Students should learn to write their own papers... some advice

According to a research I conducted recently, about 80% of students who order research papers online are, in fact, capable of writing their own papers and, in most cases, produce far much better quality than even the much hyped 'American writers.'

Learn to WriteWhat students forget is that these online writers rarely spend REAL time with their orders as they are in a rush to grab the next assignment.

If students can follow the tips below, they wouldn't find it necessary to hire any writer.

a) Proper time planning- reduce the number of hours you spend in bars.

b) Appropriate research skills- with decent research skills, students can really grasp the mechanics of producing good essays.

c) Assistance from lecturers- these tutors are decent enough to help students understand the intricacies involved in academic writing.

There is no point for a student to spend $1000 hiring an incompetent moron like JohnMoron...sorry...JohnMoms when such a student can even produce a better paper than the hired slave.

Additionally, the student will be equipped with research skills that will come in handy later in life.

To all students: I don't write essays for students/ don't own any essay website.

Ever since I joined this forum, many students have been contacting me, requesting me to either write their essays OR direct them to "my" website so that they can make their orders.

While this clearly demonstrates the trust that students have in my abilities and integrity, I want to state the following:
a)I don't write essays for students. Additionally, I have never written papers for students and have no plans of doing so.
b)I don't own, have never owned, and will never own an essay writing website.
I know this is disheartening to students, but that is the reality. Not even $100 per page can ever make me sit down and write an essay for someone else.

The only reason I joined this forum is to help students avoid scams, particularly scams from "native" American writers. Further, I also believe I have exposed the sheer hypocrisy synonymous with those who claim they are here to help students when, in fact, they are just dirty shills whoring their writing services.

Measurable Objectives

No valid assessment can be made in any field without the use of measurable objectives. Without measurable objectives, evaluation of what has occurred will be haphazard at best, and perhaps grossly misinformed at worst. Measurable objectives are an integral part of the teaching-learning process, and are used primarily to drive assessment of the learning and measure the efficacy of programs and individual success. It is the difference between opinion and fact. Measures, by definition, are quantitative and give the ability to separate scores based on actual evidence of achievement, rather than supposed achievement. Although much goes into any individual performance, measurable objectives are the best way to fairly assess the status of any learning that has occurred.

Defining objectives in measurable terms determines what information needs to be collected in order to make appropriate evaluations and decisions based on objective data. (New Mexico State University). Those kinds of evaluations and decisions are crucial to the learning process, making measurable objectives a valuable and important part of the completion of the task. That is their function, and to ignore the objectives is to waste the effort involved in the process in the first place, and to end up with no evaluative data that is useful.

In order to teach well and to be effective as a facilitator of learning, it is vitally important to get the kinds of information needed to make valid decisions about planning for future learning and about the kinds of things that are taught. It really is all about validity. Teachers are paid to present information in such a way that student mastery is at least a possibility. If there is no fair way to determine whether that has occurred, one cannot be sure that it has indeed occurred. Making objectives measurable ensures that how well something has been taught is measurable, and that the data is valid with regard to the content of what is taught.

Capitalism and Education

The institution of education is a crucial linchpin between an individual and his or her quality of life. Because the integrity of education depends upon the adequate funding of schools, changes in the economy can drastically impact the way that this institution functions. The following discussion will examine the potential flaws in the capitalist system to adequately and consistently fund education.

Foster argues that the correspondence principle explains how the social relations of education are linked to the social relations of production so needs for labor controls both school curriculum and teacher's work to reproduce privilege. Foster's use of evidence is a strength. Corporate model alternatives, including charter schools, serve its own interests for new markets, but fail to deliver superior educational outcomes. The main weakness is that there are other ways to interpret the evidence Foster uses. Teachers and their goals and purpose are one example. Public schools are still funded by property taxes not the state and federal governments, so local school boards and teachers are responsible for corporate incursions. Even though Foster prefers to view teachers as radical outsiders, they too support standardization but want it delinked from their performance. Thus it seems more likely that teacher anger is aimed less at the commodification of students than their own lack of freedom. Since teacher opposition is crucial to the argument, stronger evidence, like that against charter schools, would have helped.

