Essay Writing BayHi Julie,

I work for Essay Bay, assisting the main programmer in developing the site. I actually deal with most of the customer support emails at the moment, to help us better understand where users are having problems and so if you email our admin address, it is myself you will get to speak to!

I hope I can help you by better explaining the escrow system. It is very like the escrow systems used by ebay, and many programming sites around the world.

Ordinarily when you use an essay company, you would pay the company up front and wait for your essay. You have no way of knowing if the essay will be good or not (or indeed, if it will arrive at all!). If the essay is rubbish, you may struggle to get your money back from the company. Similarly, the writer has no way of knowing if he or she will get paid for writing the essay - they have to trust the company they are writing through.

With the escrow system, you post your project and many writers bid on that project. You review their credentials and feedback, and if you're happy to proceed, you choose your writer, and then deposit your money into an 'escrow' account. As soon as you do this, the writer is told to start work. So there's no obligation to proceed UNTIL you put that money in escrow - at that point, your writer actually starts working on your project.

So the money is in 'escrow' - this means that only YOU can release the payment to the writer, and only the writer can cancel the payment and return it to you. The writer KNOWS they will get paid if they finish the project and you KNOW you won't lose your money if a) they don't deliver or b) they deliver work which is substantially poor. This is fair to both you and the writer.

IF the writer does not deliver or does deliver but delivers poor quality work, there is a dispute resolution service. The company reviews the work (and the whole transaction) and if they are happy that you're right, they'll return the money held in escrow to you. If on the other hand, they find that the writer has delivered the work as promised and the work is good, they'll release the escrow payment to the writer.

So the escrow system does tie up your money and stop you changing your mind after a day or two, yes - but if this were not the case it would be very unfair on the writer. They would start work and then find the customer could cancel and they would be paid nothing for their time and effort. But it also protects the customer - so the customer knows their money is safe because they only have to release the money held in escrow if they get what they asked for, and if there is any problem, the support team can review things and send their money back to them.

I hope this is helpful but if you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them for you.

Kind regards
Jennifer

Hi all,

Wow, lots of comments so bear with me if I don't respond to everything - I will try!

Firstly, Julie...

i) The dispute fee works like this - if the buyer or writer raise a dispute then yes, a fee is charged to look into it (we are after all a business, not a charity, and this takes time). If the writer is in the wrong, the fee is refunded to the buyer. If the buyer is in the wrong, the fee is refunded to the writer. So the party in the right doesn't pay anything.

There haven't been many disputes since the site started trading - probably not more than 5 - so I can't say that EssayBay makes a huge profit from these!

ii) If a project is cancelled - i.e. the writer agrees to refund the money held in escrow - then of course we refund our fees. I can't imagine why it hasn't been done automatically. We have recently changed the fee structure to make it clearer for buyers. I'm almost certain fees are refunded automatically when a payment gets cancelled, but I am just checking with our programmer on this.

If you contact me with the project details and ask me to do this, via our email address that you have, I would be happy to sort it out for you.

iv) With regards to the withdrawal amount of $50, I'm not sure where you got this from. It's actually $20 minimum withdrawal.

v) Finally, with regards to writing on here having an impact to us releasing money, no - it's more due to the fact that I have a small backlog of jobs to do, and I'm working through them. Our programmer is working on the automatic release of funds but until that's in place, I have to do it manually which is quite time consuming. But please accept my apologies for the delay.

v) Jerry.. yes the company also runs several other websites. I'm not sure how to comment on this - it's true and we declare that openly on the "about us" page as you said. Why that makes us a rip off website in your eyes, I'm not sure. The company is part of a registered group, fully subject to the provisions of English law and fully accountable to its clients.

vi) Jerry.. I don't understand your comments about Kasamba as I don't know what that is. Ebay is a website that deals with goods where the Seller offers goods and the buyer bids for them. EssayBay is a website that deals with services, where the Seller (writer) fixes the price they are prepared to sell their services for, and the buyer chooses what he wants to pay. So I'd say there are some substantial fundamental differences, but it is an interest analogy - I suppose the presence of bids and feedback mean that there are similarities.

I hope that deals with everything here but I am always very happy to answer any questions you may have. First and foremost I would say that if, as a registered member, you do have a problem with EssayBay, please try contacting our admin email address first. I appreciate that on rare occasions transactions do not run as smoothly as they could do, but during the early development of the site we're very anxious to iron out any bugs and get everything functioning in a way that all users are happy with. So do try and give us the opportunity of putting things right for you in the first instance.

