I'm currently a consultant on a number of international college and masters degree application essays lately.
The most common denominator these days in the applications seems to be a focus on incoming freshmen within the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
I could not help but wonder, since STEM is mostly focused on experimentation and specialized research, could this be the break the legitimate academic writers have been looking for in their quest to end the horrors that the third rate companies and their zero quality writers have been spreading across the academic side of the web? Could it be that because of the intricate method by which these papers are written, that the pretenders will finally throw in the towel and admit that they are nothing but a farce?
If one does not have the ability to complete the research in the required setting, and one can barely explain what he is doing in English, then perhaps they will finally stop trying to sell themselves as expert writers in whatever STEM field that is? Could they successfully paint themselves into a corner from where they cannot extricate themselves?
There is no way the STEM projects can be plagiarized in the manner that ordinary essay papers can. So maybe, just maybe, this could be the end of the scam companies and their writers pool?
