Poor soul!

Can you repeat that again?
Meokhan, why do you find it necessary to waste your time trying to earn a living through academic writing?
As all the contributors in this thread have emphatically told you, stop pretending that you're a writer- just continue with your goat herding expeditions.

Do you ever feel ashamed marketing yourself as a writer?
You can do better being an Al Qaeda's doormat. Or, as i previously advised, sell cabbages in your local market.

I am happy to see that you spent so much time digging into old threads.

I am also happy to know that you're so jealous of me being an academic writer. Keep moaning!

wow! jealous of you?
Yeah, the way i am jealous of hardworking flies.
Young boy, i told you you have no business writing papers either in English or even in your native language(Gujarati or whatever).
Apart from being linguistically challenged, you lack the necessary research skills and intellectual pragmatism to put together a decent paper-in whatever language.
Why did you abandon your goat herding career? Afraid of Al Qaeda? While at it, can you even bomb a mosquito?

How do you know that?

You have personally admitted you're not competent enough to engage in academic writing. Your gods(WB et al) have severally called out your abominable writing 'skills'

That you live in total squalor in your Islamabad dungeon should be a clear warning to students to avoid your services.

How many of the English-speaking writers write in another language? Instead of criticism, I feel that we deserve credit for working in a different language. I hope my fellow writers will consider this point.

As I said elsewhere, I wish I was smart enough to write in another language. It's taken me almost 50 years to get a handle on English, and even after living in a French-speaking country for 3 years, I can only speak enough French to get in trouble. For those with the talent, I've been wondering if there aren't niche opportunities available for academic writers in Swahili, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Arabic, for example.

When did I say that, loser? If WB and others have criticized me, I have presented my counterarguments as well. Quote them too while referring to the criticism.

For those with the talent, I've been wondering if there aren't niche opportunities available for academic writers in Swahili, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Arabic, for example.

I belong to Pakistan where Urdu and English are the two languages that we need to deal with in academia and elsewhere. I think there are surely many opportunities available in these languages as well. I am quite sure of the Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) language because I have personally communicated with a few writers in that market.

Secondly, my experience as a language learner tells me that language learning is a matter of personal interest, and more importantly, exposure to that language. Possibly, you've had not much exposure to French though you have been living there for the past 3 years.

I lived in Belgium a long time ago, but you're right. Except for the bars and grocery stores, we rarely tried to speak French and almost everyone spoke perfect English so it wasn't really necessary.

I belong to Pakistan where Urdu

Who do the Urdu? (heh)

According to the Wikipedia entry for Urdu,"There are between 60 and 70 million native speakers of Urdu. A knowledge of Urdu allows one to speak with far more people than that, as Hindi-Urdu is the fourth most commonly spoken language in the world, after Mandarin, English, and Spanish.

There are millions of Pakistanis whose mother tongue is not Urdu, but since they have studied in Urdu medium schools, they can read and write Urdu along with their native language.

It is used in education, literature, office and court business."

The information seems quite plausible. To your confusing "Who do the* Urdu?", I can say millions of people around the globe. :-)

From Pakistan, I am a new member to EssayScam.Org. I must admit that common opinion of writers on this forum is straightforwardly "negative" for Pakistani writers.

Hello MeoKhan! i want to get an essay. please email me so that we could talk about it.

Oh my god ...its seems that it this discussion is more of a country bashing than anything else.. I don't think generalization on the basis of country is fair...but yes discussion should be on the basis of services.....

A poor English, no referencing and fraudulent activities is not a sign of a good company whether it is pakistani or from any country.

Lets love all :)

I wonder why the companies do not inform their customers about the origins of their writers.

It is not that the companies are trying to deceive their clients. It is just a sin of omission on their part. They opt not to tell the students about where their writers are from because it (1) does not come up in the conversation or (2) the clients do not ask, so why tell? The bottom line for the companies are simple:

- Fill the vacant writer seats
- Maintain a regular writer pool
- Have the writers produce quality work

The last part is the main reason why these companies tend to hire writers from the third world. If they can produce good work at a lower cost, then the company makes a hefty profit, while delivering what the client needs, but underpaying their writers, who think they are getting a good CPP.

Pakistani writers seem to have fallen by the wayside these days. I think they have gone into another line of business. One where their lack of academic capacity will not be easily noticeable. They have no ability to write a comprehensive essay in English. That was well known from the very start. Why the students gave them a chance to write for them is beyond me. At least they have disappeared, as far as I know, and have left the real writing to the real professionals. The real professionals by the way, still have to contend with the fakers in the business so students, make sure to vet the writer you want to hire very well. A Pakistani might still end up in your applicant list.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.
