Enough of language criticisms. Important for writers but what I'm interested in is the story of essaywriterswriter.

If you and the others didn't get your salary, you can supposedly file your complaint with ic3.gov. I got this tip from another forum. I think everyone who's been victimized should lodge his or her complaints against essaywriters.net[DND*]'s scams!

hey! i've also been RIPPED OFF by ESSAYWRITERS! i completed 32 orders for them, 20 payable THIS WEEK (for the "combined" payment periods of Dec. 16 and Jan. 1). they kept giving excuses about "something not right or incomplete with my payment details. under vague guidelines, i kept re-editing the details and when finally they "VERIFIED" them, they say the accountant's already on holiday which they later changed to "accountant doesn't work outside payment terms", etc. this, when they earlier kep promising thru email, chat and messaging system that they'll pay on time! Help me and the others! Essaywriters.net is a BIG SCAM of a website!

because i gave them an ultimatum and i was kinda hoping they'll pay before.

i got that info when i was already worried whether they'll pay me or not. they were giving all kinds of lame excuses to delay.

i gave them up to over an hour ago to pay and give me the tracking no. they did however say some 20 hours ago that i'll shortly receive my money. just now, minutes ago, they told me they'll "try ur best (sic)" to pay me today or tom. i'll wait for 23 hours and will get back to you guys and gals.

hey gals and guys, i've got news for you. they sent me my earnings of $385 for the combined periods! just now via xoom. this forum works! although i still have $198 with them for the Jan. 15 payment period. let's wait if they process that too. don't lose hope pineapple and jaebaeli. but i'll remain vigilant for the 12 orders still unpaid due Jan. 15-17. gosh, i worked so so hard for my money.

Jan 06, 2007

Pineapple, jaebaeli, akash and devangini to date seemed not yet paid. This forum should not be closed unless everyone's paid--the reason for being of this thread. I agree though that we should all be polite, without stepping on the freedom of expression.

no way i'll still be writing for them! i stopped doing so the first time i posted here. i'm just waiting for my $200 due this payment period and which they promised to pay me after they released the $350+ two weeks ago.

i just wanna ask you guys and gals if they made payment for what they owe the writers in the past, the writers who posted here in particularly.

i'm waiting for payment for the essays i did between the 16th and 31st of december 2006.

i know i'm still lucky compared with some here because i got my $385. after they sent me my FIRST salary (i started around nov. 28, and yes, they do delay even for first-timers), they promised i'll still get what's due for this payment period.

last jan. 15, i reminded them of what they owe me. here's the reply:

[Support] [Writer] January 15 19:22
"payment periods are from 15 th and 18th, thus you can receive your salary between 16 th and 19th; we certainly will inform you once we have transfered money.

Daniel Fireade."

i sent another reminder and here's what they had to say:

[Support] [Writer] January 17 9:04
"you will be paid in 24hs "

it's way past 24 hours and i'm hoping they're just encountering processing delays. i sure need the $200.

Jan 18, 2007

maybe "esther" can enlighten us on the matter........

this got in just a while ago:

[Support] [Writer] January 18: "payments are transfered today. "

if true, then maybe we'll have reasons to cheer up, pineapple123. hopefully, the others as well.

Is essaywriters.net going to pay its writers or not?????

Here's the last message I got:

[Support] [Writer] January 19

"funds will be transfered within 24 hours. Please don't worry"

The 3rd such message 3 days in a row.

i have to say this gals and guys: i just got my payment due jan. 15-18. finally.

i'm just grateful they released it even when i no longer write for them.

why it has to take them so long and only after a long series of follow-up messages, we all have the idea.

Jan 22, 2007

if you gals and guys will allow me, maybe we can let alisha be. let's give her a chance. maybe she just badly needs the money offered that's why she opts to wait and see. because, really, the order rates are somewhat higher than some non-american/british non-academic writing sites.

the problem with that company is that the management has bad business sense, as jaebaeli earlier opined. instead of paying well and on time and enjoy good PR and smooth business flow, they much prefer to take as much as they can off their writers.
essayer
Jan 22, 2007

This is NOT just an example of bad business sense. This is what we call FRAUD!

screaming F_ _ _ _.

that was merely an intended understatement.

onedrfl, do you notice that the sympathizers (likely essaywriters.net goons) are obviously not familiar with US law?

in whatever land you go to, that's undeniably "F_ _ _ _ "

i just choose to be nice with my word choice, for the time being that is. after all, they just released my salary.

onerdrfl and amy1978, i apologize for the mix-up.

anyway, you got my point. i just feel lucky i got my payment when others here still haven't. i don't feel like hitting hard this moment.

