Look at the following website. Having realised they are taking a real bollocking from ex researchers academic knowledge have created at least 3 fake ID's pretending to be genuine writers and have left rave reviews for themselves.

freeindex.co.uk/profile(academic-knowledge)_119997.htm

All 3 accounts (Andy g, Nina Glass and Aaron steele) joined and left the reviews on sept 2nd. I think that's clear evidence that they created the accounts themselves at the same time hoping to rescue their fading image :)

Hi,

The reviews are not fake. We asked our writers if they would like to post a review on the site and obviously some of them did!

The writers we asked are real and were not obliged or pressured to write a review. We also did not tell them to write good or bad reviews, they wrote their own honest reviews of working for us.

We are happy to receive feedback/reviews from writers. Good reviews let us know what we are doing right, and bad reviews let us know where we need to make improvements.

All the best.

They created usernames and reviews all on the same day. Too big a coincidence don't you think

I've looked at the site and i agree with vishkanya. I think they are fake. The dates aside which on their own are highly suspicious, look at the similarity of the writing - Most start with "I have worked" and the second sentence is " I have found"' . All the reviews state the word "client" whereas there are so many alternatives ie customer, buyer, purchaser etc.

Both the dates and the language/choice of words show that they have been written by one person most likely from academic knowledge.

It is common practice for writing companies to ask their writers to create work related testimonials for various purposes. These may be used to entice applicants at the company site or, maybe used at various review and investigative sites to help counter negative publicity. I don't All anything wrong with that since itis all part of public relations and advertising for the company. Now, the writers need to set up accounts to access the site sections. Nothing wrong withthem all doing it on the same date. Unless I see I.P. evidence pointing to the same location creating the identities, I would not give the date of profile creation much thought. It doesn't prove a scam or effort to fool anyone.

The OP was right about the writers trying to save their fading image. The company actually had their writer profiles removed from the index. The URL now comes back as page removed. So they asked the company to remove their writer profiles from the system. I do not doubt that this was an action that they decided to take after their cover was blown at this forum. Once they are revealed to be frauds, the students who stumble upon this forum become better armed and, if at the time, they are in contact with the writer or company, can ask the right questions, which makes the scammers uncomfortable. They eventually erase all their tracks since their identities have been fraudulent from the very beginning anyway. It is easier for them to delete the profile and them come back as someone else. After all, it is easy to make up a name, but difficult to attach a positive profile to the name when all you know to do is scam people.
