Hi everyone!
I also came across writers.ph and unfortunately I have already registered and took orders before I found this site. I am just a new writer and I was really surprised when I read all your comments regarding writers.ph. I have not get my first pay yet because I am still confuse regarding my bank account details. They say there that wire transfer is the only option for writers in the Philippines (by the way I am from the Philippines) and I have to have a dollar account in order to get paid. I asked them if it is really a requirement to have a dollar account and Helen (i think) told me that I can ask my bank if they convert the dollar automatically.
For those who previously worked or is working in writers.ph, which payment option did you choose? if that is wire transfer, did you have a dollar account or just a personal account (not USD)? Is the payment more like receiving remittances from abroad? And I also have confusions regarding the ABA number that they are asking. My account is at Banco de Oro. I got the swift code already but the assistant there was not able to give me the ABA number. How will I know Banco de Oro's ABA?
Please help me guys. Like you, I hate scams as well and I want to get my pay as quick as possible so that I can exit as soon as I get my pay. Your responses and advice will be highly appreciated.. Thank you.
