Are you actually complaining that you were cheated ... in your attempt to cheat?
If so, I think I'm on the side of 'Victoria', who seems to be doing a fine job taking money off people who don't deserve to keep it - although her inability to use that tricky English construction, the verb, suggests that such deviousness is beyond her.
