Reminders-Forum Policies: The Gross Violators and Spammers

This is a very telling and informative thread. It enlightened me about why a certain group would want overall control of the forum. Which led me to wonder why they did not create their own version of Es sothat they would have that domain all to themselves. Anyway, it appears that there a few holdouts left. Mostly those whopayto stay and promote themselves. With any luck, their attitudes will change and they will become more helpful and less self. centered when participating in threads. I've always believed that bullying has no place at ES. Even if there was a time when that group could do nothing but. Even if they still sometimes fall into the habit because that's just whothey are.

In the several months that I have been a member of this forum, I would have to say that I have yet to experience any level of bullying here. Then again, save for FLW, I don't think the other names are still active in the business, hence their absence at this forum. The atmosphere is peaceful and pretty much helpful. The posts are informative and mostly updated. Is this now a friendly place to be? Perhaps.

I see this forum as having more of a live and let live atmosphere these days. Related perhaps to the fact that the cover of the questionable sites and sites having been blown long ago. All that is left now is for the surviving companies and writers to figure out a way to get along. I guess ignoring each other would be one way of doing that? Regardless, the forum still manages to exist for the purpose with which it was created, to help studenth avoid writing scams.
