Due to recent personal events in my life, I am offering this to all students who require urgent help in their assignments. All I ask for is your feedback :)

It's not a bad idea, but they would have to post their feedback publicly (here?) for it have a desirable effect :).

Free essays in exchange for feedback? Talk about a bad business decision. Why on earth would you give away your hard work for feedback? It seems you are a bit cocky and overconfident with regards to your writing qualifications. Something tells me that you should not be trusted as a writer. Your post reeks of a scam. i don't believe in giving away the milk and the cow, which is what you are doing. Either you get paid for your work or you don't. I mean, what kind of service will you give a client if you are not paid for the work you are doing? Nope. I would not be confident in hiring a writer who is willing to give away work in exchange for feedback. There has got to be a hidden agenda in this agreement and the poor student won't know that until he has gotten way deep into this trap that you have set. As the saying goes, "nothing comes for free". So what is it that you are trying to pull here? Be honest. It can't be free essays in exchange for reviews. What are the grounds for placing the order? How many pages? What topics? You better come clean with your intentions so that students can gain some assurance regarding the quality of your work and the reasons you will be doing these papers in exchange for feedback and nothing more.

Recently saw another writer in some forum offering free outlines and saying, "You may use the outline to develop your essay even if you don't hire me." or something similar. I didn't get how that would work but I'm curious as to whether it would.

I have never heard of anyone who is in the business of not making money. That is, until now. There is no sense of offering free essays just so a writer can get feedback. I mean, any decent writer would say "Your feedback is good, but I need cash!" If a writer allows a student to get used to getting free essays, there is absolutely no way he will be able to transition into a paid gig over the long term. He will become known as the "feedback writer" and definitely become popular, but he's going to have lint in his pocket instead of money.

I agree that this is definitely a bad business decision. I also don't doubt that this writer never made money and he eventually changed his line of work. He'll have to eventually. He isn't making any money to pay for his expenses. Although, he's probably got excellent feedback for the free papers though. Hahaha!

If he's legit, he might just be hoping that a good outline might convince some prospective clients that the writer knows what he's doing, because students often have a lot of trouble even with the outline stage. For a more experienced writer, a typical undergrad essay can be outlined in a few minutes, which might make that a worthwhile investment if gets him a few new clients, especially if he's starting out in this business and doesn't yet have a client base.

I get the concept, but I'd recommend offering a discount for new clients versus offering free work. If you're dead set on giving away work, then maybe 1 page when ordering 3-5 pages or more. But flat out free?

Offering free essays will not result in a regular client base. You will however, end up with a bunch of other students wondering if they can get a test paper from you for an actual research paper. That is not exactly the best way to promote your services. It opens you up to student abuse since he will be able to boss you around and get a free paper out of it. Then you will feel really dumb for having started this badly conceptualized promotional stunt. If they don't get the grade they want, they will be pissed off. If they do get the grade they want? They won't even remember to thank you.

It would appear that the offer of the OP landed on deaf ears since he did not really report back with anything positive in this thread. He sort of just disappeared. Free essays would never have been an audience draw because students can easily find free essays online for them to use. They can even have AI draw up a sample essay these days. Paid services by human writers will always be best. It is the best way to find a regular writer who can actually create far better research papers for students than any AI ever can.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.
