I've made a terrible decision of hiring someone from this website. I was really struggling with the class and work and thought of giving it a shot as my last resort. They promised me a guaranteed A for a quiz and a final. Received Ds in both, when I reached out for a refund as they promised 100% refund if not satisfied with their work. They did not reply me back, so I realized this is a scam and I disputed the transaction on Paypal. Literally within an hour the rep reached out to me (who did not reply me last 2 days) and says that he was off and just got to the office. I let him know about the exam and then the harassment starts. Within few minutes I receive a message on WhatsApp from someone named Adam Noah who says he works at this company and handles refunds. The way he messaged me asking "why did you submit a dispute and it's messing up our credibility blah blah" was really unprofessional. He kept telling me they would inform the Academic integrity advisor from my school and even provided me with their information with emails, phone numbers etc. I went to my school's website and it all matches. I ignored his messages so he calls me on WhatsApp. From his voice, I could understand he was either from India or pakistan and it sounded like a call center (I could hear a lot of people talking in the background). He was yelling at me and he told me either I pay him $990.00 dollars for the copyright of this exam or he will email my Uni's academic advisor. I hung up stating I needed some time, he calls me twice more and the leaves me a message stating since he did not hear back from me, he will indeed send the email. I am not going to lie, but he did make me feel nervous. I understand they are 151% a scam company. But just can't help but wonder if they will actually email my Uni? Please advise if anyone has similar incidents happen to them and what actions did you take? If any Unis were informed, then what happened? (He currently only has my phone number, chats of receiving the answer, and possibly my school's username.)
