The essay writer said there is a huge market for his services, and finding clients is easy because there are always students with money who don't want to do the work.

"This is one of the jobs where there is so much demand out there," he said.

The same essay writer has to spam different websites, use multiple English-sounding names / emails, and offer a 30% discount on their services. The "huge market" legend is still alive ; ).

"These people don't care about school and like to party," he said. "They just want to graduate and that's it."

I've seen web copies with a similar theme. "You go party, we will do your essay." Where do these journalists find those "essay writers" who think students use example research services for no other reason than to have fun?

It could be propaganda. They want to achieve a certain goal (discourage students from using model paper services) so they create a false person ("essay writer") and match the whole story to their needs. Another possibility is that this essay writer actually exists, but they specifically chose him/her out of 10 other writers that would contradict the point of their story.

It is a serious offense and a very grave academic crime because it not only undermines a person's intelligence, but also does an injustice to the person whose ideas were used because he/she was not acclaimed for his/her work.

Crystal Gale,

I don't feel comfortable calling you Chris, because I've been a long-time fan and your music has meant a lot to me. I just wanted to say that I think you're one of the best country music singers out there, and I think your long hair is awesome. I never imagined that you would show up on this website.

Plagiarism at the Highest Levels

Detect Plagiarismhe following quote is taken from an NPR Article by Annalisa Quinn: A precedent has been set that "one of the world's most prominent living public intellectuals" has said that it is okay to borrow passages from another work and use them un-cited so long as you have permission.

Annalisa Quinn further wrote:

"NPR asked whether he considered it acceptable to borrow, even with permission, the words of a friend without citing the source. Geek responded: 'My friend not only agreed, he wrote those words for my use! Plus they are a resume of a book, not any creative development of ideas. So I really don't see a problem here."

It turns out that the passages were taken from a white supremacist journal. I find it funny that a central European charlatan is found plagiarizing the work of a white American who hates Africans. Sounds like some of the crap I've learned about here in this forum.

There you have it kids, er, I mean, potential clients! One of the academic gods has basically said that it is okay to buy your papers. That's my interpretation and I'm sticking to it because it seems to fit with the reality I have lived in the basement of the ivory tower.

This is just the latest in what I have learned about the nefarious ways in which high level academics get ahead. It is not just this guy; I suspect that this is just the tip of the iceberg. Those glitches in the academic matrix are real.

See the article: npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2014/07/14/331320060/book-news-famed-philosopher-accused-of-plagiarizing-white-separatist-journal.

Oh yeah, for you butt monkeys who will bash me for my informal citation, this was accessed today.

Where do these journalists find those "essay writers" who think students use example research services for no other reason than to have fun?

Truth be told, this is the very information that was fed to me when I first entered the world of academic writing. The first company I signed up with always had a long list of short turn around time paper orders. Eventually, I started asking questions and management responded that the reason I have a job that pays so highly is because "The students can't be bothered to write their papers. They have too many parties to attend on weekends." It is actually the companies that propagated that myth which I slowly learned could only be partially true.

Most of the clients I had later on for short turn orders were mostly students who worked part-time and really could not have had the time to work on their papers. The reason most of them gave, when I asked why they ordered their paper so late was that they still needed to earn their salary while attending regular classes. The work part did not leave them with enough time to do their homework and special projects anymore so they needed to hire the extra help. Unfortunately, they normally had to wait for their weekly salary to come in before they could place an order for the paper. There is only a "partial truth" to the

You go party...

tagline that the companies use.

I don't think a serious / legitimate company would consider students / their customers to be mere tools who want to do nothing but party (maybe partying is a part of culture in Ukraine or Pakistan though, who knows).

I actually thought the same thing. Being the inquisitive person that I am though, I decided to look further into their claims and came up with some interesting information. I learned that there are actually a number of universities, whose names I will not mention here, that are known as "party schools". While the schools will never openly admit to it, the lifestyle of their students on campus is enough of a confirmation of the moniker attached to the university. The university just doesn't force the students to pay attention to the academic side of their college life as the "stone sober" universities do. Since the students of these schools party harder than they study, some of them become regular clients of the academic writing companies. At least, that is what the companies implied each time I asked. Then again, you may have a point about the academic writing company underestimating the students. Who knows what kind of lifestyle the college students in those countries lead. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not. Let's take it with a grain of salt :-)

Right... . "party schools" .. attracting gullible students who end up learning nothing useful (well maybe except for making friends or building connections).

Well, if we think about "party" universities in that context, then it does seem like the partying for 4 years does serve a purpose doesn't it? That is, if we consider that college is said to be that time in a person's life when he makes lifelong friendships and plants the seeds for his future business networks. That can't be done in the classroom, but it can be done after academic hours during social activities. Yeah, if you understand the business concept / model in that context, I can see why the academic outsourcing companies and others (in the scam) would consider the students "gullible" enough to fall for their sales pitches. It isn't that the student is on the lazy side or anything. It's that the companies encourage them to not do the work so that they can "help" (scam) them to get better grades. They may not learn much in the classroom, but they'll probably learn just enough to maybe, become the next Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg. I'm exaggerating here but I'm sure you know what I mean :-)

Oh for ****'s sake. Partying for 4 years when you're young is just common sense and it can generate far more desirable memories (and networking opportunities) than toiling away in a hot-ass kitchen ("do you want fries with that?") for minimum wage. You have to pay your dues at some point in time, and the sooner you get it over with the better. Gain a work ethic (that's the only good thing about minimum wage jobs) and an education and you'll get the job you want and prosper. It'll be GREAT! Trust me .... (have lots of kids -- that'll keep you humble).

Well, as the kids of Lori Loughin have proven, not even having an academic writer on stand by to complete their college requirements will be enough when they spend their time partying and calling undue attention to themselves. Kids like that don't care about the kind of work that they turn in, as long as something gets turned in. Their parent's money, at least for a period of time, bought their way through the educational system. College students from rich families look forward to getting started in college mostly because they will finally be on their own, and really be able to party since there are no parents around anymore they have to answer to. Not that the kids of Loughlin ever had to answer for their actions (it seems).

Students that use AI to write their essays cannot avoid plagiarism detection. Their paper is usually 100% plagiarized anyway. So going to an actual writer to help them avoid plagiarism could help them instead of harming them. These days, the human writers are the student's best bet when it comes to trying to achieve a proper grade using a paper that uses human thought and logic to develop the content. That is what makes the paper original in the first place.
