Trusted anti-plagiarism Program for students?

I searched and downloaded a program called Viper Plagiarisim Scanner from scanmyessay.

I scanned my partially completed essay; subsequently, I stumbled across a post that implied this program is not to be trusted.

Is this a trusted program? If it isn't, I have a feeling there is little I can do to stop them if they sell my essay to other parties or something like that...
