Update: I received the rewrite. It is a much better paper, but it doesn't cover the topic at hand and was not the length I specified. Instead of being a paper about the poem, it was a paper about the writer. There was nothing I could use in the paper, but as I said before, it came a lot closer than the original one I received. Now free to give my opinion based on my experience, I won't be using the Research's services ever again. Too much hassle, not enough production, not worth the money.

This is completely understandable. I have been told that the order will be revised and completed to me by April 15th. I will most assuredly return here and let you all know the outcome!

Now I've been told that he only has an AA and BA in English, by his own admission. And he is asking where I live. Did I read incorrectly, or did the website not assure me that the writers would have "at least a Master's degree?" Does this mean a Master's degree in anything, or would they find someone with a Master's degree in the subject I wish for a paper to be written on? I assume that if he had a Master's at all he would have mentioned it in his PM telling me how stupid I am and that I should listen to his wisdom.

Don't worry folks, I made all of these same facts known to Support and they have issued me a new writer who will complete a new paper for me. I will let you guys know how everything turns out.

It's a research paper on "Ode to a Nightingale" by John Keats. As a follow up, I must say that the writer has become severely combative with me about the rewrite and it's only adding to my frustration. So far, given this one incident (and no, I'm not so dumb as to think a singular occurrence qualifies for the condemnation of an entire company), I would not recommend the Research. I understand that others might have had wonderful experiences with them, but as of now, mine has been horrific. If Support acts and the writer decides to redo it (even though he will not quit arguing with me, so I'm afraid of the quality of the rewrite), I will of course come here and make it known.


I was not given the opportunity to pay more for a better writer, and had I been given that option, I would have taken it. I paid nearly as much as possible almost on this paper as I gave a deadline of only 8 days. The only higher charge was for a deadline of 7 days or sooner, but I felt that the quality of an essay would be suffered when one is given less time in which to write, so I don't see my choice as naive.

Well, I went along with the advice posted here and used the Research...you should see the crappy paper I got for $97. It's awful. I requested Freelance Writer, but he must have had too much to work on. I got someone who fudged the whole paper and added line breaks and the 5 page paper with 7 sources I asked for turned out to be a 3 page paper with 1 source, fragment sentences, typos, incorrect in-text citations, incorrectly formatted works cited page, and though I asked for MLA formatting, it was not evident, etc., etc., etc. I even paid extra for more than 5 sources (it is free for one source per page, so I should have gotten 5 for free, but the paper was only 3 pages and there was maybe 1 full source).

I submitted a rewrite request and advised Support that I wished for an entirely new writer and an entirely new paper. We will see how this subsequent request goes before I let my opinion as to whether or not one should use Research be known.

I am not a lazy student who just doesn't want to do the research paper. I am a very, very good student (who is an English major) and I am going through very, very trying times in my life which have left me with no time to do this assignment to its full extent. I have had THREE deaths in my family in the past 6 weeks, I moved in with my dad to help him out (his wife was one of the people who died), and 3 people quit at work and I'm having to take on their workload. I also really didn't have the money to frivolously spend on this paper, but I recognized the necessity of it. If I get stiffed, that is just going to add EXPONENTIALLY to my problems when all I was looking for was a bit of relief from them.