Jan 25, 2007

See? Most of the people here got already their salaries at essaywriters... Even my sister-in-law got hers and my 2 friends were able to received theirs too.

everyone should.

akash, jaebaeli and, i think, devangini and fanaticalteacher to go.
essayer
Jan 26, 2007

great news akash and pineapple.

akash, at least you have something to look forward to. if they're still alive by april, that is.........

how about fanaticalteacher and especially devangini? based on the earlier postings of this thread, the latter hasn't visited us in a while. i'm just interested whether he has already been paid or whether he has completely given up hope of ever seeing his due earnings.
essayer
Jan 29, 2007

if you ask me, i'm "more" certain of "esther" being an essaywriters' liaison. maybe alisha's the type to give people or entities the benefit of the doubt.

So far, I was not promoted. Is there anything to it or should I just call these guys and ask?

i got 2 level upgrades: the 1st enabled me to take on multiple essays while the 2nd practically served no purpose because while it was supposed to lead to higher-priced orders, my window reflected the same minimum of $4. the upgrades were based, at least in part, on VS survery ratings.

Jan 31, 2007

Essayer, you are obviously still working for them. Amazing!

onedrfl, "essaywriterwriter" and essayer are 2 different posters! :)

Could you please tell what message does the chat pasted above tries to convey?

i have to agree that what you did essaywriterwriter was rather disagreeable. lazy those students may be, they provide at least part of the bread and butter of academic writers. besides, i'm a believer in good customer service.

but i do reckon with the fact that your starting this important forum thread did well for many. were it not for you, we'd probably remain unpaid, for a long time at the very least.

on the other, essaywriter writer was not alone there. correct me if i'm wrong but 2 other disgruntled, former writers here did "sabotage" acts by taking multiple orders without doing them.

pineapple, what they did was akin to a labor or transportation strike. in order to get the message (non-payment) across, they took a punch at the business and the clients got to be affected. the bottom line is it's essaywriters.net's scamming ways that should be blamed.

i tried to access it today amy1978--i didn't have "permission" to do so. what i did then was to go to the home site by deleting all characters after ".net/" and thereafter, i was greeted by:

"Sorry. site is closed to upgrade forum engine".
essayer
Feb 07, 2007

thank you esther for asking that. being essaywriter's liaison here, your last posting only means that your company has decided to pay everyone.

i only wish management has vowed to make that a matter of policy. you see, regular and prompt payment is more efficient PR and makes for sound business management.

but wait, i'm really interested in devangini. what about jaebaeli. would you know if they've been paid?

Perhaps they're not paying you on account of the poor quality of your written English ;-)

From any good writing companies? forum:

Ezekiel: "I'm a student who writes all their own essays...."

You're not perfect yourself Ezekiel.

if your payment option is via Xoom, then you will have to wait "until the 1st of April." They posted a notice that Xoom reps supposedly informed them of the overuse of the limit.

The best way to work with essaywriters.net as a freelancer and get paid on time is always pick the order with few number of references.

how does the number of references relate to being paid on time? what about the choice of urgent orders? why would you know that?

i disagree. i don't think they'll ever pay on time. i'm inclined to believe onedrfl's view that they probably don't have an accountant, a full-time one at least.

amy1978, can you check

t's a fact, there is a transfer limit for xoom.com transactions.. xoom.com can only send up to $3000 dollars worth of money transactions within a time frame of one month

amy, can you check this out? how true?

in my case, the money transfer was initiated but canceled. so now i have to wait two more weeks for my money.

i checked out the xoom.com limits myself:

"Your initial transaction limit is $1,000 per 24 hours period, and $3,000 per 30 day period. Based on your transaction history with Xoom, your limits may be raised in the future" (bold mine)."

i'm just wondering how essaywriters.net, given its transaction volume of so many writers, not at all be able to increase its sending limits. simply not possible. the way i see it, it's either they are using the normal $3,000/mo. limit written in the xoom website as an excuse to delay or they've had a bad history, perhaps of delayed bank clearance.

the company keeps on telling me to open up a bank account or e-gold account.. i did not comply immediately, that's why my latest earnings were delayed for 3 months.. i was paid $800 yesterday through my e-gold account..

really? you were paid through e-gold? funny but the last time they raised this xoom limits argument, which was some 4 payment periods ago, i kept insisting that they transfer payment through my e-gold account . however, they simply wouldn't or couldn't. support told me that e-gold was not set up for the accountant or something. note that e-gold has been in their payment mode options list ever since i began working for them. what happened then was that i had to wait for two weeks before getting paid--two payment period earnings in one transfer. actually, e-gold is currently my alternative payment mode but they simply can't use it somehow.

the e-gold mode of earnings payment was reflectected in my payment details about a month ago.. i dont know about you....

