Hi everyone!
I also came across writers.ph and unfortunately I have already registered and took orders before I found this site. I am just a new writer and I was really surprised when I read all your comments regarding writers.ph. I have not get my first pay yet because I am still confuse regarding my bank account details. They say there that wire transfer is the only option for writers in the Philippines (by the way I am from the Philippines) and I have to have a dollar account in order to get paid. I asked them if it is really a requirement to have a dollar account and Helen (i think) told me that I can ask my bank if they convert the dollar automatically.

For those who previously worked or is working in writers.ph, which payment option did you choose? if that is wire transfer, did you have a dollar account or just a personal account (not USD)? Is the payment more like receiving remittances from abroad? And I also have confusions regarding the ABA number that they are asking. My account is at Banco de Oro. I got the swift code already but the assistant there was not able to give me the ABA number. How will I know Banco de Oro's ABA?

Please help me guys. Like you, I hate scams as well and I want to get my pay as quick as possible so that I can exit as soon as I get my pay. Your responses and advice will be highly appreciated.. Thank you.

1. Welcome.

2. Don't post the same message in multiple threads. That's basic forum etiquette. (Doing so makes people NOT want to help you.)

Just got scammed by writers.ph.DND

I can't beleive it but I've written numerous amount of articles for this company ( I've had positive feedbcks from clients) they have closed my account now and have not transfered the money regarding my last jobs. I'm seeking legal action against them but I'm seeing where they have had a history of negative feedbacks.

I have told people to try the write scholars several times. Many times people go to the sites that offer cheap prices. the problem with cheap prices, you get what you pay for; an F paper or something that is plagiarized. I am sorry to hear about your experiences, all you can do is write about it and let people know about your experience.

Hey Ablan, there's only so much of your nonsense that we can take. Keep this up and I will personally display all your contact details publicly here, including your academic history and amount of debt due to your landlord. Private registration does not keep you hidden from everyone. Or do you need me to give you subtle hints to assure you I got you made?

HI MALCOMx I am sorry to upset you. I received an AA, Bachelors of Science, Masters of Science and Educatinal Specialist. Currently,I do not owe money to my landlord because I have been paying on time for two years. I went through a foreclosure in 2006 and almost filed for bankruptcy in 2011 due to bad choices. I didn't know that buying a house, would make me lose every single dime I had...but it did. In fact, I am glad it happened because I learned a great deal. Well as you can see from my super confidential file, I have no major tickets (one minor speeding..sorry), no credit card debt, but like many education loans ...that I do promise to pay back every single dime. I will work hard until I pay it back.

If it upsets you that I am posting about the site, I apologize. The site is real and like someone else said, with time people will know if it is real or fake. Again Malcom sorry for making you upset, those were not my intentions.

If you are a writer who does not want to risk being scammed, then do not work for this company.; They still claim to be paying their writers via Paypal when we all know that Paypal no longer works with writing companies. That alone is a red flag that should tell the potential writer that the company is selling them a bag of lies. There is no truth to anything on their website. They make false promises that those of us who run proper writing businesses know cannot happen. When I asked around, I was told that this company is run by Ukrainians through some shady business deal or business fronts that allow them to run the business out of that country. This is the most illegitimate writing company around from what I have heard. Writers will do well to stay as far away as possible from this company. There is nothing trustworthy about their writers or the people that run the company.

we all know that Paypal no longer works with writing companies.

This is a very ironic argumentum ad populum, and the mods better keep an earmark somehow, because it isn't just a red flag for misinformation to come; it also shows what an out-of-touch idiot Cite is.

So, I can't point that out, but they can spread misinformation. Okay.

Paypal renewed their writing relationship with writers and writing companies. I think they cut off the relationship in the past because they had no way of controlling the flow of payment nor how to identify it in their system. The users were confused trying to send payments and refunds were difficult to file. That is why they developed the digital services payment section at Paypal. it resolved the payment and refund situation for all concerned.

Since I discovered Square Up, I greatly prefer that system to PayPal's, but I never had any issue using PayPal.
