The difficulty is in recognising a good one. Since reading this site I've seen every writing service I've ever heard of slated as poor/useless. Can't afford to waste any more money like that.

Well, I got the essay. It was written by a native English speaker and the grammar and vocabularily were fine, but it wasn't anywhere near 2:1 standard. Narrative not analysis in the main, tho' I had said narrative was not required, and it rambled away from the point.

However, I used it as a base to build on. Probably used about a third of it, and had to put in about 5 hours work myself. So - expensive for what I got. It was the first time I've used an essay writing service and I won't use one again.

Not yet but I've managed to get Fastessays to agree to send it to me WITHOUT them seeing a copy of my personal documents. The writer has asked for an extension to the deadline because Fastessay told him/her to stop work on it yesterday while they were arguing with me. I've agreed to 12 hours extension.

I have hopes. The people in the office speak poor English, but from the emails I've exchanged with the writer I think s/he is a native speaker.

I'll keep you posted.

...and I haven't even seen the essay yet! They say it's ready but they want me to send a copy of my passport or driving licence because I'm a "first time user". They took my money via Paypal on 30 March. Why would they need ID?