Hi all,

Just some replies to the issues raised here.

PAYMENTS/PAYPAL
Firstly, both our writers and customers will know that we've experienced delays because of Paypal's restrictions which are entirely beyond our control. We mailed everyone to explain this several times and we've responded to individual emails asking about the delay. There's not a lot we can do. We made all payments up to the 12th December (using a temporary account) but we've not been able to do anything since then. We have actually offered to make payments via bank transfer for all UK writers.

AUTOMATED WITHDRAWALS
We've got an automated withdrawal system programmed and ready to put in place as soon as Paypal lift their restrictions. So there won't be any future delays because the system will make the payments. The contributors here who have said that the delay is as a result of us being 'greedy' are a little short sighted because there is actually no benefit at all to us having funds sitting in our Paypal account. If anything, it is causing a detriment to our business and clearly we want to resolve the problem as soon as is possible.

VERIFICATION
I can tell you now that ALL of the writers that are verified on Essay Bay are verified as a result of them taking us up on our offer to verify them for free if they already work for Academic Knowledge or Deveraux and Deloitte. The reason we are able to do this for free is because it takes us considerably less time to process. For other writers, we have fixed the fee at $100 (approximately £50). This represents the time taken to check through their documents and add them to the database, record their qualifications etc. It is not a simple process. But, as yet, nobody has used this service. So the comments on profit making etc are unjustified. Furthermore, it is clear that we are running a business, not a charity. Please remember that, as for any business, a great deal of the administration work, programming and marketing (which gets our writers work) that we do is done without charge.

GENERAL
Our writers and customers have been assured that we do care very much about them and that we are doing everything we possibly can to resolve the situation. We can only apologise for these circumstances which, as mentioned, are entirely beyond our control.

Responses to specific posters:

johnny_outsmart - it is an interesting proposition to open new accounts just to be able to send payments Johnny but if you understand how Paypal works, we have to add some means of funding to each account that we 'drum up' and given that there are currently 1,033 writers on this site, you can see that this is just impossible.

julie24963 - as explained to Julie personally, there is no possible legal claim for a 3 week delay in making payment down to reasons that are well beyond our control. As also explained to Julie, her comments to our clients and our writers on the site ARE libellous and she has taken action with a view to damaging our business. This is why we have parted company with her.

There is of course no issue with customers or writers complaining to us and I fully appreciate that this is extremely frustrating - we would not remove a customer or writer for simply complaining. But this member has gone far beyond that and for that reason, we do not feel we can sustain a business relationship with her.

I can assure you that EssayBay is not a scam company. EssayBay is part of the Academic Answers Group, a well established limited company registered at Companies House which has been trading for 4+ years (it does not belong to me, as some posters have suggested - I work on developing and programming the site, and I am dealing with administrative enquiries for now so that I can fully appreciate where customers and writers have difficulties in using it). The suggestion that a delay in payment to writers of three weeks due to circumstances beyond our control makes us a scam company is simply without substance. All other writers and customers on the site have managed to grasp this -- but to those who have been contacted by julie24963 and led to believe otherwise, we can only apologise for the concern this must have caused to you. We are confident that service will return to normal very soon.

Well, thanks all for your time and if you do have any enquiries or questions, please do let me know. I am always happy to help. I'm sorry the mails have been rather slow over the Christmas and New Year period, and with nearly 2,000 members on the site now, we're considering how we can better handle queries - however, I'll be spending the rest of today going through any outstanding issues.

Kind regards

Jennifer

Hi again Johnny, and everyone,

Apologies if my previous email came across as a little stern. I am of course not angry at any of our customers or writers for feeling the way that they do which is 100% understandable - I am so angry at Paypal for causing this situation and feel really frustrated that I cannot physically do anything further to change it.

Paypal's requirements baffled us as well because we added a payment card to the account for the purpose of confirming our address which was fine - and then they said they had to send us a letter to confirm our address (which we'd already confirmed). They took a month to get this to us. As if that wasn't sufficient, they then asked for a whole load of documents all of which we have provided straight away. Yet regardless, as you can see, we're actually listed as 'Verified'.

