How did you first learn about Rice University and what motivated you to apply?

During the time of my sophomore year I was concerned with finding a University of excellent reputation without leaving home. One day different colleges visited my high school, there I found out about Rice and its academics in the fields of interest, I visited the campus as part of a field trip in the summer of my junior, the facilities impressed me.

Rice's Bachelor of Architecture degree is innovative and rigorous in its study's program among other universities. What caught my attention is the Preceptorship program that places students in distinguished offices around the world for a year of experience. Working overseas will be an unique experience to gain professional skills in the field of architecture.

As someone who has been worried about the environment since I was a child, protect the world where we live is a priority. Rice Environmental Club is the right place to learn how to take care of our environment, mainly because of its mission to educate students about sustainable development and the sense of a community working arduously.

In addition to explore the field of Environmental Analysis in order to obtain the ability to predict environmental problems. Knowing the consequences of our actions before we put them in the process and prevent them is important.

Given these points Rice offers the convenience to become a cultivated person from constructing a building to an organic garden. I envision an exciting journey full of quality education in every exclusive coursework.
