There are several ways:

A nonprofit organization dedicated to searching for stuff.

A top-notch private detective.

A good huntin' dog.

... or use "WHOIS" (pronounced as the phrase who is) which is a query and response protocol that is widely used for querying databases that store the registered users or assignees of an Internet resource, such as a domain name."

the same company owns both plagspotter and plagtracker - how ironic... first you offer questionable services that are basically helping students cheat then you go and finance a plagiarism tracking tool with the money earned by cheating

It's a way for them to take in thousands of papers that they don't own and use them for their purposes down the road. Remember, they are based in Ukraine, so they don't exactly respect US copyright law.

Plag Tracker

Help.plagtracker review

Hello everyone,

First of all, I would like to apologize for my grammar because I am international student.
I used help.plagtracker twice and I wanna share my experience.
I used them just for editing and I decided to do my own work because I read bunch of unpleasant reports from this form.

The first editor was pretty great, he/she corrected my mistakes for grammar and formatting. I was quite satisfied about it. Also, they required me to make a call to confirm the payment. They sound like American. It costs $1xx something for 10+ pages and deliver on time.

The second editor was clearly ESL, but he/she has a good attitude and polite. He/she fixed my formatting again. It costs $8x 7 pages and deliver on time,

Just like what other members said, everything depends on luck..

They are offering writing service now but I am not sure what the quality will be.

Hope it helps,
Alison

You are correct to be concerned with the quality of the papers that you may receive for them. I'm an American writer and i live in Washington DC and let me help you with your papers. And you'll get an unplagirized paper. my email address is @gmail

It is not uncommon for these companies to set up various domain names, all leading to the same server in an effort to gain more business for themselves. The students normally fail to track the owners of the service they opt to use, so they never realize that they have just submitted their papers to a company that will keep their work on file, making it highly possible for their original work to get flagged once it is reviewed by the professor for plagiarism. The only way to safely avoid plagiarism, in my opinion, is to not try and track it for plagiarism at all. That way the paper is never submitted to any server, both legitimate and illegitimate, where its existence may pose a problem for the student later on.

This glorified writing service uses the guise of a legitimate plagiarism tracker for their data collection means. They are not honest about their services. They do not tell you that they are keeping your paper on file and that they will be contacting you in the future about the said paper, hoping to blackmail you before you graduate. That is the modus that they pull. They actually prefer to have lower class clients than senior class members using their services. The lower year levels allows the company a better chance of using all the information they collect once the student reaches his senior year. It is all about fear timing for them. Making sure they can inflict maximum fear into the student and ensuring that the student will be more than willing to pay up in the process. Students do not understand this when they sign up for the service. They do not even bother to check who the owners are and if there have been complaints about the company. There have been complaints and it is up to the students to find that information for themselves. There are more reputable plagiarism checkers out there, find those and use those instead.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

If you're trying to find out the current owner of PlagTracker.com, I recommend using domain registration lookup tools, WHOIS databases, or conducting online research to gather the most accurate and current information about the website's ownership. Keep in mind that ownership details can change over time, and it's always best to verify information through reliable sources.
