I don't know how best to say this but essaywriters.net[DND*] are just gruesome thieves. I have been working for them for 2 months now and when my status began going well they terminated my account for no apparent reason. But the worst thing is that i had $1400, scheduled for May 15th payments. Now it's all gone. They didn't even have the courtesy of notifying me, they just closed my account and the next thing i knew is that i could not even login. You can imagine how i feel right now after all that effort, now i owe people money that i can't get.

Who knows?? It could be you tomorrow!! I also know a couple of other people who have recently become victims of this criminal act. We need to do something guys and we need to do it fast. I don't know the best course of action, so if anyone can help, please do.

There really was no reason? Losing $1400 for no reason would be a disaster for all hard working freelance writers...

Not that it's any of my business, but is there a reason why this account got terminated? This is essayscam after all, so either you cheated him/her, or he/she cheated you/customer, in some way.

Ashley Johnson and her team at essaywriters.net.DND are foolish. The fools are no longer opening accounts for African writers however, we still pay get Americans, Britons, Indians, Pakistanis, and Philipinos to open the accounts for us. Most of the American profile accounts opened recently by the company are already in Nigeria, Kenya and many other African countries. They are being sold in the streets, just like before. Africans will do anything to get those accounts and resell them to other African writers. There are some games in which you cant win against Africans especially Nigerians . Even of you blacklist Africa and you will still have Africans in your payroll masquerading as Britons and Americans. So Ashley Johnson and your team at essaywriters.net.DND, those native writer accounts you are opening, complete with an uploaded video of a Briton or an American describing themselves are finding their way to Africa immediately.

Essay Writers and Affiliates Now Selling Accounts

This company no longer recruits writers competitively. Ashley Johnson and her crew are now selling the accounts through some online cartels they have created. Do not bother applying for an account with Essay Writers and its affiliates.

What does it mean that they are 'selling accounts' - do you mean they sell personal information of the current/former freelance writers?

@Major
I think it means they sell to writers access to the orders and briefs that clients place with them. They sell the job opportunities they create for writers. Some companies actually create writer profiles then place them up for auction where writers bid to buy them. The irony is that the sites notorious for this are the ones that barely pay anything worth a competent writer's efforts

Hm I see - but then writers can go to places like upwork or freelancer where they pay nothing unless they get a job. I don't know who would pay for 'job opportunities access.' Besides, who can guarantee the order inquires are not fake - just look at all those online dating sites where 50-80% of profiles are fake (their goal is to attract paying members who think these profiles are real).

Based on the income that the OP had at the time, it is safe to say that he was one of their better writers who brought in repeat clients. I really do not understand why they would cancel his account unless he accidentally violated something in the Terms of Service. Perhaps he was caught trying to sell his account? Or maybe, he created duplicate accounts and they somehow managed to trace the account back to him. Whatever the reason, I just hope he got the money they owed him. He worked for that money and deserved to receive it. I wish someone could have told us how this story ended.

I think this company is about to go under. I checked the website and there were no active orders listed, there were only 2 active writers while 20 were online. This is not a good sign for the company. There are only 2 reasons a company would not have any active orders on the server. First, the company could be losing out to AI written essays, which means their orders might start picking up after enough students get tired of the useless essays that AI writes. The second reason, is that the reputation of the company as one of the worst employers and not exactly having good quality writers to begin with has already become very well known in the writing community, thus turning off students from working with the company. Either way, I believe we will be free of this in due time.

What kind of "writer" works for $7/page in 2025 and what do you suppose the quality of those projects might be?