There is little doubt that if poverty is not to have an impact on educational outcomes for children then public schools must continue to be public. In some senses the funding issue per child, which is always in the papers, is wrong so privatization is not the answer. Yes DC pays more per student than many "rich" school districts, but included in the DC budget is not just teacher's salaries. In the poor districts across America, they lack a lower tax base to finance schools and decent infrastructure. The schools have century-old boiler systems, sagging roofs, leaking windows. The cost to keep infrastructure going must also be factored in. Rather than paying teachers more, or giving kids quality up-to-date facilities and textbooks, the money goes to infrastructure. Thus privitizing public education will most certainly ensure that the 23% of America's children growing up in poverty will be more than likely to die that way too, since corporate money will go where there is the best return on the dollar: new schools with the best teachers. The circle will continue doing little to close the so-called "achievement gaps."

The guidelines you provide to help the students do their own research does not take several points into consideration. One of these points is that the students may be capable of writing their papers but their time management skills are non-existent. A student who is paying his way through school needs to work as many jobs as possible to keep himself afloat and in school. So, while he has time to attend classes, extra time to do the homework and projects may not exist. Which is why they need additional assistance. Another factor is that students are afraid to approach their lecturers for help because they fear the repercussions of such an action. Students often think that when they approach the professor for help, that the professor may think they are incapable of handling the class requirements and the impression that is created will lower their grades because their professor doesn't have confidence in the student's ability to complete the class and its requirements in a proper manner. These students will then seek the help of a professional academic writer in order to avoid creating the wrong impression or having to admit to their professor that they are falling behind in class and need help.

Students are taught the basics of essay and research paper writing in their early education years. By the time they reach college, they are expected to know how to write at least a basic research paper. So it is wrong of the OP to say that students should learn how to write their own papers. Rather, students should be motivated to write their own papers. The problem, is that as a college student, they most have to write papers in classes that are minor instead of major classes for their degree. That is why they lack the inspiration to write their own papers.

In the instances when students have to write papers in their minor classes, I can understand why they would want to pass it off to an academic writer. When it comes to writing their paper for a major class, they are mostly inspired to do their own writing. In fact, I have had previous clients who have turned to me, not to have me write their papers, but to ask for my advice as to how they can further improve their already well written paper. That is the difference between having a student write a paper based on a subject he is interested in and when he is forced to write a paper that he could care less or nothing about.

Exactly. For instance, a psychology major is less likely to be motivated to finish a history essay. I know I hate the majority of the "fluff" and "prerequisite" courses. And don't even get me started on the required college math courses for all students. By the time a student enters college, the courses should be solely related to their major, which is where their passion lies. All the additions bog the student down, lead to burnout, and risk overall failure. I'm glad to be able to help fill that gap so my clients can focus on the areas where they will be applying efforts the rest of their adult/working life. For instance, I'd rather know that my doctor was learning the practice of medicine and understanding how to treat and health instead of writing papers. Just because a student writes a knock-out essay on a medical topic doesn't mean they will practice that area with the proficiency I want for my health care. The same applies to all career paths. ;)

There are also instances when the university and colleges themselves encourage the students to find a student to write a paper for them or, hire a writing service, paid for by the college or university. However, these instances are limited solely to the athletes, jocks, and other students who bring glory to the university or college by performing well at muscle based events. These athletic scholars, athletes, and other varsity players normally spend more time on the field and outside the classroom than inside the classroom. So they tend to miss classes, exams, projects, homework, you name it, they missed it. As we all know, an athlete who fails his class cannot play, so the pressure is on to help the athlete produce acceptable grades in class. The coaches can only do so much. So when it comes time for the student to make up his dismal performance, professionals are often called in to help achieve the grading goals.

It appears that this thread is in bad need of updating. Students would laugh at the discussion that took place in this thread. AI has made writing their projects too easy these days. If the students these days need to learn anything, it is how to use AI responsibly so that they do not violate academic rules and regulations because they relied too much on the validity of the AI generated paper. While they are still taught how to write papers in school, I sincerely doubt that they are paying attention to those lessons. They are too busy learning how to use AI to make their academic life easier, on their own.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

Exactly. This is one of the main reasons that this industry exists in the first place: Assigning essays to students preparing to work in fields that involve no writing is a waste of their time, as is assigning essays in elective courses that students wouldn't even bother taking if they weren't necessary just to satisfy arbitrary mandatory general-studies requirements. Students majoring in Chemistry, Engineering, and Nursing, (just for a few of countless examples), shouldn't have to waste their time writing essays, in the first place.
