In this section, it is expected to explain the following details: your academic and social experiences relating the field you want to take an education in, your reason for choosing Turkey for study and the importance of your future plans for your education and scholarship in Turkey. You can write the letter of intent in the language you can express yourself.

I am a student who is eager to learn new things. Therefore, during my school years, I was actively involved in academic and non-academic activities. In academics, I have made several website-based applications individually and in groups. When working with a group, I am often given back-end responsibility because I am more proficient in back-end website creation and development. I also participated in an internship for 3 months as a back-end developer.

Computer EngineerAs a back-end developer intern, I do analysis for website requirements, create databases, and create program code. To increase my knowledge, I also took online courses through the Coursera application and Microsoft Education to learn basic things about IoT and AI. In addition, I am actively working on additional projects from my teacher and helping my friends to overcome syntax errors. In the non-academic field, I actively participated in school organizations such as the programmer's club and the art club at school. I also participated in compulsory scouting activities at school for one year. I have also been involved in committee activities for school events as a decoration committee, which taught me about time management and teamwork. I graduated with a score of 89 out of 100 and became one of the best graduates in non-academic fields.

In order to learn more about programming, I think Turkey is a very good country to study in this field because universities in Turkey have produced many quality software developers. Based on data from Deel, Software engineers from Turkey have been behind numerous other successful tech companies, including the $3.3b online learning platform Udemy and fintech platform Iyzico, which was acquired by PayU for $165m in 2020. In addition, Software engineering skills in Turkey align with global trends.

The most popular programming languages and frameworks among Turkish developers are in line with the languages that companies use around the world. In addition, based on data from HackerRank, Turkey occupies the 30th position as the country with the best developers.

Those facts clearly state Turkey as an IT country and at the same time become a strong argument for me to study there. Currently, Indonesia has a lot of human resources but still lacks many qualified workers in the IT field. Therefore, I want to be one of the qualified workforces, and seeking knowledge in Turkey will be very helpful in realizing my dream. In addition, this scholarship will greatly help me financially because studying in Indonesia requires a fairly high cost. In addition, there are costs for the necessities of life that are not small. Meanwhile, my mother paid for me alone since my father and mother divorced. Therefore, this scholarship will mean a lot to me.

Additional item
If you have a subject in your application documents that you think is not clear enough and you want to explain, or if you want to draw the attention of the evaluation committee, please briefly explain in this section. You can write the description in the language you can express yourself.

While attending SMK Telkom Malang, I learned to live independently because I didn't live with my parents. I learned how to manage the allowance my parents gave me. Initially, I failed to manage my finances properly and caused my monthly money to run out in no time. But after dividing the allotted expenses, I can manage my pocket money so that it is enough for one month.

In addition, I also learned to manage time so that my assignments can be completed on time but I can still explore Malang with my friends. I can also adapt in a new environment quickly because I like meeting new people. When in a new environment I always try to think positively and don't hesitate to start a conversation first. Some of my friends think I'm too noisy so I think it will be better if I also learn about public speaking in Turkey.

If I get this scholarship, I want to take part in many academic and non-academic activities. I want to take part in IT competitions, seminars, join PPI Turkey, student clubs on campus, and also participate in volunteer activities. By participating in non-academic activities, I can make many friends and reduce homesickness.

After graduating, I want to be a person who can improve the quality of the IT workforce in Indonesia by working in an Indonesian company and creating a website or videos on Youtube to share my knowledge in the IT field so that Indonesian children who are interested in the IT field can learn as early as possible. I will also share my experience studying in Turkey through Youtube and help students who want to get scholarships abroad, especially to Turkey.