I can appreciate your frustration - I really can. I am equally as frustrated, particularly as telephoning Paypal every time means an hour on hold, and they don't answer emails for weeks either. I have actually sent them a link to this discussion so they can see what the delay is doing to our business reputation.

I hope that this incident will not prevent people from understanding what we have tried to do with EssayBay. The essay business is rife with fraud as this forum proves, and our aim was to create a transparent service where, if a writer was dishonest or rubbish, customers would quickly see this from their feedback. On the other hand, if the writer was excellent, customers would see this too - and great writers would be rewarded with more work and more money. I'm sure nobody disputes that this is a great idea. We just need to iron out these problems - the delay in releasing funds to writers and the rather slow support time which I must personally apologise for. You see, when you mail me with a problem, I don't simply answer your mail - I'll instead be looking at why that problem arose and how we can program the site to work better. There's a lot of changes in the pipeline for improving EssayBay and I hope you can bear with us through this difficult situation.

Once again, if we can do a bank transfer for anyone, we'll gladly do this -- unfortunately Barclays do charge $40 for international transfers, but the UK transfers are free.

Hey, thank you very much indeed to all those people who have sent me supportive emails about the site. I cannot tell you how much this means. May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Regards

Jennifer

Hi Lavinia

Thank you for your feedback, which is always appreciated.

My comment regarding running a business rather than a charity was clearly in respect of the fact that we do have to make some profit to cover our expenses, and to make the whole exercise worthwhile. I explained clearly that whilst we do charge a fee for verification (and this doesn't apply where the writer works for one of the other companies in the group because the time taken to verify them is a lot less), we don't charge for a great deal of other services. I'm sure that any person who runs their own business will understand and appreciate the very basics of how a business works, anyway.

Also Lavinia, you suggested that the Paypal scenario is an excuse and we should find some other way of paying our writers -- but if you had read my earlier posts, you would know that we already offered do a bank transfer for any UK writer that required it. This service has in fact been available on the site for months.

I did carefully explain why we had parted company with Julie. I'm sure you sympathise with her position but with all due respect, you do not know the correspondence that has passed between us, or between her and our customers/other writers. What Julie says on this site, and what actually happened, are two different things. And, as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, I fully understand what a libel is, and would never dream of suggesting that anyone had made libellous statements unless I had sufficient evidence to support my claim.

As for working for other companies, this is always an option and our writers, being freelance, are perfectly entitled to explore this option. EssayBay belongs to a group of companies that has traded successfully for around 4 years - chances are most of our writers do already work for another of the companies within the group!

Once again, I appreciate that this situation is frustrating for our writers but they do have the option of a bank transfer (and have always had this option, which we have made clear from the start) if they do not want to wait.

Hi All ...

Just a very quick update to say that at long last, our Paypal account is now 100% fully functional, verified etc etc. I'm in the process of working through all your payments requests and mails relating to payment so bear with me if there are questions on here I haven't answered but I want to give priority to the payments first. I'll then tell our programmer to put the auto payment system in place so you all get paid virtually when you request it (unless it's a bank transfer) and you don't have to wait for us to process it.

We did actually make some international payments (and pay the fees) by the way, for those writers who were stuck waiting for funds. They are unfortunately slow though, so we're really glad to have paypal back even if paypal have treated us not so well!

Anyway, everything's resolved now - do mail me if you have any questions about payment and haven't mailed me already!

Kind regards

Jennifer

I will just deal with the above post which has caught my eye! Lavinia, you are actually incorrect - the qualifications of the writers are verified, individually (hence why the 'verified' notices are very specific). Their identification and certificates have been carefully checked and authenticated. Their country of birth/country of origin is also verified from documentary evidence.

I appreciate that you are concerned and are anxious to voice these concerns to the community, but I would greatly appreciate it (as I'm sure all users of this website would too) if you could try and keep your posts factual and limit them to what you actually know to be true. This is only fair to our company and this is surely what EssayScam.org is all about - the truth.

Kind regards,

Jennifer

Lavinia, hi,

I think you're confused - let me quote you:

"the only verified writers are their inhouse writers who got carried over from other companies and didn't have to pay the $100.00. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> their qualifications aren't even verified, they are just a known to the company, which essaybay seems to think is enough"<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

To which I said:

"the qualifications of the writers are verified, individually (hence why the 'verified' notices are very specific). Their identification and certificates have been carefully checked and authenticated. Their country of birth/country of origin is also verified from documentary evidence."

