DO NOT USE OXBRIDGE EDITING EVEN FOR PROOFREADING!
I booked an editor, paid in advance 400 pounds for a 15,000 word dissertation to edit (light editing) with a 5/6 days deadline. Result: they were never available on the phone and did not deliver. When I wrote that I would have suited them, they delivered half of the work, revised by different people (one of them certainly is not a graduate of Oxford).

It actually is a fraud as:
1) they don't answer in writing that they received all the files
2) they dont deliver on time, and then send you something late to be only partially responsible.
3) what they deliver is partial and made by different hands, therefore it blows off your consistency. Moreover, the quality is different and you cannot trust all the corrections. It means you have to re-read two files instead of one.

4) Of course, they do not cross check the sequence of pages, notes, figures etc.
5) Although they know they wont deliver the work, they never tell even if you are able to reach them. They just don't answer or keep promising so that you loose precious time and risk not to find anybody else to proof-read your work before delivery.

The whole thing is awful: they drag you down instead of simply doing what they are paid for. So, don't use them as editors or proofreaders, they will just steel your money and your time.
