That is definitely one of the many, many paragraphs that I wrote in this situation. I was making the point -- yet again, as I had done previously -- that not everything our writer wrote was "garbage" and "useless" as the client claimed.

I won't post any of the rest of our conversations here as that would be a violation of our confidentiality policy. But please note that this client agreed to my solution. He said as much in his original post. So -- where is the dishonesty, then?

To claim that I was dishonest in this transaction is just plain mean-spirited; to bring it up at all, weeks after the fact, is in itself strange. All I can say is what I tell our clients: for a company such as ours to be dishonest is not just unethical, but it's stupid. And I am neither of those things.

Sincerely,

Madeline, GraduateWriter.com

I am sorry that JohnLo is still disappointed with his experience with us. We try very hard to satisfy our clients.

When he first gave such negative feedback in response to the original first half of the literature review, I was surprised. His writer is a professor in a field related to his, and receives very few complaints for her work. I reviewed the paper myself, and found that while some of what the client had merit, I certainly did not believe that everything was useless (as he had claimed).

I therefore asked the writer to revise the work, and asked her to pay strict attention to the outline. I did this at no charge to the client (although we paid the writer for her work)

She did so, but again the client claimed that everything was useless -- nothing was worth anything.

That is a large claim to make. This was a 25-page literature review (half of a 50-page literature review). The writer included completely relevant information, included a mix of mostly recent and some classic works, and laid the foundation for the rest of the review.

Nevertheless, the client was still not happy. I offered to refund him 60% of the price, asserting that at least 40% of the work was useful. He agreed, and so I refunded the payment.

Again, I am sorry that he is still disappointed, but given that we did everything we could to meet his criteria -- and then gladly refunded an appropriate percentage of his money when we could not completely meet those criteria.

Sincerely,

Madeline, GraduateWriter.com

Btw. if JohnLo agrees, we'll be happy to publish a sample of the review for the community to comment.

[Btw. 2] - the following is a real testimonial from a graduate student:

Dear Madeline,

I started to utilize essay writing services since I was a sophomore in college. I had my fair share of horrible experiences (i.e. late works, blatantly plagiarized works, unresponsive writers/customer service reps, etc.) that left me sad and weary. I found your website while I was on Essayscam.com. I googled your service and read numerous positive reviews from other satisfied customers. I decided to take a chance, because I really want to find a writing service I can count on. I'm beyond satisfied with the way you handle my order. My only regret is that I haven't find you sooner.

You and your team are so wonderful to do business with. I will place all my future orders with you, and I will be sure to recommend your service to all my cousins and close friends.

Thank you.