AK and D&D make these checks when they take on a writer. They have an inhouse HR team in charge of this process.

So if they work for AK or D&D we've already carried out most of the ID checks/processes and checked their qualifications, unless there are any new ones they want us to consider.

So as I said, everything is checked very carefully - by AK/D&D if they are a writer for them, or by us if not. But it is done!!! We don't just rely on a recommendation from some company we don't know.

For EssayBay, we ask them to submit the documents again, on the off chance we can't locate them on our system but in practice, in almost every case they're already there, on the database/system I use, and the work involved in verifying AK/D&D writers is, therefore, a great deal less as I said. Plus the amount of data entry work across several records is less - it's already done. We only have to fill in a few entries on the EssayBay site. Hence, it's free.

Of course, people could just apply to AK/D&D, get accepted and then join Essay Bay and get verified for free. There's nothing to stop them.

In all other cases, great writers will have no trouble making up the $100 and as I said we're entitled to charge for our services - we spend enough on marketing and PR to get work for writers, which far exceeds what they could do with their $100.

Re comments about Paypal - again, please keep your posts factual - this is only fair. What makes you think all people have not been paid? In fact, all people have been paid -- I started work on this the second the paypal account restrictions were lifted and every single request was dealt with within about an hour or so.

As for Deveraux and Deloitte - it pays all its writers, with the exception of the dishonest few who try and rip off the company by submitting plagiarised work or work they've submitted previously. I'm sure there are a few disgruntled posts from people like that. The rest of our writers enjoy working for us. We conducted a survey recently and nearly every researcher was happy that they were paid on time. So I'm sure the posts you refer to are from that minority dishonest few. If this were not the case, and we legally owed them money which we'd refused to pay them, then they'd surely contact the company rather than posting on a website like this - or even take action - it's registered, has a trading address, phone number, etc.

I hope these deal with your queries but I would be happy to help if you have any further questions.

Kind regards

Hey all,

Whenever someone uses Paypal (on any website) to buy something, paypal send out a 'key' (an IPN) to the website to let them know that the customer has paid, and how much.

Paypal had some issues with sending this information out which meant that many websites all over the world using paypal may have had to process orders manually or, in our case, credit customers' accounts manually (you can verify this for yourself by searching the Paypal developer forums). This was not for all payments but just for some of them. The payments could easily be verified by logging into the paypal account so it was just a case of them not being credited automatically.

It is my understanding that the issues have now been resolved and service is back to normal. If, however, there is anyone who is waiting to see a payment show up in their account and has not yet seen that payment, they should contact us to credit the account manually. I'm pretty sure all the payments now correspond with all the credits so we should be good!

Hi there,

We haven't set a definite period yet - when a customer hasn't released it after a week, and the writer has contacted me, I've tried to contact the customer and checked the project message board for any queries. If there's still nothing from the customer after a couple of days or so, I'll release the escrow - we can just assume the customer has forgotten to release the money.

If we make this automatic, then it won't take into account any dispute on the message board or any emails the customer has sent directly to me. I suppose we could perhaps make it automatic but also have a 'lock' that the customer can put on the escrow if for example there is a dispute and they are in the process of dealing with the writer and myself. I will talk to our programmer about the possibilities.

Kind regards

Hi all,

Hi corvus and thanks for that :-)

EW_writer, yes, the pics on the forum here are me. And, as you said, don't start work until you see your escrow payment showing in the account area. If the customer says they've made it but it's not there, drop me a line and I'll double check there's no bug in the system.

BoredWithThis.. if you are who I think you are, then I think both the writer and EssayBay have now agreed to a full refund? Hoping this resolves things. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and I too hope it's isolated.

Just to deal with the personal comments on here (not quite sure if I should as they don't really relate to essay fraud but hey!) MyClique is not a site that we're promoting at the moment but actually, it doesn't insult American students - it insults American social networking sites. Everyone here is a big fan of the US - most of us are huge ice hockey fans and are crazy about the Buffalo Sabres. We've been shown some great hospitality in Buffalo and love our American friends.

