@venus: Actually, I really published the order that they did not pay for :)

I still have more than $400 in my account. It's supposed to be paid this 15th. Did you receive your salaries for this pay period already? Ty.

Hi, did you receive your payments for this pay period (Oct. 15)? Based on my "earnings report" page, they already sent out the payments this 15th. However, when I asked when I will actually receive the money in my account, "Susan", "Raymond", and "Amber" told me that my account is still undergoing the "usual" quality check. I was wondering, did you get your salaries? I am extremely worried now...

NEWS: writers.ph pays its writers on time... but unfortunately, not always in full.

You get your orders suddenly canceled after you have already submitted the paper to them!

"The client decided not to proceed with the order."... just that and poof! all your hard work will yield nothing!! not even a good explanation...

am back...

payments are still not in...
had 2 positive versus 1 negative feedback...
no plagiarism reports so far... and I hope I won't get one.

the negative feedback came from the fact the the customer didn't provide clear instructions. $10 was deducted... no matter how you reason out, I guess if the customer gives you a negative feedback, you'll get deductions coz they follow the cliche>>> "customer's always right". It's business... customer satisfaction and patronization are their priorities.

am still waiting for the money...hope I get it soon. By monday perhaps.

@pepi:

wow! good for you. :)

I hope I can also receive my payment soon. My earnings report indicated that they sent the payment already but I checked with my bank and its not there yet... I hope I get it soon. (wishing hard)

Hi! I'm also working for writers.ph. Did you get your payment from them? I was supposed to get it this Jan 1-3.

The original payment term stated in my profile was through xoom (since it is included in the payment options). When I asked about the delay, they told me that they already forwarded my payment details to their accounting department, for verification. So, I told them that it's okay and then I asked for an estimated pay date. They then told me that they can't give me that info, but they are trying to hasten the process.

And so, I gave them additional information about my bank details, with the hope that it can help them, somehow.

The next time I checked my account, they altered my profile and changed the payment details from "xoom.com" to "Wire Transfer to Philippines". I then keyed in new details for the Wire Transfer, and sent them a message asking for advise regarding which payment option was the best.

They then told me that xoom.com is no longer a payment option for writers in the Philippines. So, apparently the only option I have is the Wire Transfer. Aside from that, I 'm back to where I started- waiting for the accounting department to verify my payment details.

I don't know if this whole process is part of a scam or not. Is it? How many of you have been paid by writers.ph? And, can you possibly tell me how many days will it take the accounting dept to verify the details, based on your experience? Thanks so much. Answers will be very appreciated!
