Wizard WriterWhat do you mean by them hounding with emails? Looking at a sample order (Management subject / 30 pages) and the amount offered to their writers: $149 ($4.96 per page) may suggest they work with ESL writers only/mostly... and their 'promotion' page reads like a marketing brochure for first-time writers. The contact us page features a postal address shared by hundreds or thousands of other business organizations (which strongly suggests the service is not physically located in the US and isn't governed by US laws and regulations).

There is some website (originally written in Russian) showing some reviews of their company: prostoboss com/services/press/khoroshaya-vozmozhnost-zarabotka-dlya-tekh-kto-znaet-anglijskij-yazyk-i-umeet-pisat-akademicheskie-raboty

Here is Google translation of one of the reviews:

Hi! I would like to share my impressions of the work on this site. The biggest plus of working for the site is the large number of orders and decent pay (I have been working for other academic research sites, so I have something to compare). At first it was scary, especially when orders were sent back for revision; I always thought that it is necessary to rewrite everything, but in the end I usually only needed to add or remove some information to get the order through. Since it is expensive to call support if there are any questions, I use a very helpful email tech support (that is available round the clock).

But, as elsewhere, working for Wizard Writers also has its weaknesses. Firstly, it is necessary to write only the original text and correctly cite the sources used (plagiarism is not allowed and writers may be fined if they plagiarize their essays). Secondly, writers need to properly allocate their time to make sure they meet deadlines to finish up all orders. You can not be late. That may disturb your sleep during the night, so be warned in advance (American clients have a different time zone so you often need to work at night). It happens that students try to contact you during late hours and you need to get back to them later. But overall, I'm satisfied with the work on this site and I recommend it.

If the expected rate per page works for you, you may give them a try and report your experience.

Technically, not the best, but close. Above descent for sure, and probably the best to work for. A low high-end service is where you would wanna work though.

I would have to say that the company is a total scam. Their writers don't know how to write. They don't even realize when the sentences they are writing are conflicting and comes across as utter nonsense to the readers. They describe their writing experience from the company as follows:

Technically, not the best, but close. Above descent for sure, and probably the best to work for. A low high-end service is where you would wanna work though. Higher-ups will just want too much from you. Here you get the flexibility and plenty of opportunity. Winning!

Huh? I bet Katie isn't from the United States either. Any guesses on where Katie is truly from?

Idk, b/c you don't provide any context to who Katie is. But since you asked, I think she's a scam-artist like you. Your English isn't any better than hers, and you're both foolishly determined to judge companies producing academic-level English. I don't know why you two didn't hit it off.

Maybe it's that Katie's probably lived in the US/UK, and I don't think you have. So, that actually puts her one up on you--- she's easier to understand, and about 100x more authentically colloquial. You make similar basic errors. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she appears to be much more self-aware about that than you are. That adds some likeability to her readability (neither of which traits you possess).

You do have a snottier tone in challenging her-- no points for that, as your grammar in the third sentence up there is abysmal. Have you heard the one about glass houses? Don't answer that.

Answer this: how dare you call for guesses about Katie's English-- and who are you calling, the people whom you've been scared to address directly here for almost a year now?

The URL directs to a hiring page. Even though they are one of the few academic writing companies that can somehow still manage to hire writers, I would not advise that any academic writer looking to break into the market apply at this company. Their rates are simply too low for them to hire quality writers. I am sure Freelancewriter will back me up on this. Their rates are not realistic for a talented and experienced writer. These are the prices normally paid out to 3rd world writers who would consider themselves lucky to be working in this field. Not that they would be very good at it.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

Agreed. No decent writer would work for an essay company for less than $20 USD/pg; and essay companies typically pay their writers roughly 40-60% of the price charged to their customers for projects. If that math doesn't add up, it means the person writing your project definitely is not located in a first-world country, definitely has zero qualifications, and definitely does not hold an advanced degree -- and probably not even any university degree at all -- in anything, and definitely is not any kind of "expert" or "specialist" in any academic field, regardless of what any website claims.

My guess is that as more and more customers discover how unreliable AI is for this kind of work, more companies are hiring again.