At the time when myclique/student jam was created, there wasn't a lot of competition (the days before facebook opened its doors to developers and actually got pretty good). But we didn't promote it a great deal and it's a shelved project now. I don't think it even works properly - we certainly don't maintain it, but the pics of Barclay are on my profile because we used to date :-) It's interesting what one member said about Barclay's cars because he actually doesn't have them anymore - he decided they were a bit of a waste of money considering they spent a lot of time gathering dust in the garage, and that the money would be best spent elsewhere on the business. Checkout my facebook profile for photo confirmation of that (there's an album entitled 'the departure of the cars' - think you might have to add me to view it tho)!

And regarding Wikipedia, I did edit Barclay's entry a good while ago - I didn't write it originally but I thought it would be good to add in the press links as Barclay has been on the radio and TV talking about proper use of essay companies quite a lot - but I think since then our PR department have amended it since then so I'm not responsible! :-D

Feel free to fire anything else you like my way -- other than the upset customer which of course I don't want to see, this thread is pretty funny! :-)

This is a fairly elaborate one we had recently on EssayBay which looks like someone had a few stolen credit cards and wanted to try and get the money off them.

The essay 'buyer' laurab1234@hotmail topped up their account with a sizeable amount of money using several different cards and names, then created writer's accounts (stupidly using the same password and similar contact details to their stolen credit cards) and posted fake projects using the buyer's account which they then bid on using the writer's account. They charged back one of the paypal transactions and then tried to claim the writer's money anyway.

They provided us with the following information in the course of dealing with them:

Shopper's Name: mr rod brown Shopper's Address: 70 alpine grove west bolden Shopper's Telephone No.: Shopper's Postcode: we36 0nq Shopper's Country: United Kingdom Shopper's IP address: 172.213.51.125 Shopper's Email: laurab1234@hotmail

Shopper's Name: leslie w wilkins Shopper's Address: nut tree cottage east burton road Shopper's Telephone No.: Shopper's Postcode: bh20 6he Shopper's Country: United Kingdom Shopper's IP address: 172.159.200.4 Shopper's Email: laurab1234@hotmail

Shopper's Name: MR PAUL DENYS SELF Shopper's Address: 47 york villas spennymoor dl166lp Shopper's Telephone No.: Shopper's Postcode: dl166lp Shopper's Country: United Kingdom Shopper's IP address: 172.188.227.80 Shopper's Email: laurab1234@hotmail

But the following details I think are genuine, because they asked me to transfer money into these bank accounts:

Bank details: Account number is 85503428, sort code is 602404 , bank name: natwest, and name : a ahmad.

Further account details: Abbas ahmadi, sort code: 110094 account number:00440297 bank name : halifax

Telephone numbers: 07931396420 and 07931872654 (neither work)

They managed to get one paper out of this but we actually still hold a chunk of their money because I mailed 'Laura' and told her I'd passed all this information to our local fraud department to deal with. The paper is below.

I hope this is useful to anyone who might have seen similar names and contact details come their way.

Research on Porter's Generic Strategies

Introduction

Porter Strategy PaperThis paper will examine the practical value of Porter's Generic Strategies and link it to the airline industry. More specifically Ryanair will be used as a basis to emphasise the practical value of Porter's Generic Strategies. The product life cycle will also be analysed. Ryanair was initially known as Aer Lingus, which was the national airline of Ireland. Whilst trying to gain a stranglehold on British destinations, Ryanair adopted a differentiation strategy along the guidelines proposed by porter.

Product life cycle

There are four stages to the product life cycle: Introduction, growth, maturity and decline. The practical value of the product life cycle cannot be underestimated. Ryanair used the product life cycle to evaluate its position in the market and used it as a platform to create stability.

Research and development is the initial stage. This is where the business has its researchers to look at new ideas and products for the market. This can indeed be very expensive but Ryanair did not budge from this. They carried out research into new destinations and are now reaping the rewards.

Introduction: At this point the product life cycle begins. The actual product or service is introduced. Companies spend an awful lot of money. This has been no exception with Ryanair who spent millions on lauching their services and it seems it was well worth the effort.

Growth: If the product or service is successfull that an inrease in sales is likely. The producer still advertises at a high level to fight off competition. Product starts to move into profitability. The cash flow starts to gain more revenue. A huge increase in sales followed for Ryanair in the summer of 2007 when the floods hit the UK. Ryanair was successful hence their services were in demand

Maturity: Sales growth begins to slow as market saturation is approached. Sales are kept going by those who are late to adopt new products. This stage will last longer than the earlier stages. This is where the most revenue is taken in for the longest period of time. This was a period of intense scrutiny for Ryanair the late summer 2006 as autumn set in and no new services were on the horizon.

