The writer did not follow instructions, English was not their native language, sentences as statements of fact without reference. Also paid for unlimited revisions only to be asked for more money. They guarantee a 1st! It is laughable. Over £500 for rubbish.

They claim to be a UK Company but are not registered at companies house and will not give their company number. = SCAM

If a website looks like it has been written by someone who is not a native English speaker, then why would you give them £500 to write an essay?

It was only after receiving a draft and subsequent revisions that it became apparent.

You missed my point. The text on the website should have alerted you to the fact that they are rubbish...
"All our writers have at least two years of continuous writing practice, and each of them is a high-level professional in his particular field. All their knowledge and writing skills are validated by certificates, diplomas and years of experience. Our online essay writing service provides you only with a truly expert assistance. Every single writer we hire passes a number of tests and examinations first, which proves his professional skills and personal attributes."

... it's a shame they don't put their copywriter through the same rigours.

I could go through and do a line by line textual analysis of the errors and odd syntax which screams out that it wasn't written by a native English speaker, but I ain't that bored.

I couldn't agree more though I am also an ESL writer. Most probably, some people do not pay attention to the we copy because they might be too pressed for time. Or, it is also possible, given the sophisticated and highly interactive interface of the website, that they readily assume that this website is legit.

One more time, everyone: if you're going to operate in the (English) essay writing industry, try having the least clue about how it is spoken/written as a living language.

Unemployedprofessors' web copy, while okay in regards to correct English usage, also appears to have been written by jaded weasels. How are you finding that organization?

Editor75, is that addressed to me?

If so, I'm getting a fair bit of work, but I possibly pitch my bids too high for some. I think there are some writers who just bid on everything irrespective of area of expertise. Two of my jobs were fixing previous jobs which were piss poor.

I have made the decision to have a fairly high price per page rate (which after deductions etc is still only about £12ph) and only pick stuff I have actually studied, so I'm getting good feedback and repeat business.

I think people there are jaded, but it is at least honest.

Okay; thanks for the feedback. I get a bad vibe from the place, not that that's stopped me from applying.

I had a fair amount of communication beforehand about if they fine writers (they don't), what their cut is (25%) and how they preserve my anonymity (you have your own username and everything is through the website). I was reassured by the responses and I had some other email correspondence about a writing gig I took on and they were helpful, replied quickly and so on. You also get your own profile so customers get an idea of your background. There are a variety of papers offered for bid but I'm guessing most of the writers are social sciences/humanities as they attract the most bids. Anyone with a hard science or statistics background would be busy, I should think (wish I had worked harder on SPSS!).

I've not written for any other companies, though I've been accepted by graduate writers and custom papers. Custom papers has a horrible format, you have to look on the page, no email notifications nothing. I'm assuming that if a bid is accepted then you do get a notification. Grad writers is mostly masters and above from the ones I've seen and a lot of it is outside my field of study. I don't mind for undergrad papers, but at higher levels I don't feel confident enough to produce a good paper in say English lit.

You're on the right track if you know to stay away from companies that monetize their penalty systems.

I would not trust this company because they have several other writing arms that do not deliver as promised. The affiliate companies are:

ozpaperhelp.com,
student assignment help,
html assignment help,
assignment help 4 me,
sas assignment help

These companies are well known problematic and / or scam academic "writing" helpers that do not offer any real help to the students. The papers are dismal to average at best. They cannot deliver their guaranteed grades and the writers are lousy at keeping the client informed. Stay away from this and its partner companies.

The company and its affiliates are no longer available online. These domains are available to the highest bidder at the moment. Meaning the original owner has let go of his rights to use the domain name and has more than likely pulled out of the business. It will be difficult to sell these names though since the negative reputation of the companies precede them in a deep investigation of the domain name history. I sincerely doubt we will see any of these names come active again anytime in the near future.
