Taking the GED Exam is often mentioned as a provider of these services, but I'd like to know how effective they really are. Has anyone here actually gone through this process? Was it quick and problem-free, or did you face unexpected issues?

I get that some people need a faster path to their GED because of jobs or school deadlines. But does outsourcing the exam actually solve problems or create new ones?
