For the same reasons why applications from Zimbabwe, Angola, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana, Nigeria, Egypt, or Togo would have been turned down. Writers from Africa are uneducated, lie, and plagiarize whenever they can.

Re:

Academic Writer position

Rejected Writer ApplicationI am writing to apply for the position of a technical writer at your research service, as advertised recently on your website.

I am an exceptionally prolific and enthusiastic technical writer with 2 years of experience successfully working on economics, statistic and mathematics related projects. I pride myself on my skill of solving technical economics, mathematics and statistic problems with little ease, and am renowned for my eagle eye and attention to detail, as well as my ability to meet deadlines. I am able to juggle multiple projects and work both independently and in a team.

I am an MS statistics and BS economic and Statistics graduate. I currently teach Statistics and Mathematics courses as a part time lecturer in Starford University. I am comfortable with any statistic and mathematics jobs and following strict style guidelines. I have a wealth of experience using the entire range of MS Office software, as well as Visio, SPSS and CAD. I can comfortably handle any research paper, dissertation, thesis and projects in fields like statistics,

economics, mathematics, marketing, business studies, management, ethics, Human development, environmental studies and psychology, though; I am also flexible to handle accounting, IT, Web, Biology (and other Life Sciences).

I believe I am well suited to the Technical Writer role and could make a valuable contribution to Your Company. I look forward to discussing the position with you further.

Regards

I seriously doubt these other countries (save for Nigeria) have freelance Academic writers. Perhaps one or two in the whole country.

Why condemn all the Kenyans? Remember the saying that goes; "All it takes is one rotten apple to spoil the bunch"? That is the reason why all Kenyan writers are turned down by the non scamming, non-third world essay writing companies. The "legit" companies that actually stem from the US, UK, or Australia know the reputation of Kenyan writers by heart. They are some of the worst, if not the worst writers in the industry. As such, the on the level companies do not wish to associate with them. They will not only pull the writing quality of the company down, but they will also ruin the company's reputation because of their unreliability as writers. While not all Kenyans may be like that as academic writers, the fact is that the reputation of Kenyan writers precedes them and this makes it more difficult or impossible for the good Kenyan writers to get their break in the market. Opening multiple accounts will not help the writer because when the writer test is given, he is sure to make a mess of things and not get hired anyway.

Basically, academic writers are required to have a high level of education. While a college degree holder will be accepted for a job as an academic writer, he is limited in writing scope. Other writing companies require their writers to have at least a masters degree or doctorate degree for more advanced writing tasks. Based on this criteria alone, it becomes clear to anyone as to why the Kenyan writers find it difficult to gain acceptance / get hired as an academic writer at any writing company. The bottom-line is that the Kenyans are perceived to have an education but that education is not at part with international academic standards. This makes it difficult for them to compete and deliver a paper that is based on international writing standards.

I understand that the Kenyan writers who apply for the writer positions are at least college graduates in their home country. However, the education they receive is incomplete and often, backward in terms of academic standards. That makes it difficult for them to qualify as an academic writer on the world stage. They are not turned down for any reason other than the fact that they have an inadequate education, even as a college graduate, that results in their inability to come up to the expected academic writing standards of students and their professors.

No offense, but do you seriously consider yourself a professional academic writer?

Even as an indie writer, I get inquiries from Kenyan writers all the time. They want to work with me, take some of the load off me, or whatever reason they give for making contact. Why do I decline? First, I am happy working independently. Second, and more importantly, the inquiries I have received are generally filled with incorrect grammar and reek of inexperience. That is not to say that there are not capable Kenyan writers out there, but in my experience, they are rare. I'm not looking for partners, but if I were, I don't have the inclination or the time to take on a "partner" that I have to monitor and correct. Not to mention, of all writers, Kenyan writers are notorious for stealing clients. Sorry, but it's the truth!

Oh, I can't forget to mention those inquiries from John Smith (or other American-sounding name) residing in Kenya! At least be honest about who you are.

Kenyans still try to work in the academic writing business. Some of them pull it off, others don't. While some would give them an A for effort, that isn't enough to help them make the grade in this business. They have to be better educated, or at least better read than they are at the moment. Their problem in writing comes from their lack of up to date knowledge about academic requirements and procedures. They are backwards in terms of education. This backward education is what prevents them from doing well at their job. This is perhaps the main reason that they always get turned down when they apply for writing jobs. They may get hired by a questionable company, but they soon find out that they were working for free. Which is perhaps a major reason why the classless companies hire Kenyans.

Same here.

Ditto. I have yet to receive one of these inquiries without glaring mistakes of grammar and/or idiomatic expression.

Yup. The names they use are always laughably obvious fabrications.

Kenyan writers were turned down by essay writing companies for the simple reason that they are not good workers. They are used to playing the con game, which does not get you far in the academic writing business. These days, they are turned down not only because of their worth ethic, but because the companies have stopped hiring writers and are trying to figure out how to keep their business afloat as the writing tasks move faster and faster towards AI output for the students. This puts the Kenyans in an even worse place because they cannot compete with AI, unlike some better skilled human writers.
