Today, the world is suffering from congestion and high pollution problems which are growing steadily. Some people suggest that to deter these problems, government should increase the petrol prices. As for as i am concerned, i am not on the same wavelength with this statement because there are other alternatives which can overcome with these issues.

To consider the reasons, first of all, the rise in petrol rates can be directly affect on the middle class people because large amount of the average standard people prefer to use private vehicles as compare to the public transport system which does not provide comfort and leisure to them. Moreover, this step can bring inflammation in cost and consequently it may hard for commeners to purchase other daily needs regarding food, accommodation and electricity whereas rich people do not consider these issues . For instance, in a recent survey individual car holders do not react towards increment in petroleum cost rather there is a huge increment in private vehicles holders.

Some alternative methods can lower up the level of traffic and pollution sphere. The first and the foremost idea is that, though there are public transportation system but they should be enhanced in quality and quantity because presently majority of community is struggling with the lack of suitable fairs and proper schedule of buses and taxi cabs according to the timetable of workers. Secondly, government should initiate strict laws on the excess use of two , three or four wheelers, that are participating in rise of air and noise pollution. A good illustration is that, a rigid law "one -car-per-family-law" can mitigate congestion problems.

To conclude, congestive and pollution problems cannot fully extinguish in this world because they are growing with the development of human being. But alternative methods can work in an effective ways, indeed.