[Support] [Writer] March 18 23:33 Dear xxxxxxx,
The payment ssystem for e-gold is not set up for an accountant yet. Please give us your PayPal or Wire Transfer details.
best regards,
Lisa

[Support] [Writer] March 20 19:20 Dear xxxxx,

Our accountant is currently working on setting up this payment option. Meanwhile you can choose from one of the mentioned above:

-Wire Transfer
-PayPal

Regards,
Helen Mann

what do you think this means lex? essaywriters.net lied to me? or are they playing favorites? i don't suppose they can have e-gold set up for some and not for all.

E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here....

[quote=lex, Post #69 ] the e-gold mode of earnings payment was reflectected in my payment details about a month ago.. i dont know about you, but....

sorry but i don't know where you are getting your stories lex but your details run counter to clarifications made by beth of essaywriters.net.

they were the ones who set this mode of payment to primary..

one more thing, i've worked for essaywriters for several months and i know they'll never touch your profile. they would instruct writers to go change the payment mode in their respective profiles as needed but essaywriters would not do it for them. for them to change your profile even with your consent would be highly irregular and unethical. even essaywriters, which has been accused of fraud, would not commit such irregularity.

lex, access to your profile, which contains your bank account/other payment mode details, is something like access to your e-mail--restricted only to you. unless of course you're unable to access it yourself for severe technical reasons and thereby ask support for assistance as a last resort.

i think it's a given that what i meant is access to altering your profile. of course essaywriters.net know your profile because they need it and they have it in their databank. the point i have been making is that it's an unwritten principle that websites owners generally don't touch member profiles.

my experience tell me essaywriters gives writers instructions on how to change their payment modes by going to their profiles. why would the company change your profile for you when you can do it yourself? also, how come you claim e-gold payments beginning last month when beth of essaywriters herself said the e-gold was not yet set up by march? opposing statements for the last point, so who's telling the truth?

mmm are you arguing that i'm a liar? well, that's your prerogative sir.. what would i gain or lose if you wont believe me? nothing.. what i'm just telling is that i was paid.. period.. ciao..

it's crystal clear that proving you've been paid has been your heartfelt thesis all throughout your postings here.

i'm not refusing to believe you per se. it a matter of incredibility plain and simple. your embellishments don't matter because based on essaywriters.net's recent 'official' statements here courtesy of beth, your e-gold couldn't have been set up and you couldn't have been paid through said system last march because:

E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here due to insignificant amount of writers applying for this particular method.

now, i expect you to insist on your story and tell the viewers here that it's a matter of truth perception or some other relativity theory. forum viewers here aren't stupid. yours and beth's "facts" don't tally so someone must be telling tales. i'm not saying you are a liar lex, but between you and beth of essaywriters.net, someone is.

i got paid, that's all.. if you keep on insisting in proving me wrong, again that's your prerogative sir..

i don't need to insist that you're wrong. yours and beth's (essaywriters.net) conflicting statements tell me one of you is direly wrong or untruthful.

i insist on getting the truth. how were you paid? e-gold? very well, then essaywriters.net lied to me! they told me earlier through the messaging system and through this forum that:

Quoting: Beth, Post #72
E-gold was indeed not yet established in March as per the messages exposed here due to insignificant amount of writers applying for this particular method.

if i were to believe your postings, then i have to conclude that essaywriters.net simply wanted to delay transferring payment to me.

We are in no dire straights, but the money is MINE, and I deserve to be paid in a timely manner. I did the work, and should be fairly compensated.

i completely agree with you qws. they kept telling writers that wire transfer is a good alternative to paypal.

i certainly hope you get paid soon. in my case, i have to wait till the next payment period because the under-$100 balance i have with them is not worth the e-gold transfer which they say is operational now.

in my case sugarlips, i have less than a hundred bucks balance with them. they initiated the transfer but based on the xoom.com transaction history, essaywriters canceled it and the amount refunded. according to the company, however, it was xoom.com itself that made the cancellation because of the monthly limits reached. but i'm wondering why was it initially approved by xoom.com in the first place.
