Susan is really helpful when you are nice to her, don't you think? I have tried to alternately be rude and nice to her, and she never fails to match my mood. LOL

Will I get even a single penny from essaywriters.net?

I have been writing for these frauds since May 2010. They paid me for June (twice). At the moment they are stuck with a significant part of my bucks. They are now citing plagiarism and am informed that they are still checking my papers, this leaves me on a 60 day hold period. Most of this orders I have received 'very satisfied' from customers. I feel like a fool having worked off my a** for nothing.

My efforts in trying to request for my money has fallen on deaf ears. These is the reply I get

'Due to the hold status the payment will be processed after the hold status is lifted. We encourage you to take the orders and kindly ask you to try your best to show the positive results as soon as possible.

The faster we see the improvement, the earlier the hold status will be removed and your status will be reconsidered.

Your improved performance will never pass unnoticed.

We thank you for cooperation and hope for your understanding.

Best regards, "

Why I am allowed to take orders if indeed plagiarism was detected in any of my papers? I wouldn't want to earn even a single penny on a low quality paper. If they guarantee 100% plagiarism free papers to customers (which I delivered) why not just fire me! These guys are taking advantage of me. This is my right but is there justice in this world? Is there justice for people who work in the cloud?

Oh my God, I feel scammed!

Simple: the disgusting fraudsters want you to write as many papers as possible, for free, until you finally give up receiving payment. This is a well-known part of their business model.

What do you suggest that I do now. I am not that kind of person to write them a bad message or something. Should I just demand for my money and give them like a month, if they don't behave then I just let them have the money. After all, they cannot hold my life at ransom.

Your suggestion please, WB.

Tell them that they need to pay you within the next twenty-four hours or all of the essays that they haven't paid for will be posted online--and make good on the threat. Start a few blogging accounts on different sites and post the essays. If they haven't paid you for the work, then it is still legally and ethically yours to do with as you will. If you can still contact the customers, sending them messages like, "the company has refused to pay me and your essay will soon be published online. I apologize for any inconvenience" also tends to get a quick reaction from admin.

Of course, whether or not this works, you won't be working for this company any more (they won't like you very much).

EssayWriters.net is the biggest fraud in the business and will pull just about any scam to avoid paying its writers.

The only way I got my money out of them was to report them to the Federal Trade Commission and FBI for fraud, and let them know that I had. I haven't gone near them since.

Threats won't work... From what I read in another thread, it is useless. I guess your best bet would be reporting the site to BBB (Better Business Bureau) and holding on to the stuff you have written. You can use it to sell to someone else.

I worked for EW a few years ago. I quit on bad terms, after they fined me 300% on a paper. I don't know if they changed their MO, but they paid me everything they owed me. my advice is to be patient-- don't go off half-cocked; the FBI has better things to do. wait the 60 days.

Thank you guys for your responses to my post, though am yet to get my money from EW. I have decided to be patient and see if they will pay me. In any case these guys don't hold my destiny. I have better things to do like read for my CFA exams.

Again I say thank you!

Just before am off, right now EW site is paying 2 bucks per page on most of the orders. Surely these zombies are out to siphon the dollar. I mean 2 bucks? I wonder who is writing for these people. Let me ask that again, Who is writing for EW at the moment?

seriously this is a good question, who is actually accepting these $2 per page orders out there?

There are people out there in ESL countries like Pakistan, India, etc. who may even work at $1 per page.

ESL countries

ESL is a term used for people who live, or are going to live, in English-speaking countries.

if they're not in English-speaking countries, it's EFL.

but anyway, yeah, it's all about cost of living, and also, whether the company screens its writers to see if they can write in English before it hires them (or, in the case of EW, enslaves them).

Writer threats don't work on these companies. They know that the writers are powerless to make good on any threats. What some of these companies do is, they release a part of the salary as a measure of goodwill. Gaining the writers trust just long enough for them to come up with trumped up reasons to never payofff the balance. she writer gets angry, the same process is applied. It turns into a vicious cycle until the writer eventually gives up and leaves the balance with the company. The scammer always wins in the end.

I have my doubts about the OP actually having received his full salary based on this discussion. The response from the company rep was really evasive. The responses were acceptable but vague. She never agreed that the writer would be getting his full salary, just that he would get paid soon. No specific date either. The writer foolishly believed the promises made. What a newbie. She did not realize she was being taken for a ride. The payment was surely riddled with deductions, but since the account will be deemed settled on the part of the company, there would have been no sense in the writer protesting the amount received. Which is probably why she did not deliver a follow up report. She was too embarassed to admit being strung along after praising the company in ther original post.