Decline: Eventually the product will become less interesting for purchasers, and the decline of the product will commence. The revenue will now slowly drop but there is a possibility that the firm will not go into debt. Ryanair clearly took account of this element of the product life cycle. When sales began to decline in 2003 Ryanair took evasive action by reinforcing their existing destinations and creating new ones. For the future this will be handy. The will use the cycle to create a systematic and methodological approach.

lmao!! WritersBeware, I think you have issues!!! You do make me laugh though, I should thank you for that.

Barclay isn't showing anything in those pictures that were linked on here, it is bath foam!! I don't know if there are other pics on there which are explicit - I don't think there are - I can't get the site to work properly for me to check it out. I can't imagine that I would have posted any. But certainly, the ones linked from this forum, are actually Barclay messing around in the bath with a whole lot of bath foam. If the photograph really depicts an 'erection' and thus, his 'equipment' was as big as the bath foam suggests, I really think he'd be famous for something other than owning an essay company, don't you? ;-)

In answer to your question 'why are these photos of the owner of a company on the net' - well, it's a social networking site, and believe it or not we people have lives outside of our companies - so yes we do like to have a bit of fun now and then, as the photos suggest. I'm sorry if you find a grown man fooling around in a bath of foam to be so terribly offensive and feel that in some way it makes him incapable of looking after his business, but if that really is the case, then I wonder if it is Barclay who has problems for having a bit of fun, or you who has the problem for objecting to it. What do you think?

Regarding the MyClique intro, the first insult regarding myclique that was quoted on here was indeed about American social networking sites, not Americans in general. This is what I was commenting on specifically. But regardless of your threats to 'tear me to shreds' if I don't "own up to lying", which I find intensely amusing, you seem to forget it's a public site - everyone can visit it and make their own mind up so lying/not lying is not an issue. As to the comment about British students often being a little thinner than the Americans - well, perhaps that particular line is a little insulting although unfortunately, statistically true. Although I read that we're catching up, if it's any consolation! It hardly makes us haters of the Americans - as I said, we have some great American friends (not to mention American writers and customers) and we love all of them. So you, personally, can take the myclique introduction to mean whatever you want it to mean - we all know what it means, we know how we feel about our American friends/customers/writers, and what you think makes no difference.

Regarding my clique/student jam's message about lectures, this was a separate project, quite aside from our essay business - it was thought of, managed, developed and controlled by a separate team of people. It really had nothing to do with our present business other than the source of funding. So the policies, slogans, concepts etc are really quite aside from what we do nowadays. And as I said, we never actually launched it although I have noticed we still have some old links to this on our websites and I will inform our programmers that these perhaps ought to be removed.

Perhaps I am being a bit of a 'newbie' here but I was under the impression that this forum was to share experiences about essay sites and to warn other users about fraudulent companies. Whilst I am amused about someone getting insulted about bath foam, I can't help but thinking this is just entirely irrelevant to the website we're on. Maybe we should confine the discussion to fraudulent websites, bad customer experiences etc, and not the private life of our directors? :)

Regards

Jennifer

The funny thing is, I'd actually managed to remove these pics (since they had been linked from this forum and on the off-chance they did actually cause some weak-minded person offence) with great difficulty as the old site has some major programming bugs, before I replied to the last post. So WritersBeware is now the one spreading apparently "explicit" material. Tut tut!! Hey, WB, I'm pretty certain that what you're referring to is his hand (I'm assuming we've now accepted he doesn't really have a huge piece of equipment covered in foam).

I really have to stop talking about this now, I'm starting to sound like I too have a fixation, hehehehe! :-)

that targets a largely UNDERAGE audience

Just picked up on this - it's besides the point since the material is not offensive but FYI, actually, it doesn't target a largely underage audience - the word 'students' in the UK is generally used to refer to university students which I believe is the target group for this website. Hence the intro comments about 'lectures' (which again in the UK, would normally refer to uni lectures). Uni students are not 'underage'.

Hi StrugglingStudent,

Your posts are really interesting - thank you. It's really good to get the facts from someone who deals with this kind of complaint and actually knows their stuff.

lol.. a little birdy told me that WB owns a rival essay company. Is that true WB? Never mind a sitcom, this is just like politics! :-)
