endorse their website, but I doubt it. They don't have any contact details for their writers. I'm pretty sure that they customer service representative that I spoke to and everyone else in that company uses fake names. They don't have a physical address either.

They don't have a terms and conditions page. I even checked their privacy policy where they claim to keep their clients data and information private and confidential.

I'm pretty sure that they're a fraudulent website designed to swindle people off their money. Once that take your money, they'll try to do everything they can to prevent you from getting it back. I doubt that they even honour any of their policies, considering everything they've tried to do to me.

I was wondering if I should file a chargeback with my bank? What do you guys think? Will they blackmail me again? Will they try to send me threatening emails and text messages again? They did try to call me internationally many times, but I couldn't pick up or access the voicemail because I had no credit remaining. Will they follow through on their threats? What information can you guys dig on the company?

Please let me know?

Also, the work that they suddenly and randomly sent me after the extended deadline because they refused to offer a refund is completely useless to me. I don't even need to look at it as I've done all my work myself. I never needed the help of a writing service at all.

Is it my fault that all this happened? Should I bear the loss? Or should I work hard on a chargeback proceeding? I don't know if my case will ever go into arbitration with my card network because my bank told me that it's a complex case to solve.

Please help and advise me on what to do. Also, please do not blame me, the victim, for what this company tried to do to me. I'm pretty sure they made many empty promises and that they lied to me from the beginning.

Should I contact them back? Or should I ignore them and block off all forms of contact?

Make sure you never use any of the material they sent you. Not even as a model paper. Ignore everything they have said and done. There is no legal basis for their claims and they know it. To stop the bullying, bkock their email address or, even better, delete the email address they have on file qith regards to contacting you. Thwy won't be able to reach out to you anymore to harass you.

You were not a fool to cancel the dispute. You did not know any better and you did not have anyone to advise you at the time. Don't be too hard on yourself, you did what you thought was best.

They're threatening to send a legal notice and they told me that I'll have to hire a lawyer and that I'll be sent to prison for a few years.

Wow! They were just spouting words that they hoped would scare the OP enough to not go through with the refund process. They do not even understand that even when academic dishonesty is proven, the worst case scenario is that the student will be expelled and blacklisted from partner universities and colleges. There is no prison term attached to using academic writing services.

Well, that sentence just caught my eye so I felt a need to say something about it. What I actually want to say in this case is that the company received its just punishment since it is now no longer in existence. I guess their threatening ways did not work among the students and the refund demands just piled up to an unimaginable scale, leading to bankruptcy. A possible scenario since the company never had a good academic writing image in the first place.
